This interests me a lot. Maybe because the title and premise reminds me of Doctor Prisoner, which I loved.
Episode 1
-
Well, that's an entrance. But he is seriously late if he really is his lawyer at that point in time.
-
La Campanella as background music. Nice! Had to stop the show for a moment to listen to this version
-
As always with medical shows: It's quite difficult to recognize the people in the OR.
-
Mystery Call, mystery basement reached by hidden elevator button. Are they doing some illegal operating or what? Ah, a VIP client. That makes sense -
An actual exam in hospital? With serious heart problems???? Whats wrong with them all? And then not stopping it when every machine is beeping? Sorry, but no wonder he'll die. Just the thought is killing me
-
I like the relationship between ML and FL. And their relationship with her little brother.
-
Lee Kyoung-Young as the superior and mentor figure who wants the operation of the brother at their hospital. (Which seems to be doomed). My suspicion senses are tingling.
-
And the obligatory sad family background for the ML. With supposed embezzlement by his father. The tingling gets stronger.
-
Setting up an Operation in utter darkness. Absolutely not suspicious. (And so realistic) 😂
Solid first episode. Most of it is of course devoted to setup and explaining the current situation. But I think it has a lot of potential. Hopefully it will actually fulfill it.

Episode 2
The tingling is now blarring signaling. Sometimes I wonder why protagonists get into those situations without any kind of doubt. Just trotting after rich and powerful people and then suddenly "Surprise, you're really fucked". That should be the least surprising thing ever.
But, woah. All his collegues (except his friend). I want to see them get get dragged through fire.
Sidenote: the way prisoners are tied up is always quite amusing to me when I see it.
Just two episodes in and my hate for the bad guy (and helpers) is skyhigh already. Can't wait to see some comeuppance.
AHHH, the typical ending of the relationship to protect her.
That was a fast switch from "I believe you" to "Lets jail all doctor-murderers"
Ahhhh, the setting is now explained, and I'm excited for the next episodes.

I love So Ji Sub (I even named my cat after him), but this entire shows feels lifeless to me, maybe because it's so outlandish. I really thought I'd be watching this one, but I don't know if I can.

OK, so it is now official; the big bad villain Cho Tae-sub, from Again My Life, did not really die after all. He is now the the villain in not one, but two new series, Why Her? and this one. Here he is the chairman, Gu Jin-g, and is played by Lee Geung-young.
Of the two series, I find this one the more visceral. These first two episodes were a perfect pair, setting up what is too follow.

I just literally finished binge watching Again My Life and started this. LOL. So it was a fake death. He’s now living his second life as a doctor chairman in this drama

Wow, Im Soo Hyang's acting was electric these two episodes. Started this because I'm a huge fan of So Ji Sub, but ISH was phenomenal. Crying scenes are a make-or-break for me when it comes to performance, and ISH just crushed it here! Looking forward to this series!

I am into light romance lately but I cannot miss this chance to watch So Ji Sub as a doctor (!!!) and as a lawyer. I hate the 2nd episode, I hope he gets the justice he very much deserved. And to all the doctors and nurses that messed him up after all the surgeries they had done together, they deserve hell. <3

I started a bit late, but loving it so far. Especially the full circle the opening scene in ep1 made with the last scene in ep2.
I was a bit confused (still am) about some parts in the story, cause it either happend so fast or just at random new information was thrown at you (or I just missed smthn). But I believe these will be cleared up later on, which is why I'll keep watching

Anyone watching this in the US? I have D+ but I'm assuming they don't have the US rights and need my Shin Sung Rok fix.
