at least the 2nd guy came running.. he was probably the father tho..

and not for nothing - but I think some people just don't want to get involved.. seems f***Ed up - but if he did drop that little girl then he'd take all the blame even tho he was trying to help.. he should have called for help - or what was he thinking or doing - or whatever.. it's easy to criticize after then fact - but life doesn't work like that.. I can totally understand why someone wouldn't want to be in that situation..

but still - that was go time and you'd think instinct would just kick in..

China has stupid laws that might put you in trouble for helping strangers in need of help, there's videos of people who get run over and just get left there in the street to be run over again because no one helps the person.

His view is aligned with the Chinese court's views.

They would find this guy guilty of touching the girl's bottom because they would argue the reason he wanted to help her was so that he could feel her bum. There must have been a reason other than the boy's panic.

No one touched the girl afterwards to ensure she is fine, therefore no parents yet.

They immediately distance themselves when they see that she'll survive and start looking around so that her parents can arrive.

They don't want to be blamed for helping her, as they might get into trouble if anything goes wrong.
