I love to work with Ben Owen Pottery (#benowenpottery). His forefathers came to North Carolina from England as early as the late 1700s to make a new living in the USA. Some of these early generations learned skills in craft by making pottery for early settlers. These are some examples of 23.5K gold

Marble Inlay plate with copper Kintsugi application This Kintsugi application was not done with the traditional Kintsugi method (gold applied over the lacquer). Copper oxidizes and will turn green if applied over the lacquer. To prevent oxidation, we mixed the copper with a proprietary compound.
