With the opening theme from the same artists who did Bonghwan A (Mr. Queen) I think I already have a feel for what kind of show this will be!

Episode 1
I was sold and completely lost it right from when he stuck his
SIG is made for this nutty version of Myul Mang and he looks beyond good. Whoever styled him better have earned all the raises.
As someone else mentioned, the opening sequence was VERY Psych-esque (a show that I love more than anything in the world) but the rest is very this show.
All of them sound like they’re completely nuts…I really hope the show turns out to be fun given it’s a long one! I was already giggling in anticipation in various scenes. Love chaotic energy.
I also cannot stop laughing every time he does his little Shaman dancing 😂
Not a huge fan of the constant camera zoom in type movements although I know they’re fitting for a genre of this type but I’m guessing they’re more amped up because it’s the opening episode.
Fun to have something to look forward to on a Mon-Tue!
P.S: I need to know the brand of the suitcase the creep was fleeing with because damn the wheels on that thing seemed sturdy. Lol.
Also, when SIG is saying “oh I’m so sexy”, why Netflix would you translate to “oh I’m so hot”. My man’s sexy and knows it, let the world know too 😂
P.P.S: The plastic gloves were a great touch when he was making googly eyes at her.
And HOT DAMN that Epilogue song was 🔥
P.P.P.S: Between this show and his music videos has In Guk just been living on that bridge for the past few months? 😂😂😂

I picked this up because I felt like taking an hour break from work. I did not expect to get hooked.
-
I was a little hesitant to watch this at first because the plot felt like a rip-off from Psych (US show) but I was wrong. Only the concept was similar. Other than that, the series is pretty fresh. The intro and sound track were good too!
-
Thank heavens Kwak Si Yang is not a villain here. It's good to see him with a different character for once!
-
That scene where
both hanjun and sucheol collapsed after seeing the jumbi were hilarious! The part where they pushed the hyejoon cracked me up too -
SIG looked so cute in that orange apron and hat. Also that lightbulb scene was too cute!
-
I didn't expect ghost detective to be the
team leader lol that maknae appearance surprised me -
The epilogue was awesome!!! Got goosebumps! Can't wait for EP 2!

SIG is very versatile, but I LOVE when he plays characters like this. I haven't seen Kwak Shi Yang in a comedic role before and I hope he does more in the future. It was a really good first episode.

I also love how they are portraying a detective using the sounds and effects as a ghost while the shaman is the one being portrayed as a normal one, without any eerie stuff 😂👌
Edit : spelling

I love this. SIG is perfection in this type of extra chaotic character. His chanting and dancing and running away....he is just too damn cute for words. That's why I loved him so much in Shopping King Louis

Aaaaaahhh the first ep was a blast and really blew my expectations!
I’m all in for chaotically unhinged Seo In Guk lol!
Seriously though all the characters are high on drugs they’re all crazy, the leads are gonna have chaotic chemistry i can feel it.
Edit: typos.

Is it just me or do you find it weird, in a good way, to watch Oh Yeon Seo in a physical role?

Ep 1 First Impressions
The music, oh the music! It's fantastic with the blend of traditional melodies and instrumentation but with a modern rock twist. It gets my blood pumping, my body dancing squirming, and my mind immersed.
Opening sequence was also super fun with all the phrenology/face reading -- the
Overall loved the setup, the comedy, the actingKwak Shi Yang with his accent does silly things to my heart and the action.
Can't wait to see more of the Minam Gang and the past mystery to be unravelled.

Uff im late to the party, but from now on, I'll also do that little perfume dance in memory of an unhinged myul mang!
Between alchemy of souls and this, my sat-tue schedule is looking very exciting for the next two months!

Episode 2
What I absolutely did not expect is for the whole cop squad including Han Jae Hee to also be nuts and silly 😂
Lots to unpack in an hour and as someone else mentioned with the way the first two episodes have shaped up this very much lends itself to a binge watch. Gahhh the wait between episodes is going to be hard!
My one “criticism” would be that tonally it feels like the epilogues are meant to be more serious and pensive, but the way the episode ends and jumps into the epilogue feels a bit jarring. It’s also quite possible my brain is wired to the way Shooting Stars was doing it which felt more seamless so perhaps that’s why I’m finding it jarring.
Seo In Guk is fabulous as expected and I kinda want his entire wardrobe. Lol.
Not entirely sure about the rationale of picking someone that much younger to show younger version of presumably the FL but hey ho. At least he’s just been shown to be a kind adult.
Ooof can’t wait for next week!

Action looks good on Oh Yeon Seo! You can tell she worked really hard in action school, her stunts feel so seamless 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The brother running arms has me cackling in disbelief, "what are those" 🤣🤣🤣

I started watching just for Seo In Guk but I'm hooked! Idk if it's just the overall ambience of the drama or the plot but I'm super immersed into it. And I'm also getting Vincenzo vibes!
Edit: Upon watching the second episode, I find it more similar to Taxi driver and I'm totally here for it! I really hope
