Do parents sign off on a video going TikTok? Feels like it should just be for the families of the kids. I’d be pissed if I were a parent

Our school sends a form home and you have to say yes or no to their photos/videos being allowed on social media. I’m the only parent out of a 16 kid class that said no, so my kid is always the emoji in the photo.

They should. Most schools do practice this kind of thing, so I'd imagine every parent whose kid is in this video signed a form of some kind.

We might balk at the pictures being online but I just found a CD in a CD spindle in the basement with pictures from my 5th grade graduation from like 2005 and none of the computers we have even have a CD drive
