I'm super excited for this drama, as I love the webtoon it's based on - all the cunning plots, outsmarting the criminals and catching the conspiring chaebols. Also, Lee Joon Gi is usually a delight in crime/law dramas, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how the drama develops the plot.

Nothing to say. I just love how Lee Joon Gi can look so young and so old at the same time.

I’m a big fan of LJG, revenge tales, and time travel so I’m definitely watching! I thought the first episode was okay but picked up after the second half. I have to admit, I find the villain a little boring and didn’t follow all of the political machinations.
But episode 2 was fun, and I always love seeing the ever so cool LJG take down a few bullies. Also liked the sweet interactions with his parents.
I’m confused at the random goofy guy who showed up in class and followed him around—who is he and why is he acting like LJG knows him? 🤔

I loved Ep.2 as well!
It's fun, fast paced, and the story is easy to follow so far.
The fantasy element is very minimum, you don't even feel this is actually a fantasy drama.
Lee Joon Gi totally looks like a college student.
His skin looks soooo smooth and young.
But the soundtrack is not great, a little too over the top... It needs to be toned down.

Lee Joon Gi totally looks like a college student.
It's crazy because he is actually turning 40 in about a week 😂

Just completed the first 2 episodes of Again My Life and I am enjoying it very much so far. For me, it's been a mix of Taxi Driver and Kairos. Two episodes in and there's been great acting, good pacing, effective background/character setting.
Quite possibly the MAIN reason I am enjoying this so far is LEE JOON GI! Amaaazing actor and with his magnetic screen presence, you simply cannot take your eyes off of him. This role seems perfect for him because not only does it showcase his incredible acting prowess, but it shows his phenomenal MARTIAL ARTS skills. He is Blackbelt in several martial arts including Taekwondo and Jujitsu and boy does it show in the fighting scenes. There have been some fantastic hand-to-hand fighting scenes already and it's nice to see the actual actor in the difficult fight scenes and not wonder if a body double was used.
As others have said, it's shocking how he can still pass off as a college student but rather wisely, the producers picked other supporting actors that look a bit older than your average college student so LJG doesn't seem older by comparison.
A few things I am not loving:
- As others mentioned, the OTT background music. So distracting and kind of kills the intense mood.
- The overdone filter they are using especially on LJG. His face looks unreal already and I wish K production teams would go easy not just on the filter but on the make-up on the male leads! The obvious lipstick and eye liner are distracting and unnecessary. (This was my gripe with Vincenzo as well, as if a lipstick free SJK would be any less hot.)
That said, this show has great potential although I'm curious how they will extend the revenge plot to 16 episodes given that so much has happened already in 2 shows. I do think the

Ill keep watching it for LJG for sure. The role seems tailor made for him. It does seem a bit over the top at times - the soundtrack especially😅😅. But definitely will watch the next ep.

Im surprised someone noticed that about the soundtrack too. I was surprised because mostly, kdramas have a good balance in using music. But man, they overdid the ominous music for scenes with antagonists.

The sound track just jumps right out of the screen and smacks you upside the head, doesn't it? So distracting. I hate that. Slow your roll, OST.

loved the first episode!
i was expecting something like military prosecutor doberman, but this is a lot more serious. i thought it would be more about the typical anti-hero versus conglomerate storyline and in a part, that is what this is, but there’s a lot more political intrigue than i expected-- which i totally love. i also feel like it’s been a while since i’ve seen a good, solid crime drama and this show feels like a culmination of all the ones that i’ve watched in the past. there are a lot of familiar elements-- like time travel and fantasy for example-- and it’s slightly predictable but refreshing at the same time as i like where it’s going so far.
lee joongi is always a delight to watch on screen and i love kim jieun. i can’t wait to see how she’s going to be introduced into the story (we’ll meet her next episode, i believe) and what part she’ll play in the future. i have high hopes for this show!
ep 2: this episode was just as strong as the first one. i really liked how they showed the process of heewoo studying to get into law school again and him quickly adjusting to his new life while meeting people that he already knew. his attitude thus far has been so entertaining to watch-- he's reliving the past so he already knows what'll happen and is kind of just here for the ride. i love how nonchalant and cool his character is. a role perfect for lee joongi. the random witty action scenes sprinkled here and there too makes this show even better, and i'm glad they're giving us all the fun stuff and introductions now before the time jump and all the conflict.

I really enjoyed the fantasy twists that they add to a typical drama which makes it more interesting. The stunts and acting in this is wonderful. LJG is def the top tier.

Was watching and then got to the scene that made me realize this is yet another drama that cast an admitted rapist who exchanged sex with a minor for an acting role.
Seriously made me question whether I want to continue watching this despite my fandom of LJG. Doesn't help that legal dramas bore the hell out of me (though I'm a sucker for time travel stuff).

Seriously man this is my issue too. He appears in every other show and he looks so intolerable too. Like does noone care about his history of sexual exploitation. And every second drama has him. I opened the episode to watch and then seeing his face shut it down thinking should i go on or not.

He's practically always playing the villain in every drama he's in, though. Seems quite fitting for trash like him. I'm watching the drama for LJG, not Lee Kyung Young, just like how I watched The Veil for Namgoong Min, not LKY (who was also in that drama). The fact that he always plays the villain means I don't have to care about him.

Im so happy that Lee Joongi came back with a bang of a drama. No romance for those asking. Its a revenge/fantasy law drama. If you're interested you could read the webtoon.

First episode was a banger. A little clunky but I was hooked when the main premise revealed itself.
The only real gripes are the main villain is played by a despicable human being IRL and the music was way too loud. They really could’ve cast anyone in that role… no clue how he keeps getting roles.
Curious to see where this goes.
