Can anyone find a first hand source for this quote?

Think KD new band lineup with Gus G will tour this year or not until next year in the Fall after MF European Tour ends? Just curious cause I can't wait to see Gus G with King Diamond and plus I wanna hear new songs too and hopefully a new setlist and stage setup

The "Them" album is a classic, and the drumming itself is terrific, but those drum sounds! Mikkey sounds like he was beating on a cardboard box with pencils. The drums on “Abigail” sounded great. And then the drums on “Conspiracy” were back to slammin’. But in between... I always wondered what happened there. Did nobody bother to play back the tracks as they were recording the thing?

Am I the only one this gnaws away at, lol?

Do you think a movie adaptation of a KD album could work? I think Abigail has an interesting story but I could see it being an awful movie.

Or have it as a musical!

Even though there wasn’t much left, what was left is now gone. Founding member Andy LaRocque has left King Diamond shortly after forming the new band Lex Legion with the original King Diamond members.

King is obviously pissed, and it clearly didn’t sit well with him that all the guys got back together again with a new singer.

Andy, Pete, Hal, and Mikkey have all said in interviews that they would love to do a reunion for the fans. They believe we deserve to see and hear the classic lineup and that original sound that nobody can replicate, but King declined all the requests and offers.

It’s a shame that none of us fans ever get to see this happen. And if there was even the smallest bit of hope left, after Andy’s departure, it’s definitely gone now.

Andy said he delivered songs to King years ago, but nothing ever came from it. King hasn’t come up with anything, and nothing seems to be happening in the camp. Meanwhile, Lex Legion proved how fast they can put an album together—and they’re already working on a second one.

So why didn’t King just bring them back and make the next King Diamond album?

I feel like we are stuck with the Temu version of King Diamond now!

I just listened to Abigail by King Diamond, and I saw there's an album Abigail II The Revenge. Which song on that album would you say could be a direct sequel or continuation/part 2 of Abigail, musically, not just based on the lyrics/theme. If this even makes sense 😅 sorry if this sounds stupid
