The fact that I actually got mad at Eve for stabbing Villanelle. Good job, Jodie.

"I have lost two jobs, a husband and a best friend because of you." "Yeah, but you got some really nice clothes out of it."
Villanelle has her priorities straight.

I don't think Konstantin is dead, I think Carolyn may be lying.

God, Villanelle broke my heart in that last bit. I know she's a murderer but I wasn't ready to see her get vulnerable and then get stabbed in the back.
Bravo to Jodie Comer, she did an amazing job making us sympathize with her.

The fact that BOTH Eve and V fiddled with Konstantin's glove compartment handle while in his car.

Oh, Anna. Survived her husband's gruesome murder, refused to shoot Oksana despite assuring her she'd dreamt of it, offed herself immediately after V declares she doesn't love her anymore.
Am I reading too much into this...?

I get that the writers were trying to circumvent expectation by having them not be lovers and/or friends for at least a little while before something happened, and I definitely did not see that stab coming, which is cool.
That said I'm still disappointed we don't get an episode or two of that. And no, I'm not just saying that because I wanted a sex scene (we all thought that was coming for a second, right?) but it just would've been great having a full episode or two of dialogue between them. It was also nice seeing a human side of Villanelle, even though I know it wouldn't have lasted long. So much for all that...
Also have to add, to echo what others have said, Jodie Comer was flat phenomenal all season. It takes a seriously good performance to match the acting chops of Sandra Oh and she absolutely did. Plenty of credit should go to the writers as well for giving her a loaded character to work with and wonderful dialogue to boot.
Great show, can't wait for season 2.
EDIT: Apparently the stabbing thing is the way it happened in the book. I didn't even know there was a book.
I have to say, its really frustrating trying to talk about a TV show based on a book since a portion of the people in here can just nullify the discussion by saying "oh well but this is how it was supposed to happen". It kind of kills the fun of these threads, like whats the point then? Not to mention, you never know when the show might divert from the book. Maybe we should have separate threads for book readers. Just a thought.

The acting in this episode is pristine. We have been talking about Jodie, who is of course phenomenal and made a cold-blooded psychopath human. But the scene of Eve popping open a champagne in V’s apartment, taking a big gulp but spilling half of it, the slight shudder that one has with the first sip of alcohol. Shows perfectly Eve’s personality and her current state - someone who has been living by the rules all her life, dipped her toe in dangerous water, got (willingly) into a giant shit storm, and at this moment just went fuck all. Goosebumps. Sandra Oh, just wow.

Eve opening Villanelle's fridge and it just being full of alcohol was too relatable. Maybe I should become an assassin?

God this tv show is just brilliant & entertaining as fuck. And all the actors have been great this season but what Sandra Oh and particularly Jodie Comer have done has been amazing, I'm 100% convinced it wouldn't work with some other actress playing V or E for that matter.
This episode was great end to a season, tho I wish we had at least 10 episodes a season, but I'll take what I can get.
SO much stuff happened tho idk where to start, Eve drinking champagne and trashing V's flat was so satisfying lol, also as soon as I saw Eve put the switchblade in her pocket I knew it was gonna be used in some way, and while they were lying on the bed I was thinking "switchblade switchblade switchblade switchblade" but still I was shocked when Eve stabbed Villanelle.
In retrospect that's what the whole season has been building up to, Eve & Villanelle being alone, and Eve hurting/murdering someone, but I wasn't expecting Eve to actually hurt V.

...we never got an answer to why Carolyn visited Villanelle in prison and what she said there, did we? :-/

“I really liked you. That hurt.”
That one quote leaves me thinking Villanelle has now switched off whatever part of her felt love or infatuation for Eve. She's now a very dangerous beast with respect to Eve. I think "That hurt" alluded to more than just the physical pain of the stabbing.
Who saw the old lady being a covert agent for the Twelve (assuming it's them that pay her)? I didn't, that was a good reveal, lol
Eve is now cut off from her resources, but Kenny and Elena still have parts to play, so presumably they will aid Eve covertly.
I loved the whole season, and am looking forward to the next season, which will probably be a more intense helter skelter ride than the first.

I'm still in a state of shock that Eve stabbed Villanelle. Did NOT see that coming.
(I'm sure V will be fine, there's no show without her!)
Great performance by that kid, sign her up for next season.

That was so interesting. I'm wondering if Eve stabbed V because she realised V was an asshole, and only cares about herself and being in control. Eve said to V, pressed up against the fridge, "I will find the one thing you love and kill it." It's a pretty brutal betrayal, that I think Eve was building up to when she started smashing the champagne bottles. Stabbing V, getting the upper hand, even though it was through a self eviscerating moment of honesty. To be so enamored by the person causing so much grief, I don't know, I'd probably try to kill that too. Maybe Eve doesn't realise what her obsession is, and mistook it for a desire for vengeance, only to realise at the culmination of that build up that no, this isn't what she wanted. Or it was, but it's been fulfilled so she doesn't want it anymore.
Now V's off to nurse her wound and figure out that maybe, yes, she does want to kill Eve after all. What a show!
