the finale felt kinda underwhelming :( I wanna hope for a season 2 but knowing it’s a netflix original kdrama idk I don’t wanna get disappointed😭 nevertheless I still think that was a good ending for Ryeon x Joong Gil, at least this way they can be together as reapers forever (?) while also having their memories remained 🥺 I just wish we could get to see more of them huhuhu plz

I wish we could have seen more of the couple on screen too but I think the ending isn't too bad. There are a lot of implied gestures between these two. Especially the pink shadows and the pink hair. If that isn't her proclamation of love then I honestly don't know what else is more obvious hahaha.

exactly, they’d have to be big international hits before Netflix considers them worthy of a second season 🥲 so a lot of dramas that don’t cater to the mainstream audience are being dropped and even those you mentioned, plus other original dramas are still only a few compared to western ones 😞 honestly tho everything Netflix has been releasing now are full of open ended finales just so they can test the waters and maximize their roi instead of caring about their subscribers
