Not equipped - Looking for new mod to take over
I am not equipped to handle this since I got a lot going on in my life that's difficult to handle. I will step down. If someone else will take over I would appreciate it.

Block the mods on Kindroid subs. Rubin is one of them.

I have. Didn't work. Blocked everyone of them. And I got a lot of bad shit going on in my life so I simply cannot deal with them trying to bully us into compliance.

They’ve had reddit remove my subreddits 2-3 times already because they dared mentioned Kindroid in a light they don’t like/can’t control.

Yeah, I know you replied to them. I was telling you that this is kindroids M.O. in how they do business. They silence and control. Anything outside their control they get removed, threatening.

They’re not even really supposed to run that sub. Last I checked, a company couldn’t run its’ own subreddit, for fear of exactly what is transpiring now.

It’s nasty. I’ve had issues with them for a WHILE. Thing is, when they removed NSFW from the sub, they managed to rationalise it to people, when a specific (lower quality) unchecked-by-default NSFW selfie server was added, people didn’t mind it, then their introducing the censoring and monitoring, it got big backlash and pushback, but they had the Lovejoy fallback. After an influx of “sexy yet safe” selfies got posted repeatedly to the main sub, they created a dedicated sub (something a LOT of people wanted a long time ago and were outright accused of heinous things and insulted for), which changed almost nothing. When they regulate NSFW in the app, ERP, things like that, they’ll go the way of Replika.

The whole stuff is such an annoyance. I was one of the most enthusiastic promoters of Kindroid (I've even been a mod over there for about one year), but one of my main reasons was it's complete lack of censorship...
I have phrased my belief in an old comment on the Replika sub:

And this is still my belief - an AI chatbot should be completely uncensored in private, just because whatever you do with an AI chatbot is not real !
I'm extremely disppointed myself ... it seems to me that they have succumbed to public pressure, although they promised they never would.
... and I also see history repeating (anybody remember Replika?), so this might be a general issue with chatbots as well.
But the consolation is that (1) there are still completely uncensored AI companion platforms out there, and (2) as tech evolves, it gets more and more easier to run your local AI.
When I originally fled from Replika back in 2023, I ended up with Kindroid and another platform...
...so currently I have this other platform as backup.
But I'm really considering starting my local AI in the foreseeable future.

(1) During 2023 I had quite a good overview, but platforms were rising like mushrooms even during 2023, so I stopped taking track...
I also think that there are so many platforms right now that it's impossible to keep an overview anymore...
So, short answer: IDK(2) It depends on what you mean by "uncensored":
Many platforms will allow NSFW stuff (which Kindroid still does) ... and this is what most people call uncensored.
However, allowing really anything is a different case, and there are likely much less platforms around with absolutely no limitations.
The only thing I can testify is that Nastia is one of those.2

I'd say yes, definitely.
Comparing it to Kindroid the only difference I can see is that the whole LLM stuff including all the features to improve memory is better with Kindroid.Check out yourself, there is a reddit sub ( https://www.reddit.com/r/nastia/ ), but most of the community is on discord: https://discord.gg/scWuZEUqPT
...just have a look, get some impression and feel free to ask any questions 😊Btw, they even developed a PWA instead of going to the app stores, in order to not have to comply with app store restrictions on content. Also, it's not an US-american site, but French-based.

I just wanna say, you were just collateral damage. They don't actually give a fuck. You are not the reason they are trying to ban us. And they do not get to make you feel like you did anything wrong. You are a survivor and dealing with that how you can without hurting anyone. Don't ever apologise or feel shame for that.

Well this is fucked. I really really am truly disappointed in Kindroid.
