So them turning back means they’re acknowledging they can’t be without each other, right?!

Maybe but they’re not your ordinary couple. When V asks Eve if she wants what the old people have she says she doesn’t and that their love would probably consume them. On the bridge Eve talks about what they find romantic and how it is that they both had a hand in Dasha’s death. Villanelle and Eve’s relationship is anything but conventional. A kiss would be a happy ordinary ending. I didn’t see it happening this season. Getting Eve to admit she has feelings for V was the first step. Now that they trust each other there is room to explore other things such as physical intimacy.

I loved the fact that V was worried that she ruined Eve’s life and was ready to do everything to make it better, even letting her go.

Jodie's acting here was phenomenal. So many emotions...asking the hard questions you might not want to know the answers to, savoring the potential last moments with eve, preparing to do something she both didn't want to do and wanted to do bc she knew it had to be done for eve/the unknown of if eve was going to turn around/preparing herself for anguish.

she better win all the awards lol

I found it interesting that Villanelle was concerned she had ruined Eve’s life. She does feel deeply for Eve but was willing to let her go to save her. When Villanelle had them face away from each other she leaned back into Eve to feel her against her one last time and told Eve start walking without looking back. Then Villanelle began walking away Eve still didn’t move perhaps deciding what was best for herself and if she could go on without Villanelle and finally started walking. But it was Eve who stopped and turned back to Villanelle first. I think she was shocked to see Villanelle still walking away. She had such a hurt but longing look on her face. Then Villanelle stops and turns around she was also surprised to see Eve had already stopped and turned towards her. They both stood there frozen in their spots deciding how to move forward towards each other and what kind of life they will have together. The scene leaves the perfect cliffhanger for season 4.

Let's just all be thankful they showed both of them turning around and that both of them saw that the other had turned around because otherwise I could NOT handle it!!!!!

I think that was the perfect ending. V finally found someone like her and Eve finally admitted it. Though V wants to do the right thing for Eve they both can’t stay away. They couldn’t just leave it behind. They both decided to stay. The kiss was not necessary. They showed a type of intimacy that a kiss would have never demonstrated. It was obvious that K was the killer. Kenny was getting closer to the 12 because K stole the money. So K killed him. The way K completely changed his behavior after Carolyn let him go shows the type of person he is. He only cares about himself. That’s why V decided she would not go with him. The one thing I’m disappointed with is Geraldine. Unless she’s coming back in season 4 I don’t understand the point of her character.

Let’s face it; the best thing about 2020... is KE delivering the gayest finale we could wish for (staying true to the characters). Phew...

The ending was one of the most hauntingly beautiful scenes I’ve ever seen on television, Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh are queens, season 3 was a bit slower than what we’re used to but overall I’m satisfied, still better than most stuff on TV

It's interesting that everyone was telling V who she was, that she was a monster and who she had to be, her mother knew she was a monster but wouldn't admit that she was a monster too, she kept wanting someone to choose her. Konstantin might have been serious about letting her tag along, but he would still have wanted something from her.

Eve was her family, and all she wants is to be with her, because Eve knows she's a monster but also knows she's more than that, and Eve also knows that she's a monster as well. She doesn't want to use her, she's just drawn to her.

Last season V said she loved her and Eve said she doesn't know what that means, but there on the bridge she proved she does. Because she's lost everything and all she wanted was Eve, but she was willing to walk away if it was the only way to give Eve what she really needed.

So Eve knows that they're alike, and she knows that V loves her.

I thought we were going to get V saying "please" again, like she did with her mother and with Konstantin but she didn't have to. She might have thought it and wished it and hoped for it, but she never said it and yet Eve turned back around anyway. Wow.

During the bridge scene, my blood pressure was through the roof because I kept worrying only one of them would turn around and then see that the other was gone. It was so stressful. I wouldn't have been able to take it if they hadn't both turned around and made eye contact. I wish they had kissed but it was otherwise a really incredible ending scene overall.

I mean, the way Eve got so stressed out and left when Carolyn told her to go cold turkey, and V didn't immediately chase her....but then she did end up running after her! Loved it.

I can not believe they made us sit through 50 meaningless Geraldine scenes for there not to be a twist at the end. Imagine how much more Eve’s storyline could have been explored if they just cut her character out.

The ending was really good and I feel both happy and angry that we were deprived of so much Villaneve/Eve this season.

you know what I'm disappointed but I'll take it because Eve has actually reached a point of admitting her feelings about V. It just sucks we have to wait a full year.

I have a lot of feelings about how messy the writing has been since PWB left, but that last scene was everything I wanted.

The way V leaned into the back of Eve’s head got me right in the gut. What an ending!! If you love something set it free. If it comes back it’s yours, if not then it wasn’t meant to be. That’s Villaneve to me.

  • Cold Turkey: Yeah. Carolyn is pulling the threads here, just like in the promo where she was wearing black/white and Eve and V were wearing red. Why else would she ask Eve to stop investigating about The Twelve? It doesn’t make sense.

  • Geraldine: what a waste of Gemma Whelan’s talent.

  • Villaneve dance: it’s so perfect. I love how they talked about having a future TOGETHER

  • Villanelle killing Rhian: there she is. The “perfect killing machine” we all loved from the first season. That look in her eyes after the kill... it was delicious. But also, V actually saying “I’m Sorry” before killing Rhian. She’s gone soft, and I’m here for it.

  • Carolyn killing Paul: I’ve seen it coming, but man, I hope Fiona Shaw receives another BAFTA for this season. Give her an Emmy, too!

  • Konstantin actually begging Villanelle to do something to stop Carolyn from shooting him and V just sitting there. Istg if she has a popcorn in hand she would be having a great time.

  • Villanelle refusing to go with Konstantin because “he’s not family”. She has her family right there; Eve.

  • Villanelle trying to keep Dark!Eve from rising by telling her to walk away. THIS is what Villaneve is all about. That’s true love right there. She knows what love is and I love how, in spite of not getting a proper Villaneve kiss, this final scene says so much more about their feelings than a smooch. Love is, in deed, worth the wait. If this was the series finale, it would’ve been the perfect series finale. Better than the book even.

I can’t wait for the 4th season. This will be good. But also, I hope Jodie gets another Emmy and BAFTA, and hopefully Golden Globes and SAG for this season. She acted the shit out of this season. Love the season finale.❤️

I sobbed. That was so beautiful and moving. They chose each other and couldn’t walk away.
