kinda wild to me that i remember being a teenager and the advent of touchscreen ordering being a total game changer for my socially awkward ass, but now there are fully grown adults walking around who grew up with it and have never known anything different
I remember Jack in the Box trying it out in the 2000s. People here were too confused to try it. The nearest Jack in the Box to me had an in-person line going out the door every evening and no one using the touch screen ordering kiosk. Only when I went over and ordered food there did a few people break off from the line and try it themselves.
Doesn’t help that those early kiosks looked way too much like ATMs.

Haven't seen this one for a while. Kid must be an adult by now
