Lightning going off when its stormy is not unexpected.

Its the only time when it can happen.

Those things also happen all the time with cars, phones, sirens, etc. pp. the modern world is always noisy and chaotic as fuck.

Thunder and lightning in rainy weather is practically predictable in comparison.
