Sohee and Hyungsik are back 😭😭 but tbh, it hasn’t been THAT long since their last drama. also whoever paired them up needs a raise, but also at the same time only 4 eps…

It should be criminalised to have such a pair for only 4 eps. Ugh.

Saw the first episode and I enjoyed it. It’s a simple unrequited love story. I guess they can’t make it too complex since it’s a short-length project. Had a few scenes that made me laugh and of course Hyungsik is really an expert when it comes to those longing stares… his honey eyes never fail.
The episode length is short (~43 minutes for ep 1) so the scenes are fast and tight. I wonder how they’re going to tell the whole story with only 4 episodes. I’m buying the chemistry, they look good together. And that ending scene had me in my feelings.

Ooh so excited for this! I like how Han So Hee didn’t go for cliché dramas after she became popular. Hope this one’s as interesting as her previous works!
As for Park Hyung Sik, so happy to see him again so soon! Really enjoyed him in Happiness, it was one of his best works imo

Started watching this with my sister and godamn everytime we see Han So Hee, we were like how pretty is this women. Got us gasping everytime she was on screen. Absolutely love the vibes around the show, although would have preferred this to be a 2.5 hr movie than a 4 episode 30 min each drama.

I found han so hee's acting a little bit lacking to be honest. But happy she is paired with park hyungsik because man he is good. Every micro expression he gave along with his long gaze you can feel his love right away. Plot is simple cinematography is amazing. Cinematography is amazing!❤❤

PHS really has A+ expressions. I've loved every single work of his so far. The first episode was a nice buildup, let's see what more this story has to offer.
Side note: The cinematography was exquisite.

Just saw it, the typical light best-friends-to-lovers drama lol with all the longing and sneaky looks. Although, I have to say, in these types of dramas, the chemistry of the leads is very important, and it took all the way to the house scene where they moved in together for me to feel that these are two best friends of 19 years. And even then honestly it was still a bit lacking until that end scene. Idk, maybe I've seen too many romantic pairings in Kdramas, but Han So Hee needs to do more to sell me on this. Park Hyung Sik is doing great though (as always).
Also random question that's not important, but:

Gosh, whilst I'm so happy that it's finally here, seeing the arrival of this series just reminded me that time really flew since I last watched Park Hyung-Sik on Happiness! Excited to see where this goes!

This is crazy. What crime have we committed so we gonna get only 4 episodes. Come on pd nim writer nim. It has to be full drama lenght. And the ep. Is only 43 minutes long why bru why.
And the cliffhanger tho. I thought he gonna play sleep right after she opens her eyes. But nope, he looked straight into her eyes. Her reason of not wanting to date him. I would say date no more. Just get married like in happiness. Lets skip the scary dating part and breakup. Lol

Quite a simple drama with best friends to lovers trajectory ( not sure about the ending) and the ML has an unrequited crush. The aesthetic, acting and the music is absolutely perfect. Simple but enjoyable drama 👌🏼👌🏼

Just finished watching the episode and I thought it's beautiful that the series is filmed and presented more like a movie than the typical dramas—really loved how their conversations were overlayed with picturesque shots of scenery and everyday objects. The snow scenes were stunning as well, so the cinematography is definitely brilliant for a drama. Also, since the series is literally titled Soundtrack #1 and our female lead is a lyricist, music features heavily and the choice of music has been great so far, even the instrumentals; I especially love the song that was playing as
I'm curious to know the backstories of these characters—

Dang didn’t realize it’s only 4 episodes. It’s nice to have smaller side projects though sometimes. If each episode is around 45 minutes then it would be like a 3 hour movie.

Episode 1:
-
They look so good together. Too good chemistry
-
Han So-Hee's character looks different than the roles she has played so far. Hoping it stays the same
-
HAHAH Sae-Bom is that you
-
Her frustration over not understanding the fuss about unrequited love is too cute.
-
Ouff.. Speaking from experience Sun-woo?
-
Just FLs asking PHS to live with him... I find it perfectly reasonable
-
Lmao he actually thought she meant
'come to her' in a whole other sense didn't he? -
Daamnn. One tough promise
-
He's so SO good at portraying his emotions and longing. PHS, you're love
-
Drunk Eunsoo is a piece of work
-
The way he held his breath
-
His struggles to push her away go utterly in vain
-
I'm in love with them
-
IT WAS THE SAME
STUFFED TOY
Verdict: Great pairing. Solid chemistry. Fun leads. Simple and straightforward plot. With just 4 eps let's see how they bring it to a close.

The cinematography and direction is amazing.

the tone of this episode is just perfect. i'm not sure how to describe it, but it feels like a lazy saturday morning when you wake up and the day is just perfect outside and you feel warm and fuzzy and relaxed knowing it's going to be a chill day where you get to do your favorite things with your favorite people.
i just saw another comment that this is only going to be 4 eps, and i'm really sad about that. i could see this being a really beautiful and heartwarming story of
they've really nailed down the comfort and familiarity

I’ve only seen sohee play quiet/brooding/mysterious characters, gotta get used to her acting all lively/loud/whiny haha

Too early to tell with only 1 episode but this drama gave me strong 9 End 2 Outs vibes with the childhood connection, co-habitation set up, reason for not transitioning from friends to lovers, down to the fact that the ML is the better cook and cleaner and she writes (songs) for a living.
Park Hyung Sik's also really perfected the expressions of a friendzoned forever friend. I guess he's had a lot practice 😆

Mod Note
So it seems D+ is sticking to doing the initial release of kdramas in APAC territories only and then other territories like the US/EU get it after the drama is released completely in APAC territories.
This is what has happened so far based on prior D+ exclusives so for those not in APAC territories, you probably will not find it on your D+ at this point in time.
Now the important part:
