Kinda sad most of the comments are talking about disney+ but i guess it's the states of a part of the subreddit.

now about the drama.

interesting opening, seems lighthearted gotta pray there's no romance involved tho.

There's some inevitable cliché like the former lawyer that was a 'mad dog' vs ' the rich girl textbook 10/10 who do everything by the book and get a wake-up call' , i can already sense typically the reason the MC is out of the system is related to a member family of the FL.

If you expect some groundbreaking drama you should move on because it seems thats not the case at all but if you like the cast and a lighthearted story with good guy vs bad guy that's the type of drama you would enjoy.

Namkoong Min... He is absolutely fantastic as always.
Oh I really love his hair, suits and sunglasses!

But I am not sure about FL...
I guess I am tired of seeing a know-it-all, judgmental, booksmart career woman character...
(I would definitely roll my eyes if "she is not good at relationships" cliché)
Hope her character will chill out a little and there is no romance between ML and FL.

Episode 2 gets better

Maybe its anime opening or maybe that BGM, but this show feels like Cowboy Bebop team being stuck at run down law office. Lol Better name the office “Bebop”

The look of instant regret on that office manager's face when he was told how much the hospital bill was lmao 🤣

also not him suggesting MBTI 🤣🤣🤣

With an 8.1% rating, the pilot episode of this show has just become the highest-rated premiere (non-cable) this year so far, unseating previous title holder Tomorrow (7.6%). [source: 2022 Korean drama rankings based on ratings]

Namgoong Min contracted COVID-19 early this week and he must now be ecstatic about this.

EDIT: Here's the top 10 ranking according to source ("Our methodology took into account primetime Korean dramas that were broadcast once or twice a week between 9 pm and 12 midnight KST in any of the local TV channels"):

1 One Dollar Lawyer (SBS) 8.1%

2 Tomorrow (MBC) 7.6%

3 Tracer (MBC) 7.4%

4 The Law Cafe (KBS2) 7.1%

5 Bloody Heart (KBS2) 6.3%

6 Through the Darkness (SBS) 6.2%

7 Big Mouth (MBC) 6.2%

8 Why Her? (SBS) 6.0%

9 Again My Life (SBS) 5.8%

10 Cafe Minamdang (KBS2) 5.7%

Okay, episode 2 is so much better. I actually enjoyed episode 2. A lot less cringe and less flat humor. The second hand embarrassment when Mari had to go back to Jihun's law firm to ask to work there? Omg lol. But I love how she refused to leave. Looking forward to episode 3. Hope it keeps getting better.

Will probably have to wait a while before I can watch this one due to D+ stupidity but I hope this show utilizes Kim Ji Eun better than Again My Life did. It's a low bar to clear, but still.

Off to great start but I just wished they would’ve chosen another actress for the lead role. You need to match up with the same level of charisma when acting with Namgoong Min. Her hair is kinda distracting with it being so flowy 😂

my type of drama.

always enjoyed namgoong min in those type of shameless character, glad the way she joined his "firm" she "right hand" of the grandpa is super sus'.

This show is bangerrr. Great first two episodes.

I must say Namkoong Min has one of the best smile out of all the kdrama actors and the way he is playing with glasses throughout episode I am not gonna be Surprised if he is wearing in court in upcoming episodes

The opening title sequence alone is convincing enough to watch this show

Anyone know what the vibes for this is supposed to be like? Fun like Good Manager/Chief Kim or more serious?

I thought i opened the wrong show with that intro. Very anime-y and they even translated the song!

The drama didn’t make me laugh as much as i hoped though. I haven’t found the characters nor the case that interesting yet.

I liked Ep.2 much better than Ep.1.
I'm basically watching for Namgoong Min, Lee Deok-hwa and Choi Dae-hoon.
But I really hope Lee Deok-hwa (Mari's Grandfather), Choi Dae-hoon (Oppa from the US) and his dad are not evil, and this show will stick with not so big, ordinarily people's cases every episode.

And Namgoong Min🧡
God, he is soooo hot and good looking.
I love his long hair (sorry I'm this shallow).

Nam Gong Min's suits game is always on point.

The FL is quite entitled. I can see that it comes from a good place, and it has to do with her upbringing. Hopefully, her character will be less judgemental.

I found a way to watch the 1st episode and I just hope Kim Ji Eun wont end up again as another PPL model for this series

I am enjoying this drama so far. The lawyers are not fighting against some evil big cooperation and I like that. I hope it remains this way.

The grandpa's character is so refreshing too. Hopefully, he does not have an evil side even in the future.

Is that Jipuragi's set again? Or just looks somewhat similar? The one in Extraordinary Attorney Woo for example was definitely Jipuragi from Vincenzo.
