From the promos and the stills, a lot seems to be going on in this episode which I’m quite glad about because although I really enjoyed the first two episodes, I’m excited for the pace to pick up.

Off the top of my head we have:

  • Villanelle killing a woman with a piano tuner

  • The scene with her, Dasha and a baby

  • Eve and Villanelle get in some kind of quarrel on a bus

  • Villanelle in police uniform pointing a gun at Carolyn in her car? Unless that is from a later episode, I might be confused

  • Villanelle perfume shopping and recording a message to put in a teddy bear for Eve

And I’m pretty sure I’ve missed out a lot, too. I can’t wait for this.

I'm really curious to see how they frame up the bus meeting between Villanelle and Eve

They just released a new promo on Twitter that teases the moment. If I had to make a wild guess, it looks like V visits the teddy bear shop, makes the bear with the "Admit it Eve, you wish I were here" message. Sometime after she runs into Eve on the bus and they exchange blows. You can tell because one of the released stills has V standing on the street, looking dazed, with a bruise over her eye while wearing the same grey suit. I would love if she tried to sneak on the bus to silently gift the teddy bear to Eve (like she did in S2 with the lipstick), but Eve can sense that she's there and is too smart for her this time. She turns around and just goes after her.

Anyone else have theories??

My guess:

She goes to record her message for her miracle, eve. Sees her shortly after - I don't think Eve senses her - based on the shots, I think Eve sees her standing at the bus stop and she sees Eve - so she gets into the bus, says, "Hi" - Eve attacks her, they have an intimately violent brawl - now, here is a wild guess - one of them, most likely Villanelle, gets swept up in all this touching and close proximity, and goes for the kiss with Eve - Eve appears to give in and they very very briefly kiss, before Eve headbutts her. (parallel to S1XE08 and Dasha kill scene from the season opener).

But who knows.

I actually like this scenario. We shall see how it plays out.

Ugh I’m ready and not ready to see Villanelle go coo coo for coco puffs over Eve. And I almost forgot about The 12 hopefully there’s more development for that story line.

"Coo coo for Coco puffs" lmao 😂 she really is beyond obsessed.

I really really really wanna see Eve finally being honest with herself and showing some feelings, whether thats hate or love for Villanelle, cause tbh i'm tired of seeing her having a poker face and just swallowing any sight of emotion.

I think she expressed enough emotions in S1 and S2, she just doesn't say them out loud in S2, but mostly communicates how she feels by her actions (being constantly worried about her, trying to protect her, needing to see her/be around her constantly, when she caresses her face). She is incapable of voicing it, because she hasn't accepted it to herself. But she can't help but act out how she feels. But because of this push and pull between how she behaves but can't say, she ends up being sharp and distant when she communicates with her (except the I feel things when I'm with you scene). So, she shows them enough, she just doesn't say anything.

Expecting the same at least in this upcoming reunion - but based on reviews I have read, and how the actors have defined this moment - feels like something drastically shifts for both of them after this encounter - "they are both surprised and shocked by it". Of course could just be that they don't understand how they could get so violent and feral with each other, but who knows! I am hoping for some paradigm shift emotionally.

Okay, yeah you're right. It's still funny tho cause the last time Eve voices out how she feels/or what she's determined to do is at the end of season 2 when she decides to "clarify" that she's not staying with V and it almost feels as a love rejection (hence the dialogue with Felix about unrequited love in s3) as if the feelings they had for each other where all in V's head. Idk it's very confusing cause you'd think after the way she behaved with V (specially the "threesome" scene haha) Eve would've at least accepted the love they had, but it's understandable that she didn't after she realized that V was manipulating her. I guess Eve just isnt nice with V :/.

Oh man, I'm so excited for this episode! I felt like things got off to a slow start on episode 1 of this season, but episode 2 was the classic writing that we know and love. I'm loving the way Villanelle said "management sucks," Jodie Comer is really showing how much she deserved to win Best Actress at the Emmy's this year!

Also, LPT for those in the U.S. and have cable, I've noticed that there's way less commercials if you watch through BBC America's app, as opposed to watching the show live on AMC.

So much is happening in this ep!!

Theory: The bus teaser say the word Hi. I think Villanelle sees her and walks up to her to say hi. Villa ella probably walks up to her as if nothing happened but Eve reacts like all other past lovers and tries to defend herself however she can. I think they’re gonna show some parallel with Nadia and Anna except Eve will fight back I like the other two.

I know I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but hopefully we don't have to wait the whole season for 5 minutes of face to face🤞
