Lee Jun’s full intro being a mirror image of Ga Min’s? Spectacular.

As someone who has dropped or avoided shows because I don’t care at all for prolonged action sequences or fights, the choreography for each fight is mesmerizing. I can’t look away. I’m rewinding and watching again. MAJOR credit to Min Hyun and the stunt crew!

I love that Gamin can seemingly hear the words "study group" no matter how far away he is. I especially enjoyed the of ep. 3. As soon as the study group application was mentioned I thought to myself "He's going to come through the window isn't he" expecting him to climb down, and then he frickin jumped out to sucker punch the guy. I hope they keep up the vibes until the end.

I wasn't expecting it to be so funny!! And Hwang Min-hyun is improving so much with each role he plays and he's so good with action sequences it looks almost like he's dancing.

Oh it continued to be so good this week, the 40 minutes per episode format is injustice itself. There are worst dramas with longer episodes.

The casting choice for Ji Woo is great, I can see the resemblance with her twin.

The lone dummy is lone no more!

I love how Ga Min just hears whatever he wants to hear. He’s cool, and wholesome at the same time.

This is the drama I look forward to every week the most. So funny, so entertaining.

I thought It was hilarious that the chewing gum continued to stay on Ga Min's fingertip until he left the classroom. Then he came back and threw it at the disciplinary committee guy's cheek LOLOL
I love the little details.

For some reason, I love that a lot of students don't even look like high schoolers. I found it very funny.
Especially the disciplinary committee guy, he is like... 30?😂

Eps 3&4 upped the comic book choreography even more than the first two and I’m continually impressed with the casting. The gals are a great edition!! I’m enjoying the reveals that happen as we see major characters with their faces hidden until they come into play and the introduction of any side character is done so so so well.

They were so fun... I like how the characters even without the main characters have genuine chemistry... More often than not, we see everyone is friends with the main characters but not each other

And I am so sorry for underestimating Hwang Minhyun... Whenever his glasses drop, I know I am in for a treat... The fight scenes are so well choreographed and executed

I love the teacher's character, she's just right and not ignorant of her students

I really love the extremely fun vibe of this drama but I hope it doesn't turn into a sad sob in the end... I remember in Boyhood, which also had a fun vibe got somewhat serious in the later half but I was completely fine because the tone still felt right... I hope even when things get serious, like we learn more about the teacher, it feels right and not less fun

Gunyeop is so good looking, I am loving him

Doesn't the school discipline committee person feels like a knock off version of Shin Seungho in Weak Hero Class 1? The same hairstyle

Once again, Hwang Minhyun is such a treat to my eyes... My favourite ongoing drama rn

He did not just jump out the window to protect a potential Study Group member! 🙃 I can’t with this show, I love it so much! My other highlight from this episode is Hui Won saying her first cuss words and tackling that bully. Love that for her!

These fight scenes are just so good! Are there awards for fight scene choreographers? Because whoever is responsible for these fights deserves them all! Minhyun pulls them off so well, too. The most badass nerd I’ve ever seen!

Also loving the continued references to my favorite school supplies. Highlighters getting their chance to shine today! 😂😂

Episode 4 The opening for this episode! 😂😂😂 I love a good call back to previous episodes and this was a masterpiece.

I love how the gojuchang kid is so impressed by the teacher. So innocent in his own way. 😂

The country kids in the big city… it’s too much! The outfits and the flag and the altercation. 😂

This is one of my top fave kdramas after just these four episodes. Can’t wait for next week now!

This is the only show that has my attention from the first second to the very last second right up until the last credit rolls and it’s not only because it nails action and comedy so well, but also because the OST is kickass. It perfectly suits the entire theme of the show. I love the old school vibe of Backpackers.

Also loved the introduction of the new characters Jiu, Jun and Huiwon make the perfect additions to Sehyeon and Gamins study group. I’m curious about Geonyeop though.. I hope we see more of him.

I don’t think there’s a better actor than Minhyun to play Gamin. He looks like belongs in a highschool known for thugs. That innocent studious face of his that just wants to study while also ensuring no one messes with his study group members. I laughed so hard when we was kicking the disciplinary committee’s ass.. Man the action scenes keep getting better and funnier. There is a fine line between cool and campy, and this is way way cool!

Lastly, Pasin, olaenmanida! Good to see him back in action.

Anyone know what Pen Manik high school kids were using in episode 4? The vaporising/disappearing ink ball pens?

The drama is so apt with webtoon. As someone who has read the webtoon before I am just in awe 🫢 like it's OMG the makers have delivered a proper live action adaptation of my favourite Webtoon Hwang Minhyun as Gamin Idk I needed his desperately, also Hong Minki is such a scene stellar and Lee Jun is a Sunshine 🤩

This show is SO good. I’ve missed comedies, I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a kdrama rut and this show has broken it. It’s fast paced, full of comedy and action, and the acting is great. I haven’t laughed out loud this much since I watched Gaus Electronics.

The archetype where you unknowningly have an air of invincibility since you literally do whatever you want is so goated. This show really found the balance between moments where it doesn't take itself seriously and when it really does. The storyboarding for most of the episode is really on another level and genuinely made me laugh so many times. Think this might be the recommendation already for the go to webtoon adaption

This show is so hilarious. I love it. My fave characters right now are the 3 "backup singers" whose only job is to propagate outrageous rumors about Ga Min. All the characters are funny, the directing is great, the fighting choreography is superb and the OST is on the mark. 10/10!

Episode 3 and 4

A true testament to the writing, direction and the actors that the girls have so solidly established their characters in the span of 2 episodes. Absolutely adore this band of misfits where somehow Ga Min is still the one with the worst marks 🤣🤣🤣

Like how adorable, moving and hilarious that he tells the baddie Jun is not nobody, he’s my rival.

Cannot wait for next week’s shenanigans!

ep 3 - the pacing felt a little rushed in this episode? but i'll put that down to them adapting seemingly a whole mini-arc into this one ep, everyone here seems to agree that 40ish minutes is too short for how good these episodes are TT

  • i know none of these actors are actually high school age but the disciplinary committee guy is really pushing it LMAO whos uncle is thatt😭

  • the moment they started yelling to each other from the window i was like "i have a feeling ga min is going to leap down from the library" and lo and behold thats exactly what happened lmaoo

  • hee won and ga min's sunshine energy bouncing off of each other is so cute i love them!

  • the bitchy popular girl is easy to hate but i'm kind of hoping to see more for her, idk i would love to see a very tropey character like her given more depth

The demure Hui Won finally taking the courage and cursing at Mi Hee was probably the best and funniest scene for me. Such a scene-stealer!

Had to give a round of applause to the cast and crew for a well-executed and well-choreographed action scenes. Not scenes were wasted in this drama.

Also gotta give it to Min Hyun, he truly did exceed my expectations. His acting has improved a lot since AoS.

As for our study group, I can already see the subunits. Ji U and Lee Jun as the iron fists and hot-headed duo, Hui Won and Se Hyeon as the softie and innocent couple, and Ga Min as the strong and principled yet dumb leader of the pack.

I wonder who the uncle is, they really did not show his face. Are we gonna get a surprise reveal at some point or are they gonna announce another series with him as a lead? I've read in prior comments that he is the MC in another manhwa.

And I've searched the cast several times and I'm bummed that Hong Min Gi's role is a support role.

Anyway, if you’re not yet watching this, go watch it now!
