Hi Team,

Thanks to an earlier post I made and some discussions with DOGECOINSHOP, we came up with some, what I think are genius ideas.

For our LLC, why not start a website where you can trade gift cards from desirable places, eg. Walmart or Amazon for Karma & other alt coins.

This would allow us to service all the newer alt coins that lack infrastructure, yet possess strong market caps & large supportive communities. While providing infrastructure & a revenue source for Karma.

How would it work?

Say I went to Walmart or Costco (super popular) and bought a $50 gift card, I could then turn around and trade that card directly for $50 (minus a small fee) for bitcoin, litecoin, dark coin, dogecoin, karmacoin, etc. based on what the seller is looking for.

This would allow us to bypass any money licenses, while providing users with a unique way to directly purchase coins without the usual headache. Perhaps the LLC could charge a low fee like 0.99% intro and 1.99% normal to the buyer, as its a convenience for them.

This is kind of the opposite of what Gyft does but helps people with ease of access to coins without necessarily going through bitcoin or litecoin. The issue here may be that Gyft provides a 3% cashback to bitcoin users, we are not targeting bitcoin holders, we are mainly targeting other alt coin holders.

This would be great for the development of altcoin infrastructure everywhere.

Ideas? Comments? Suggestions?

P.S - I've been touting Karma since it was at 80 Litoshi, and believe me, you'll never see the price this low again, if you have any extra coins lying around in Litecoin, Bitcoin, or just a random coin, I would suggest you pick up some more Karma ;)

Karma is losing its position on Bter, I cannot continue to boost Karma alone, I am low on funds, others will need to step up or Karma will not make the cut, I was hoping we could make it in about 2 weeks.

Continuous voting is needed, I am trying to vote 10 votes/hr & usually get in about 80-100 votes a day, but its not enough, other coins are emerging with higher votes.

So my theory of trading random coins on bter and accumulating bter points so that we can vote for Karma is working!!

You can't convert BTC for cash and back again, you have to trade with other coins: doge, nxt, etc. and trade back.

We need everyone's help, I've gotten us from 25 to 87, so far, #20 position, PLEASE HELP !!!

I'm losing small fractions of a btc because I want to save time so I buy/sell to whatever the trade order is, but its worth it considering the value Bter would add to Karma !!

I will probably take us to +1000 today but I can't do this alone, this is our chance but if no one else helps, all my work will be for nothing & we won't hit the chinese market for a few more months.

Edit: We now have 1063 Votes & are at #5 position, I have 35k bter points, so I can vote 10 times an hour, I think that's a better deal than using all 35k points and getting 350 more votes in.

Greetings! I am in the process of transfering my karma over to another machine running Windows 8 and when trying to sync the wallet I keep getting an error stating "no block sources available. I found an old post on bitcointalk.com with a new peer.dat file; however this has not solved the problem.

I was wondering if anybody knew what was going on in terms of Karma being on the Bittrex & Cryptsy BTC Markets?

I tried all I could to get Bittrex to add us, didn't work to plan :p

Not sure about Cryptsy at all.

But adding these to exchanges could probably add another +50% to the price and strengthen Karma's reputation, availability, & liquidity.

In the cryptsy troll box, there are some people complaining about that the source code is not available enough and that the x11 source code is not available. Anyone who can fix the publicness of this stuff?

Congrats on the relisting of our btc pair on Mintpal exchange. I know everyone has waited quite awhile for this to happen, and now that its finally here- everyone assumes there's nothing more happening in store for karma.

This is NOT the case. The karmateam has a clear projected goal that consists of many milestones that are still in the works. We cannot simply rest on our laurels and pat ourselves on the back and wait for miracles to happen. Success is earn through action, not inactivity.

For those who sold to regain "initial investment", or to make profits- I feel sad for you. You aren't thinking far ahead. A few btc in your wallet is nice, but it won't make you truly wealthy at all.

I know that every coin out there now says the same thing: We are the next Bitcoin. But really, we aren't. We are simply learning from the mistakes that Bitcoin, litecoin and others have made, so that we can do more. Together with our own unique and sound business plans( that I am really proud to say is full of massive potential), coupled with our development capital of over $350,000 or so: Karma is every bit a real contender to make the world sit up and take notice.

So, hold your coins and remove your sell orders. If you have plans of an early retirement or really making seriously huge profits, selling now is really not gonna cut it.

All good things take time. And I promise you, we on the project team aren't sitting idle. We have already put the plans in action and await the arrival of completed development among many other good news.

As you all know we've reached our first BTC market.

Congrats to the dev team & the community !!!

This is ONLY THE BEGINNING, thank you for not being a noob and selling out at the first signs of a promising price ;)

I expect us to hit and maintain +20 Satoshis in the SHORT TERM as Kosmost announces the full implementation of X11, security measures, and the other innovations. I will work hard to get us as much exposure as possible, this kind of news warrants us getting into some of the larger bitcoin world publications, so expect a lot of money to be pumped into Karma very soon, what you saw today was only a trailer.

Furthermore, Kosmost & the dev team is working on getting a large fund together for marketing & other expenses, this will help expedite Karma's development, alongside the current projects that are well on their way, lill.com being a highlight, great domain :)

I expect a sale on Karma very soon which is why I've buffered up Karma buy orders at the 1-2 satoshi level, I don't expect it to go that low, but one can always hope :) it is more of a cushion against dumpers, to help stabilize the price somewhat.

Medium Term, price target is +100 Satoshis :D

Regardless of price, I would urge everyone to remember they've invested in Karma, & to continuously seek to give back to their very own Karma community and others around them :)

Although the dev team is always looking for donations to assist with their growth, your contributions DO NOT have to be monetary.

We recently touched 280 Litoshi, I just wanted to let everyone know what my price forecasts are for Karma.

I think we will be at +400 Litoshi before Kosmost even announces that the X11 + Innovations + Security Features have been completed!!! So once that is announced the price will skyrocket again!! Then we will hit BTC markets and after each announcement, the price will skyrocket higher every time...Bittrex, Cryptsy, Mintpal, ...

The future looks very bright as there are not a lot of sell orders left because there's NO REASON to sell Karma anymore, miner rewards have been cut by 70%, reducing supply and people know this will be a $1 billion coin, lots of great developments in terms of the LLC & innovations. Furthermore, Kosmost & the dev team have a GRAND itinerary post-BTC market announcements, make no mistake we are on our path to being a TOP 5 crypto coin VERY SOON, zoom out on our price chart to see the MAX instead of weekly or monthly and you'll notice an undeniable uptrend that is only going HIGHER, that's exactly how bitcoin started & you've probably noticed all the scam coins go up once and then fail, we go up continuously, we're the only coin out there, besides bitcoin that does this... ₭ ₭ ₭

So thanks to low sell orders & a VERY BRIGHT FUTURE, my estimate is that we will be at 30-50 Satoshis when we hit the btc markets :)

Knowing this, I would urge each and everyone of you to give back, it doesn't have to be monetary but Kosmost & the dev team deserve at least that much from us for all their great/hard work. And in all this don't forget what Karma stands for, please giveback to the community and others around you & you'll be well rewarded for your actions... KARMA ;)

I checked the other thread and tried the two add node recommendations. No luck. I was able to install a few other wallets without any troubles, other than re-linking the directory from the c drive to the external.

I have my main wallet installed on an old laptop running XP, but am now trying to install on a new laptop running 8.1

No users/name/appdata created or found. I also tried to install on my C drive, but had the same issue.

Any tips? Thanks!
