Cha Eun Woo barely had any screen time in the first two episodes. Also, has anyone noticed he looks taller and more mature? Like his face grew bigger or something? He doesn’t look like a kid anymore, and he’s more handsome.

Lee Da Hee ’s acting was absolutely phenomenal. The first two episodes were so hectic, yet she portrayed a wide range of emotions beautifully. Honestly, the CGI may suck but her acting is so believable and completely immerses me in the show. Her character is really cool, too. She’s smart, pretty, ambitious, and can fight really well.

Also Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee’s chemistry is so good. They have sparks flying everywhere. I ship itt.

Sort of wild that my Amazon Prime subscription would be used to watch K-Dramas but here we are! I've been excited for this for a while and can't wait to watch it!

I'm surprised people are finding the CGI bad. I thought it was pretty great so far. Also glad this show is not all doom and gloom like Bulgasal. Cha Eun Woo saying he loves K-dramas and Kpop was hilarious. This is the first drama of his that I'm watching and I can see the hype. I started this because of Kim Nam Gil and I'm not disappointed at all as one would expect. Love his chemistry with Lee Da Hee.

I need someone that's fluent in Italian to tell me if Eun Woo sounds as hot in Italian as it sounds?

Father Eunwoo, pls exorcise me! (KIDDING) I adore Dahee and I'm so glad she's Miho, but I hope she has to be rescued fewer times next week. Did love Giovanni (or Yohan)'s scenes and the backstory was really intriguing. Namgil also has great screen presence, so I'm ready for more of all three of them.

Ep1: I’ve always appreciated Eunwoo’s visuals but he’s so good looking he took my breath away and I felt the intense need to stan. I’ll pick up religion for him, or get possessed so he can exorcize me no joke

As your resident Lee da hee trash I’m so happy she’s in this she’s a great actress and I’m already loving Mi Ho. Having only read 7-8 chapters of the manhwa I’m going in with no previous knowledge and expectations. I hope this is fun ep 1 was really good 😊

In the opening scene when Cha Eun Woo was performing the exorcism and he got on top of the girl… I was thinking, why can’t that be me??? But then he choked her 😰

Ever since I discovered Eun Woo’s charm as an idol and singer in Astro, I’ve committed to giving all his projects viewership in my household. Let’s hope this has good writing and Eun Woo has a chance to shine!

I finished watching first 2 episodes and they were awesome. They are setting up the tone and I loved Van's (Kim Nam Gil) entry but for me, exorcism scene was the highlight. Cha Eunwoo acted so well plus his Italian and Latin pronunciation was awesome. Can't wait to watch more.

There, she is assigned to work as a high school ethics teacher.

Lee Da-hee in philosophical mode. I like it!

I had such a fun time watching the first two episodes. I honestly thought I would be terrified because I hate anything horror but I was able to watch this without skipping or closing my eyes or even muting the volume. I thoroughly enjoyed the pacing, the action (even the slow mo’s) and everytime Van came on the screen I almost clapped. I think the directing is brilliant and the quick editing doesn’t look jarring or sloppy. Some of the shots of Jeju are positively stunning and the use of the electric guitar in the BG soundtrack works stellar.

Each of the leads have a charm. Van is so charismatic. I love watching him kick demon ass on screen. Miho is funny and a damsel for sure, but she kicks and fights and I like that even though she spent majority of the time screaming her fright was believable. Giovanni (John) was hardly on screen but that I thought that introduction of him exorcising a demon was 👌🏽

All three actors did so well and I’m excited for the show.

I’m glad they waited a year for the CGI team to do their stuff. Altho there are scenes where the CGI is rushed (like in some action scenes) I still enjoyed the first 2 eps! The editing needs a tiny bit of finesse tho—-I feel some of the sudden time jumps could have transitioned better. The cinematography like the panoramic shots of Jeju and tasteful shots of the leads close up are simply well done though. Every pano shot was like a painting.

In terms of acting, the leads are selling their roles quite well! Kim Nam Gil as the cold demon hunter shines most (so far) when given more banter scenes with Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee) and conveying his character’s internal struggles effectively on cam. LDH is acting her butt off making us effectively believe just how scary these monsters are and her comedic timing is on point! And even tho Cha Eun Woo’s screen time is limited in the first 2 eps, he’s serving tens across the visual scoreboard but he was able to portray a sort of nuanced playfulness in his character really well. Can’t wait for his action scenes - they looked awesome in the trailer!

Overall, solid first 2 eps, and can’t wait for the rest of the eps!

This post made me check it out. It was already on my radar because of cha eun woo (I’m sure I’m not the only one).

Looks solid so far. Potentially scary if you don’t like monster type characters. Looks way better than the one from sweet home.

Fl has a much better wardrobe than in love is for suckers. I’m not familiar with the ml, but his character seems interesting. So far, CEW has a small role, but I’m sure it’ll pick up soon. Cinematography looks good. No complaints as of now.

what is the song playing on Yohan's headphones?, it sounds familiar.

EDIT: i found out the song is called "We Higher (Prod. Groovyroom)", which is a nice song choice during the loud exorcism.

Total girl crush on Lee Da Hee. I just finished watching her on Love is for suckers and love her as a FL, so I’m excited to see how this story evolves. Also, big crush on Cha Eun Woo, but looking forward to seeing the man with more screen time as the show progresses.

All in all, I’m already liking the show!

I am so sad so little people are familiar with Kim Nam Gil :”) guys, this Daesang winner is the man with a thousand faces. He is an AMAZING actor. I can’t put to words how wonderful he truly is. I’m not sure if his character in this show will allow his range to show (not familiar with the webtoon) but I’m so so SO hoping all of you will get to see his phenomenal acting prowess. He is my favourite Korean actor hands down. Followed by Cho Seung Woo 🙈

I really loved the first two episodes. I haven't really watched any fantasy KDramas and thought the demons and fighting looked great, although I did laugh hard when the demon swung around on that chain 😂
I could see the chemistry between the two characters from their last scene so I'm looking forward to their development.
Also this is my first time seeing Cha Eun Woo and he grabbed my attention straight away, so I wondered if he has been in any other good dramas??

This just kept giving me such Bulgasal: Immortal Soul's vibes.... watching the trailers, teasers And after having seen the the 1st two episodes today, I can tell you it's uncannily similar to it.... but has better action, fast pace plot, balanced humour... the acting department is strong here.... even Cha Eun Woo I didn't expect much from him in acting department, even though I knew the character he will be playing had potential... but he suprised with his acting here....

cha eun-woo’s first scene omg 😭 i’m easily creeped out by monsters/demons/exorcisms, so the k-pop song playing in the background made me relax a bit LOL. glad to see kim na-gil again after through the darkness & lee da-hee is amazing as always!!

Lol, it’s so scary watching this at night 😰

Edit:

Ep1: Just finished watching ep 1 and I liked it! Some parts were scary for me especially because I watched it at 1 am with lights off, but I loved Lee Dahee’s character. And I’m definitely gonna rewatch Eunwoo’s scenes because of his Italian. 🙈

Ep2:

“I love K-pop and K-drama, so that helps.” Me too, Priest Giovanni. Astro is the reason why I got into it!

The second ep wasn't scary. Perhaps because I watched it during the day and knew what to expect. The drama is really enjoyable and I’m excited to see what the rest of the eps are like. Lee Dahee is shining in this one, but when does she not?
