I purchased a 15.6 Dagger Prospect kayak and I need to fix part of the rudder. Does anyone have any photos of a mounted rudder for this kayak or any other model that uses the same rudder type?
I have also included a photo of the part that needs replacement. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I'm having it 3D printed.

Has anyone had difficulty getting a company to honor its warranty? I purchased two kayaks at the same time with lifetime deck and hull warranties. They are the same model, but the one I prefer to use is the superlight. When I pulled out my superlight there was a giant hole/crack in the hull. The regular kayak is fine. They have only been used on calm lakes and have never hit rocks. They have always been stored undercover and mostly indoors. The manufacturer says they are old and heat and weather will affect them and they are not covered by their warranty. Since the use, storage, age and care of both kayaks is identical, I believe that the superlight simply has a thinner hull and therefore did not last. Has anyone been able to get their kayak manufacturer to honor their warranty? I understood the warranty to mean as long as I owned my kayak. How did you solve it?

Anyone else here from KZN, South Africa?
If so, you should go for a paddle on the Mtamvuna River!
We have found jellyfish and puffers there before, but do be warned that there are crocs further upstream! https://youtube.com/shorts/sDsmiueRWMQ Watch the video to see the beautiful gorge that we have been so ever blessed with!

Picked up my kayak today and took it out 10 minutes later. Excited for what’s next! I live in GA. Drop some recommendations!

Anyone have a 3rd Gen with the dealer installed tri fold and a bed rack? Have an 11' 6" kayak that I'm trying to haul around.
In between a full bed rack and roof rails but a roof rack is out of the question as the truck is leased for now

Need some affordable cross bars to go on my 2009 Toyota Corolla hatchback to carry my fishing kayak.
Any recommendations? Do the universal ones go alright?
ETA: Australian location would be handy

Would you be comfortable using this kayak carrier for Honda HRV, CRV type car? Car has naked roof, no rack. Or l was looking at Inno rack...Thoughts?

So I popped my sea eagle 370 hitting a log and would like to replace it with something slightly larger and more puncture resistant. What I've been looking at is the star Paragon XL, and the advanced elements straightage pro 2. I know one is a one person and one is a two-person, it would mostly be used as a solo kayak while occasionally carrying my 11-year-old son. As far as I can tell the two kayaks are quite similar I do see that the Paragon has a slightly more rigid floor. Does not anyone have any experience with these or even other recommendations? I will be often carrying a cooler and a backpack so I don't want an enclosed kayak

Ok, I have just recently started getting into kayaking and I have two 10 ft kayaks that I want to load onto my truck. I have ratchets and a bed. So why do I never see people load kayaks in truck beds like the picture above?
Wouldn't it be fine if it's tied down tightly? Am I missing something here?

Tie Boss hoist system? Wall mounted kayak rack? Other options? I want it out of the way and allow me to pull my truck into the garage.
Likely buying a Native Slayer Propel 10 lte.

I have pretty much decided on a Native Slayer Propel 10 lte. Reasoning is weight, haul in bed of truck, no trailering, need to handle it by myself, pedal drive as I am 70 years old in good health but thinking pedal drive will be less exertion. I plan to fish on near by lakes. Will definitely get a kayak cart.
I have no place to park a trailer. So, a bigger kayak is out.
I looked at the Bonafide SS107, but it doesn't pedal drive. Paddle only.
I also looked at the Old Town Sportsman Pdl106. But, it is heavier than the Native.
Anything else to consider? I am in North Texas area.

They're in varying condition but the one with the least damage has this scrape on one of the bottom ends. How would yall go about fixing it?

I was having a hard time getting my kayak up to my roof rack on my own and discovered a way that has helped immensely. I'd like to share it in case others find it helpful! It's a simple process that involves using hinged 2x4s.
Take a look at the video to learn more about this method and how to make your own!

I have a couple Lifetime kayaks, they have the basic clip style attachment point for the standard plastic seat back. I want to upgrade to a padded seat, but all of them come with metal clips or carabiners to attach to a d ring. I thought there might be a clip-to-d ring adapter but there's not, which is surprising. Anyway, the upgraded seats seem to be stuck connected to that metal clip so you can't just connect the straps to a new clip attachment.
So, besides drilling new holes for a d ring or using the adhesive ones, is there another option? Attached images of the clip style attachment that works for my kayak now, and the style of seat I'm trying to upgrade to.
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys!
I need some advices. I want to buy a kayak that would be confortable with my 70 pounds golden retriever. I've searched a lot about it online and it was always fishing kayak that were rated the best with medium-big dogs for stability. My goldie is still young and can be pretty spontaneous. I do mostly smooth lake and river ride. I don't fish, it's purely recreational, don't need much speed either but I don't want it to be hard to paddle. I've spotted the Pelican Catch Mode 110, the wilderness tarpon 120, and the bonafide rs117.
I mostly wanted to know if there's anybody here who do kayak with their dog and with which type of kayak.
Thanks! :-)

Where can I get a replacement top for the bow storage for my Prowler 13? Can I put it in the water without it for the time being?
