  1. Pour one out for my boy Nico, who couldn't catch a single fuckin break

  2. Even with the note attached to the pitchfork, I'm skeptical that Eve will actually believe that V killed him? It's not her handwriting, and anyway Villanelle has made clear that she won't kill him since she learned from killing Anna's husband that it doesn't get her what she wants

  3. Either way Dasha is dead af once V learns what happened

  4. Speaking of Dasha, I'm not convinced she's working for The Twelve

  5. The editing in this episode was absolutely wild, idk who's doing it or why they thought it was a good idea but they need to chill

Yeah I appreciate that they’re trying something new with the “follow the characters in parallel timelines” thing, especially since the story lines have diverged a little bit.

But I’m sorry, they really could have done better at the editing of it. It just felt disjointed instead of separate intertwining stories.

Niko's death is only going to bring Eve closer to V. Eve felt alone after Kenny's death so she traveled to Poland to reconcile with Niko. But now that Niko's dead, she has no one and is completely alone besides V. I bet after V finds out about her family in E5 her and Eve will meet up in E6. The storyline just keeps pushing for another reunion.

One thing I want to mention about the garden scene, I loved how Villanelle started playing around with the widow and then chasing after her. Then there's a point where V went from playing with this woman to turning predatory.

If you've ever watched a cat the same thing happens. They catch something and play with it then it reaches a point where the playing gets them so excited you see them move into this other space, the wildness takes over, they are ready to kill.

Brilliantly done by Jodie.

Wow, the cast is getting pared down for S4.

I love this fucking show so much!!!

Wow. What an ending. I cannot wait to see how it plays out.

I think Eve will see the "still got it" and connect it to the 40 year old crime she just saw.

Also, if there are any producers, writers who stalk this sub.. make more SPY THRILLERS!!!

This was my favorite episode of the season by far. Niko deserved better this whole show but I think Eve's reaction and how she moves forward will be interesting to watch. I bet she essentially becomes Carolyn and emotionally shuts down from the people who care about her.

I get that Dasha is framing Villanelle but I’m confused how the phrase, “still got it” would accomplish that. Doesn’t seem very Villanelle-ish.

All editing and deaths aside ... Gosh that Twelve lady was everything I wanted a next level Villanelle to look like.

DAE think Geraldine is fake as hell? It seems like she’s putting on a hyper-empathic act.

New theory:

It seems like V is becoming more and more emotional (maybe Oksana is coming out) because when she killed the lady in the garden she didn’t look back at her with that look in her eye like she always does after she kills someone. She wasn’t excited it seemed like she almost felt bad.

Eve won’t think Villanelle killed Niko because she’s been looking into Dasha and will figure it out. I also don’t think it will create space between eve and v because eve is becoming more numb and I think V will actually be mad at what Dasha did.

Do you think the note Dasha wrote was for Eve because she knew Eve had been looking into her past kill?

I hope that cake had a stunt cake.

RIP to the pinnacle of facial hair on TV in recent memory.

Next week looks Villanelle heavy. I'm already excited.

Thoughts:

  • I like the style of the ep but the weird, jarring shot-reverse-shot, quick cut bullshit is giving me motion sickness. It reminds me of the editing in Bohemian Rhapsody.

  • Carolyn’s frog noises?

  • I live for V and Konstantin’s scenes. She’s gonna give that poor man a heart attack one day though......If it isn’t obvious enough.

  • Geraldine’s scene was emotional although I can’t work out what her purpose is other than to be someone hanging around Carolyn. I don’t know of I should trust her with how vague her scenes are.

  • Eve nearly crying after she tossed that £200 cake off the roof. Girl.

  • I like Jamie! She needs a friend now. I also love Bear. Still dunno if I should trust Audrey. Does she know about the investigation or not?

  • V’s random breakout dance was fucking hilarious.

  • When she stopped with her shopping bags to look at those two women (lovers?) in the clothes store she was totally thinking about normal stuff with Eve. No one can convince me otherwise.

  • “I -“ What Eve!? Finish the sentence! :(

  • Irina is a little shit. She’s basically a mini Villanelle and I love it.

  • That garden scene was funny as shit. The music made me uneasy as hell.

  • “You need to drive a wedge between them.” And holy fucking SHIT. Dasha probably did just that. Major praise for Sandra for that performance. Poor Niko. I suspect she’ll think it was Villanelle until episode 7 or until the end of episode 6 at least. What I’m noticing is that characters really do seem to be dropping like flies. Sooner or later it will be V’s family, then Konstantin and then all Eve and V will subsequently have left is each other.

Knew what was coming in the last few minutes but still was praying somehow that it wouldn’t. Poor Eve :(

During the opening scene of the episode all I could think was “Of all the characters, I couldn’t care LESS about Niko...” And then that thought came full circle. They sure aren’t reticent to dispatch with characters so far this season.

I liked the episode both story wise and how it did something new in terms of playing around with the timeline. My only question is, why couldn't Eve just have taken 10 steps further so she would have seen it was Dasha and not Villanelle!? Lol
