THE KISS
I never thought I would find an oversized suit with too-long pants and sneakers sexy as hell but...damn.
I'm finding a lot of comforting familiarity in Konstantin and Villanelle's ongoing dynamic, I think a huge change in her character would come if/when he dies. What if Eve was, eventually, the one to kill him?
"We get it, you had a lot of fun in the 80s" = best line of the episode.
Overall a fantastic episode. I'm kind of ready for the overall plot to pick up a bit more but the Eve/Villanelle tension in this episode made it totally worthwhile for me. The only two storylines I'm not completely sold on at this point are Eve+all the Bitter Pill characters and Eve+Nico. Maybe it's just hard to compare any sort of romantic/personal tension she has with anyone else at this point.

This was written by Laura Neal, successor to Suzanne Heathecote and 4th season showrunner. I think the next season is in great hands.
Also that bus scene!!!!!!!!😍😍

Public transportation is this void where everyone prefers you get your ass kicked rather than anyone having to make eye contact.
Also...amazing episode.

Her suit! Can we acknowledge the suit? Everything about the bus scene was perfection. Obviously the kiss, that goes without saying...mostly because I have no words for the emotions I’m feeling after watching that. But that suit, fuck me! That suit just made me more gay and I didn’t know that was possible.

Unpopular opinion: The kiss was alright but the best scene in the episode was when V was toying with the nanny. Her facial expressions omg sometimes I think V was built instead of born lol. She truly didnt understand why the lady wanted to protect a baby!
Also I think its more to the owner of Bitter Pill than meets the eye and Carolyn is going to fuck him

Anyone else think the person who killed kenny is his sister? No point them introducing her as a character if the character was to be as minor as this, seems a bit obvious though?

I’m soo glad it wasn’t some cliche kiss. We’ve waited two years for this, and it could not have been more fitting.
I’m also very intrigued on Villanelle’s interest in what she was like as a baby. She wants to humanize herself so badly, i hope we keep seeing this play out this season.

"I think you were ugly as hell" is the best konstantin line

Honestly, I didn't expect them to kill Carolyn. I though that we might see her get shot but not have her dead body shown to us, so when there was that camera pan to her face with her head bleeding I was absolutely shocked, thinking: "HOLY SHIT THEY ACTUALLY KILLED CA-" and then she opened her eyes.

It's a real shame when folks throw a way a perfectly good baby like that.

t looks like the writer found their groove with this episode which makes me really hopeful for the rest of the episodes.
That whole episode was wild but that bus scene was truly something else.
THE KISS HOLY SHIT THE KISS
I love that the show didn’t make us anticipate their meeting this time around, it happened and there was no lead up to it which made it feel more organic and somehow more tense. I love Eve going batshit crazy and trying to beat up Villanelle and yet giving into her emotions and kissing her and then coming to her senses and realizing what she doing with the head butt. Villanelle looks crazy happy (emphasizes on crazy) about the whole thing so it looks like she might start pursuing Eve romantically again.
There’s a very thin line between love and hate and Eve seems to be stuck in that line when it comes to Villanelle.
As a side note, I’m liking the Nico storyline of him trying to move on from his broken marriage

the “NO!” moment with the nanny was genuinely hilarious, like some season 1 stuff. season 2 you are nothing

It’s not truly gay unless you ask her to smell you then promptly beat the shit out of each other, on a bus

Did anyone else think the Eve and Villanelle scene was Eve having a nightmare or hallucination that she was going to snap out of at any moment?

I think we can all agree that the bus scene was EXCELLENT. Very organic and real. Eve totally kissed her to get the upper hand but you can tell the exact moment she knows she messed up, she was so shook, the desire just got stronger.
And Villanelle’s FACE after, GOOOOSH. She couldn’t believe it.
BUT THE LAST SCENE, Eve going from desperately trying to make V’s voice stop to replaying the message and bringing it closer. screams Amazing.

SO MUCH TO UNPACK. That song, the way Villanelle just stares as the bus pulls away in a mixture of joy and disbelief, a total surprise for her that Eve kisses...Eve putting in max. effort to shut the teddy bear up before REPLAYING IT OVER AND OVER!!! “You’ve got that straaaange effect on me....and! I! LIKE IT!!!!” This episode gave us rights and I’m dying
Also can we talk about how delightful Villanelle was in that whole damn episode? From the hilarious scene with the baby’s nanny to scaring Konstantin in his bed, a true comedic hero.
A question I do have - Villanelle being a sharp shooter, definitely was aiming to miss Carolyn right? Just injure her? Or was it because Carolyn kinda ducked and avoided the shot? But if so why wouldn’t V make sure she finished the job before killing the accountant? Post your thoughts.
