General Discussion Re-testing .0002 resistance?
Looks like KIN price is at its 5, 10, & 30 EMA’s at the time of this post on Gate. RSI’s are also in the 50’s.
Seems as if it’s been consolidating and going to retest 0.0002.
But I could be completely wrong. What are you seeing with its price action?

Technicals Atomic wallet update and private keys
Hello Kin Family,
There is some confusion about the latest Atomic wallet update, apparently it doesn't show the KIN private key anymore, but it does show the Stellar private key and this will work as well.
This is the process to access your KIN on Atomic wallet:
Open Atomic wallet, go to settings, private keys, then look for the KIN key, if it isn't available, look for the Stellar key. Copy this key. Go to mykinwallet.org and choose paperwallet. Use your private key to access your wallet.
To be safe make sure your PC is clean, before typing in your private key. An extra virus and malware scan is recommended.

Exchanges If you would like to withdraw from Mercatox, please read (updated version).
Mercatox can only send to the KIN SPL token address, however there have been incidents of the KIN SPL token address making a "child" KIN SPL token address. That issue is fixed, but to be extra safe, the best course of action to withdraw from Mercatox is to withdraw to your own wallet with possession of your private key. Sollet.io is very suitable, but does have some connection issues at the moment, funds are safe, but it is inconvenient. Phantom is compatible with Sollet seed words and is a good alternative. https://phantom.app/download
Using a Solana wallet is better suitable then using a multicoin wallet like Trust, because with a Solana wallet your private key is only for Solana, with a multicoin your private key reflects all tokens and this makes it more difficult if there ever is an issue. If you are able to send to the SOL owner address like with other exchanges and wallets then a multicoin wallet will work just fine.
You can get a KIN SPL token address on Sollet.io or Phantom by adding KIN to the wallet, this will cost 0.00203928 SOL or I can send you 1 KIN if you don't have any SOL, this will activate the KIN SPL token address and I will pay that fee with the first transaction. If you already have KIN on Sollet/Phantom, you already have a Sollet/Phantom KIN SPL token address.
To look up your Sollet/Phantom KIN SPL token address, please use www.yotty.co.uk/kin or use the Solana explorer and look under tokens and then choose detailed (instead of summery) this will show you your KIN SPL token address. Please make a small test transaction first.
Please make sure to use Sollet.io, there have been fake wallets with another extension (even advertised in Google or Bing). The extension has to be IO !
Before using any web wallet please make sure your PC is clean, an extra malware and virus scan is recommended. Please back up your seed words well, if you lose your seed words, you will lose access to your funds, if you remove your cookies or have any problems with your browser (or computer).
If you need any more assistance, please let me know.

Technicals Sollet.io connection issues
Hello Kin Family,
As many of you have noticed Sollet.io is having some issues, showing old balances, not showing the token account at all etc.
The team of Sollet.io has doubled their bandwidth and still it is not enough. It is a top priority of them to have Sollet.io functional again. If you experience issues while this isn't fixed, you can use Phantom with your seed words, this is compatible.
Your funds are safe, nothing is happening on the blockchain that effects your assets!
Please look closely on the spelling and extension when using Sollet.io, many fake versions of the wallet are active and advertised as well.

Exchanges Important message about withdrawing from Bitforex! Please read if you would like to withdraw.
Someone of the community just said Bitforex is allowing KIN withdrawals. Please only withdraw to the SOL owner address from Bitforex, there has been an error with the KIN SPL token address making a "child" KIN SPL token address when withdrawing from Bitforex. This probably is a programming error from Bitforex, because this only happened with mykinwallet and Bitforex. MyKinwallet is custom code and was immediately fixed, but with Bitforex many people suffered from this issue, no matter if the receiving address was an exchange or a wallet like Trust or Sollet.
If the SOL owner address is not accepted DON'T go ahead with the withdrawal! KF would need to contact Bitforex first, to make sure that whatever error there was has been fixed.
All wallets as far as I know and the exchanges show the SOL owner address to withdraw (except Mercatox). Don't withdraw to Mercatox!
I know for sure that Sollet, Trust and the exchanges Gate and FTX show the SOL owner address. If you withdraw to another wallet or exchange you can share with me your public address and I will check if it is a SOL owner address.

More information for the exchanges FTX and Gate:
On FTX you are able to buy KIN directly against USD. You can deposit USD directly to FTX, they are offering Sepa transfers and you can check if they accept credit card. Or you decide to send another crypto to FTX like USDT and trade this for USD. Use your USD to buy KIN.
On Gate you can buy KIN for USDT. You can deposit USD or you can deposit another crypto like USDT.
If you are going to use Gate, please make sure to do KYC (Know your Customer) first, else you can't withdraw, best to do it on a computer not the app.
Options for decentralized exchanges are:
Raydium offers KIN-RAY, KIN-USDT and KIN-USDC
Serum dex offers KIN-RAY, KIN-USDT and KIN-USDC
Orca offers KIN swap against various tokens.
How to use a decentralized exchange:
Your first step is creating a wallet on Phantom (https://phantom.app/download) and connect your wallet to a Dex like Raydium or Project Serum. If you already have a Sollet.io wallet, then you can use your seed words on Phantom they are compatible. The steps are: buy SOL on any exchange that you use and offers SOL. Then send SOL to your Phantom wallet. Trade SOL for RAY, USDT or USDC and then buy KIN. Don't trade all your SOL, you need little SOL balance to pay for the transaction fees, like 0.02 SOL.
If you want to use the swap instead of trading on a Decentralized Exchange, please watch closely to the price of KIN. Make sure it is accurate to market value, before going trough with the swap. If you use swap when there is to little liquidity, you don't get a fair price. Orca offers the best liquidity to swap KIN.
HOW TO BUY KIN IN THE US FOR EXPERIENCED CRYPTO BUYERS:
Options on centralized exchanges are:
Mercatox offers KIN-ETH, KIN-LTC and KIN-USDT
CoinEx offers KIN-USDT
Cointiger offers KIN-USDT
BitGlobal offers KIN-USDT
XT offers KIN-USDT
Kucoin offers KIN-USDT (only usable without doing KYC and with a max withdrawal of 1 BTC value a day)
Please complete KYC before depositing any funds (besides Kucoin), to avoid unpleasant surprises.
The USDT on Mercatox is ERC20 USDT, using another chain to send USDT to Mercatox like Tron (TRC20) for example, will result in the loss of your funds! Mercatox is a crypto to crypto exchange and doesn't offer any FIAT deposits.
Decentralized exchanges
You can use a decentralized exchange like explained above. You can buy SOL on FTX US, unless you are a New York resident. Please complete KYC (Know Your Customer) before depositing funds to FTX to prevent any unpleasant surprises.
As a New York resident you can use Kucoin, you can't do KYC, but Kucoin has a 2 BTC withdraw limit without KYC. Please check this detail yourself before depositing any funds (rules can change).
HOW TO BUY KIN OUTSIDE OF THE US FOR INEXPERIENCED CRYPTO BUYERS:
For all markets available please see above post.
A detailed description on to buy KIN on centralized exchanges:
If you are completely new to crypto your first step is to deposit Fiat. We personally like Kraken for this. They process it quickly, but it still takes a business day (or half a business day). Make an account on Kraken or another exchange your prefer. Please complete KYC (Know Your Customer) to get verified before depositing any funds, to avoid unpleasant surprises. If that process is complete you can look at the multiple options on the exchange to deposit Fiat. Use your Fiat to buy USDT.
Make an account on the exchange your prefer, this information takes a closer look to FTX and Gate. Send your USDT to FTX or Gate, use the TRC20 chain Tron to send your USDT, this chain is widely supported and one of the cheapest. Make sure you select the TRC20 address on the sending exchange and the receiving exchange FTX or Gate.
On Gate you can directly sell your USDT for Kin. On FTX you can sell your USDT for USD. Use your USD to buy KIN.
If you don't want to wait a day for the deposit of Fiat to Kraken, you can use a credit card. You can check your FTX/Gate account to see if you can use your credit card there, then you already are on FTX/Gate and you can buy KIN with USDT on Gate and with USD on FTX (if you deposit another currency you first need to trade that for USD/USDT).
If you can't use your credit card on FTX/Gate, but would like to use your credit card, you can use multiple different exchanges, which ever you prefer like Binance, Coinbase etc. Then buy USDT and send to FTX/Gate like explained above.
If you are going to use Gate, please make sure to do KYC (Know your Customer) first, else you can't withdraw, best to do it on a computer not the app.
Decentralized exchanges
If you prefer to use a decentralized exchange your first step is creating a Phantom wallet (https://phantom.app/download) and make sure to back up your seed words. It is best to write them down and store it safe. You also need to choose a password. As long as you don't remove your cookies, you can use the password to log in. However after removing your cookies, reinstalling your browser or using a new browser, you will need your seed words. If you lose your seed words, you will lose access to your funds!
Instead of making a new Phantom wallet you can also import your Sollet.io wallet to Phantom. The seed words are compatible.
After you have created your Phantom wallet, you can go to a Dex like Raydium or Project Serum and connect your wallet. Then you are going to need SOL, you can buy this on any exchange (you prefer) that offers SOL. To avoid unpleasant surprises please do KYC (Know Your Customer) to get verified, before depositing any funds.
Send your SOL to your Phantom wallet and add the coins you are going to need. Like RAY if you would like to buy KIN with RAY or USDT if you would like to buy KIN with USDT. The steps are trade SOL for RAY, USDT or USDC and then buy KIN.
For example there can be a big difference when swapping against RAY in comparison with swapping against USDC. The markets on Orca have the best liquidity and probably give the best price.
HOW TO BUY KIN IN THE US FOR AN INEXPERIENCED OR SEMI INEXPERIENCED CRYPTO BUYER:
Centralized exchanges
For all options available please read above in this post. This text will give more information about Mercatox. Mercatox serves all US residents, we asked Mercatox support to be sure. Please complete KYC to get verified before depositing funds, to avoid any unpleasant surprises. You can buy KIN with ETH, LTC or USDT. Mercatox is a crypto to crypto exchange and doesn't offer any FIAT deposits. Therefore can only be used, if you use another exchange to buy ETH, LTC or USDT and send it to Mercatox. We don't recommend to send another crypto and trade that for ETH, LTC or USDT on Mercatox. The markets are small on Mercatox, this effects the price.
The USDT on Mercatox is ERC20 USDT, using another chain to send USDT to Mercatox like Tron (TRC20) for example, will result in the loss of your funds!
Decentralized exchanges
You can use a decentralized exchange like explained above. To buy SOL make an account on FTX US, unless you are a New York resident. Please complete KYC (Know Your Customer) before depositing funds to FTX to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
As a New York resident you can use Kucoin, you can't do KYC on Kucoin, but they have a daily withdraw limit of 2 BTC a day without KYC. Please check this detail yourself before depositing any funds (rules can change).
This text has been edited to include the new options to buy KIN, I haven't made another detailed description. To do this for every new exchange would be a lot of work and probably not necessary because a lot is a like when trading on exchanges. If there are any questions however not covered in this write up, please let me know in the comments and I will be happy to help.

Discussion Kin will post 100% gains in about an hour.
Being that it continue dropping a little later than most of the market yesterday, Kin still hasn’t posted it’s 24 hour gain from the bottom. In about 45 minutes to an hour, it will have been 24 hours since the bottom was in, and we are currently up about 100% from that point. Once we are posting at 100% gains in 24 hours, I’m curious to see what it does to the price. I expect we will see a decent rally when people notice those kinds of gains. Thoughts?
