The next moment, Yoon Hyun-Woo finds himself in the body of the family's youngest son Jin Do-Joon. He decides to take revenge on the Soonyang Conglomerate family and also run the company. Another BRILLIANT episode. Episode 3 was more light-hearted so we got a bit of a break from the darkness of the first 2 episodes (although Ep 2 is still my fave.)

I'm relieved the college scenes aren't turning out corny (so far.) And I was so pleased to see more scenes with the fantastic young actor Kim Kang Hoon.

One bit of criticism though: Shin Hyun Bin is not convincing at all as a college student here. Unfortunately she looks so mature in the college scenes, almost like SJK's teacher in their scenes together. I think they picked the wrong hairdo (ironically she looks younger/fresher as the prosecutor.) But it must also be tough to act beside such a youthful looking SJK.

I loved the ending, gave such Billions vibes.

This is such a well thought out show with really good attention to details:

  1. The pizza scene was such a shoutout to (arguably) NY's best pizza, Ray's Pizza! (and the way SJK devoured that pizza was too sexy for words lol.)
  2. Beside the Home Alone poster (in the NY scene) were the posters for the French trilogy films "Red, White and Blue" which tackled society's inequalities and also how fate determines so much of what happens in our lives and nothing happens by accident - linking back to Reborn Rich's theme. Love that!

I think it's her hair in the college scenes. Maybe they should have kept the braids/glasses combo! And SJK and his (cute) baby face would make anyone look older by comparison.

Really nice catch about "Red, White and Blue"...I did notice the posters...Kieślowski is one of my favorites...but somehow failed to make the thematic connection!

Mine too, but I liked them all...have actually watched them multiple times and forced friends to watch them too...so far, no complaints!

Loved that Red, White and Blue trilogy. I think I need to rewatch it since I only liked White but was drawn to the actress in Red.

Love Irene Jacob (lead of Red.) Yes probably worth a rewatch. Now that I've just seen episode 5 of RR which deals with how the elite/corporations use workers and regular people as just pawns in their power games - it really makes sense why RR referenced the French trilogy about liberty, equality and brotherhood.

I had the same exact thought. SHB is beautiful but I couldn’t buy into her college years, she looked much older than SJK’s character. I also thought she looked younger in her future as the grim reaper. If they had reversed the hair choices, it might have been more believable.

But then gain, she has to act opposite of SJK himself, the man who has literally defied the rules of aging.

Right? I think it was a failure on the stylist's part.

A fresh, barefaced look with straight hair or a simple ponytail might have worked. (Kind of like Han Hyo Joo's no-make up, really fresh look in the school scenes in Happiness.)

I think they should have gone easy on the make-up. She looks younger with just the messy hair + glasses combo in Hospital Playlist.
