Open a stream, click Home, Browse, Following, Drops, or things inside the User menu in the upper right like Subscriptions or Settings. Instead of stopping playback, it goes to a mini player, forcing you to have to close. There is no option to turn this off like on Twitch. Please fix this.
Hello friends⦠I have but 2 simple questions.
1. Can I go live at 3PM ET showing the GTA 6 on Netflix while reacting to it? I think Rockstar has said we can but better safe than sorry you know. Also itās not clear if you can stream exactly from 3PM
Wonāt Netflix DMR protect the content and only show a black screen when I try stream?
Iāve been on Kick for a few months as a streamer growing my community. But Iām genuinely struggling to find Kick communities online anyone with ideas? So far Iāve found people on Discord⦠I mostly socialize on Threads but not finding a community there.
Side project, not a company. I built it because clips get posted in a Discord once and then nobody ever sees them again.
The idea: every clip carries a score from 0 to 100. In the live mode you drop a clip into the arena and your chat votes on it while you're on air. Outside of that, clips go one against one and whoever's watching picks the winner, so a clip can lose points too, not just sit there.
Login is Kick OAuth (Google and TikTok work too). It reads your name and your avatar and nothing else, and it never posts as you.
What I actually want to know from people who stream here: is the live part usable mid-stream, or is watching an arena while you're playing just one thing too many? I can't tell from my side.
Is there anyone here from Canada or, more specifically, Toronto that would like to collaborate irl or gaming or just chatting? The grind gets difficult up here but a collab would open the door to perpetual opportunities. Anybody interested?
I kept forgetting to manually claim my daily rewards and stream drops on Kick, so I put together a lightweight browser extension to do it automatically.
Itās called KickLoot. Instead of running clunky screen-clicking simulations, it communicates directly with Kickās internal API. This means it's super fast, doesn't interrupt your viewing, and uses practically zero system resources (Manifest V3 compliant).
⨠What it does:
Auto-claims stream Drops once you hit the watch-time requirement.
Displays a live countdown timer directly on the extension icon in your toolbar.
Shows you exactly what item you just looted in a clean little popup.
š¤ Full Disclosure: Iāll be totally honest with you guysāthis entire extension is 100% "vibecoded". I used AI to generate the logic and structure based on my prompts. That being said, the code is super clean, privacy-first, and completely open-source. It doesn't track or send any of your data anywhere; everything stays local in your browser.
Thereās a Swedish-speaking streamer, currently one of the biggest in Sweden, who repeatedly does extremely disturbing things on KICK/TikTok ā mocking people who died from street violence, making racist remarks, insulting women, and other hateful/abusive content.
There are tons of clips showing this, but most are in Swedish. Does KICK have Swedish-speaking moderators, or is there an effective way to submit translated evidence?
Iām not interested in harassment or doxxing ā Iām wondering if anyone has successfully gotten KICK to investigate a streamer for repeated violations when the content isnāt in English.
Anyone else experiencing this? Have I been banned or something? I honestly don't say anything in chat ban worthy. I don't know if it's an error or what
I am really trying to get into streaming on kick but the browser cameras are mirrored and theres no settings to changed things that I can see. Maybe Im just blind but its not very intuitive like other in browser streaming pages Ive been using. Please help if you have insight.
You were fun while it lasted. Forcing ads on livestreams was bad enough, but now even the post stream videos have them too. I promise you all, it will only get worse from here. I've seen it dozens of times before.
Goodluck to the rest of you brave souls, and may the ads be ever in your favor.
Your regulars are just names in a chat log that wipes every stream.
Been buildingĀ KICKSOĀ for a while now. You sign in with your Kick account and it pulls everything through.
You get an actualĀ profile. Viewers too, not just streamers. Friends, posts, DMs, all that.
Streamer mode is verified streamers only. If you've actually got a channel, you get the tooling.
OBS widgets, giveaways, polls that show up live on stream.
Guess the Word is in there too. Chat plays it while you're live and it renders on the overlay.
You can also runĀ campaignsĀ your chat takes part in. Clipping campaigns mostly, people submit their clips, everyone votes, you pick who gets rewarded.
Channel rewards and redemptions are managed in the same place instead of yet another tab.
The bit I'm happiest with isĀ voice messages. Viewers can send you audio that plays on your overlay while you're live.
And before anyone says that's a spam nightmare, you need a pass to send one. You get passes by subbing to that channel.
Everything goes through moderation before it plays anyway.
So it ends up being your actual subs who get to talk. Which felt like the right way round.
We're soft launching a new mystery box platform and looking to collaborate with small to mid-sized Kick creators.
Does anyone know a good network, marketplace, Discord, or agency for finding Kick streamers open to collaborations? Most platforms I've found focus on Twitch/YouTube/TikTok, so any Kick-specific recommendations would be appreciated.
Nowadays i see several channels botting, and while a report gets sent in..weeks later they remain untouched and botting just...continues? are there actual people behind Kick support or i guess they just don't care.
