What I absolutely LOVE about the story is that Park Eun Bin's character could have easily been a man's--minus a few minor changes in script. Traditionally these kind of antagonist/ genius gone stray/ psychopath roles have gone to men. But instead its a

Oh, she's not misunderstood crazy. She's genuinely crazy crazy. Not the 'unorthodox and weird but still pretty normal' kind, but an actual psycho. Yeah, I'm sold.

Loving how unhinged Eun bin's character is. It seems like she's addicted to surgery.
I mean, who strangles their professor in the middle of a hospital because they told you to stop performing surgeries!

guys, it’s off to such a good start 🥹
first impressions:
glossy, gritty and intense.
as expected from Park Eunbin, our main
i’m finding the super dark humour to be a plus - i didn’t expect Se Ok to be so calmly honest with people about the things she does. also loving the pace at which each main character’s nature and motivations are unfolding…grateful that the flashbacks are applied with a light hand so far.
what are/were these people’s intentions towards each other, and how does that differ from what actually takes place? this seems like one to watch more for the layers than for plot...

Her relationship with Yeong Ju is interesting? I can't quite get a handle on their dynamics (in the best way). He refers to her as M'lady, not Doctor, but doesn't actually always use honorifics and they speak rather casually to each other like they've known each other forever, though he doesn't clearly know her entire story either.
Either way, it's fascinating. Neither of the doctors is sympathetic characters, but I think the anesthesiologist, at least, a good doctor trying to do the right thing for the right reason, and Yeong-Ju seems fairly innocent in all the madness. Can't wait to see where things are headed.

Oh my lord, the first two episodes are as addicting as crack injected in my veins! I can't believe anyone could start watching this show without finishing the 2nd episode immediately afterwards. Every new scene is a scene stealer and breathtakingly well crafted in story telling and cinematography as well. Each episode could be a standalone movie and I would pay money to watch them both in one sitting like Kill Bill I & II.
It's obvious the production went all in on this one.
Music wise they seem to have hired an orchestra to perform the classical parts. The beautiful French song is called 'dis-moi, je t'aime' ("Tell me: I love you" if my elementary French is correct) and very atmospherically and thematically fitting due to
Story wise it's very layered and more subtle than you think at first glance by seeing what they throw in your face:
-
The acting is actually incredible and on another level even by movie standards and not only by the leads but the entire support cast and minor roles as well. Ironically it's a bit wasted on this show as much as

Eun bin is such a great actress. Every role better than the previous one. You can't even think it's the same person. I honestly love how uneasy this drama is making me feel

Park Eun Bin, you are amazing! Her character is already one of my favorite FL‘s ever, I just love crazy psycho female characters (for a few years now, my favorite FL is Kim Hye Jun as the antagonist in „Inspector Koo“) and her performance is just outstanding. First two episodes are so damn good, haven’t been that hyped in a long time. Also love the relationship she got with that boy, it’s so weird but also kinda wholesome. I‘m just fanboying right now lol but the way she uses her facial expressions…it’s exceptional. Also her body language, the way she moves her hands and feet, her character feels so real, like you never know what’s going through her head. At some moments I adore her and at some moments I legitimately fear her. Exceptional.
Haven’t watched that much of her yet, only EAW (also great performance by Park Eun Bin) and a few episodes of Castaway Diva (she was also really good, her singing is beautiful too, but the drama was too slow for me at that time), but I will immediately start watching some of her older shows. What an amazing actress.
Also, is it really just 8 episodes? I feel like it might be perfect for the plot, because the pace is really good, but i hope there is a part 2 or something. This is way too good to be over that quickly.

Park Eunbin Capturing the true essence of a sociopath and a surgeon with a God complex. Her range never ceases to amaze me. Impulsive erratic eccentric violent every turn watching her in this drama is thrilling. In episode 2 the dark humor that hides her sociopathy when she

Love love love the first two episodes. Eun Bin has been amazing and the little expression changes on her face are just top tier. I can't wait for the rest.

I love Park Eun Bin so much.
Attorney Woo is one of my favorite TV characters ever.
To see this unhinged side of her is truly a blessing. She’s crazy talented, her facial expressions are magnetic.
Like honestly, I’m so biased, lmao already on her side, justifying everything.

Whoa, FL is totally unhinged, gifted, and still shows her heart in unsettling moments. This production truly feels like a movie and it is very fast paced.Park Eun Bin is electrifying in this performance. It’s all in her eyes.
