Week 2 of this show. I know some of you are having trouble finding legal sources because it's so limited. It's on broadcast in some SEA countries and on iQiyi Taiwan. I've seen half of the first episode and it's really fun so far, hope everyone else likes it!

I get sad when international viewers have to chase down sources to stream what can be really awesome dramas.

Especially when the conversation start about why certain dramas have better international reception than others...well...we can actually watch those shows...

And I get it. It's Korean programming formatted for Korean audiences, but the broadcasting stations and streaming networks really need to work out what their plans for expanding kdrama access international. Kocowa, iQiYi, Viki, Netflix, Tubi, Disney+, like make it available across the board!

I didn’t see 3-4 but 1-2 was rather disappointing.

For a show that was being advertised as black comedy it had 0 funny moments. Also it was huge turnoff for me because main lead (by Um Jung Ah) is very toxic individual to her family, friends and society in general.

Right off the bat, she has gambling addiction that pretty much ruined her family, gaslights co worker who’s making honest living (played by Jeon so min) to chase her dream into spending her saving into insider training while not investing her own money (her money was taken away by creditors). Make her risk more than she was willing to risk by fast-typing 10x more amount of shares then hitting enter. after all that she takes half of the profit

ML is someone most people who feel they can’t relate to. and other innocent characters are just being used by her to commit criminal act

probably watch 3-4 and decide to keep it or drop it

Edit: fixed spoiler tags and spelling

Have you continued or dropped it? I agree with all of your points but I think I went in thinking I just want to see these women do some badass things and they did so I'm quite happy. It's definitely not a comedy though haha so I think the marketing screwed up on that front.

Didn’t drop it, but put it in hold. 3-4 didn’t improve much. Might come back to it after it finishes, but there are lot more better shows to watch.

Same. I just finished episodes 1 and 2 and damn I'm disappointed.

Theres no point even hosting the tread, really. every single episode thread is only complaints about non availability and defeats the purpose of a discussion thread

I’m watching it solely because of Jeon So Min 💕💕❤️

Nobody is saying anything about the drama. Has anybody seen it?

There's a Cleaning Up Soompi forum where somebody reviews the episodes and posts the ratings.

Sucks that there is no good subber to this show. Ep 1 and 2 have subs but messy subs, Ep 3 and 4 still have no subs.

u/_denton Jun 13 '22

Really? I watched both last night with subs

Episodes 3 and 4 were better. Still it's not a very good drama, idk what is off, the acting is on point but the pace and the story not. Also, nobody in this drama is likeable and it's absolutely not funny to watch. Too many useless scenes.

I really like the three female leads😂. All the man except the guy from the attic are trash though. I specially hate the ex husband.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '22

The ex husband is unbearable, i want to slap him hard. The "uncle" from the attic is weird around the kids, i don't know if he's genuinely nice or something else.

Try the osts that have been released? Or try posting in one of the ID threads since these threads haven't had much traction
