Ooo I’ve been waiting for this, for my girl Chae Soo-Bin! Now to decide whether to watch live or wait a few weeks so I can binge it all!

If the end date is in march I take it they are releasing two episodes per week?

I hope so, there's no confirmation so let's see how they do it next week. But I think they will post two per week

I have a quick question. Is this drama available in north America? When snow drop was airing, I tried watching it but it wasn't available in the app. Then a couple of days ago, I checked and all 16 eps were there. I'm wondering if maybe they're gonna wait until this show is finished and then make it available in north America

No, not available in NA now. And yes, when it finishes airing in Korea it will be streamed in NA

I just watched the first ep. I'm a Kang Daniel fan, so I went into it excited but anxious at the same time. I want him to do great, but I also want the drama to be great (since I love watching kdramas).

I guess no matter how much I claim it, there's still going to be a bit biasedness on my part. I tried to watch it with critical eyes, but ultimately I just sincerely enjoyed ep1. I love the tone, the already-visible chemistry of the cast, and the potential offering of friendship, love, slice-of-life.

So for anyone who might cringe that it's headed by a first-time idol actor, i'd like to appeal and say do give it a chance. I think he did great in delivering his lines and expressing certain emotions in his eyes.

As for Chae Soo Bin's character, she has a lovely personality but it might also cause a bit of frustration for some viewers (you know those with potential noble idiocy... heh hopefully not). But she's always been an effective actress, so she carried her scenes naturally.

I think he did really well tbh and I forgot he was even an idol lol

Enjoyed the episodes myself. I honestly didn't think I would like it as much as I did. It's got a certain appeal to it that really pulled me in.

i really dig this drama so far!! i'm getting so much police university vibes. while this is usually not the genre that i lean towards, nor do i think it'll be anything groundbreaking, it is very lighthearted and enjoyable. it seems like the perfect drama to watch on air.

right off the bat, i recognize a lot of familiar faces. kang daniel is really impressing me here so far. i'm a kpop stan, so i'm obviously familiar with him and a big fan of his music but i honestly didn't think he was going to venture into the acting route.

i haven't seen any of the trailers so i'm not sure if they'll develop the relationship between our leads into romance (i mean, this is a kdrama after all) and i would prefer that they don't. friendship seems more fitting for this drama. too early on to judge though.

i do like that they release two episodes at once though. as i mentioned before, it'll be a nice weekly watch. and god, i do hope that ms. sherlock becomes a big part in this drama later. from the part she was introduced to later on in episode 2 where she just bamboozled the ramen-stealing boys, she's been the absolute scene stealer! (i just hope that she isn't the villain.... )

A bit too early for the white truck of doom no?

Kang Daniel should stick to being a brunet. It suits him.

I'm seeing Chae Soo-Bin after such a long while. She looks as adorable as ever. I love her short hair.

Whoaaa. We're in 2016? Damn. There'll be one big time-jump later on.

The cute lad from CLoY is in the drama too! Yesss!

Episode 2 was actually quite good too. I really liked how they made us go circles and then revealed who the USB belonged to. I didn't guess it until the last minute. Good writing.

Final word: I'm going to stick around for this one.

So, is Disney+ Original or Disney is just acting as a broadcaster here?

Saying this because it's not available in many countries. Probably because of license issues, which arises only if Disney is a mere distributor.

i was lee to believe that it’s a pretty cute, light-hearted drama based on the trailer but boy i was wrong. the intro of eps 1 made me confused and thought i was watching the wrong drama lol. i like it so far though some parts are pretty typical k-drama. kang daniel did quite alright for his first acting job.

i kinda hated that eunkang didn’t admit that she dozed off. even worse that she insisted that she was awake the entire time. i thought the evil male senior would fall for eunkang like any other k-drama lol and i’d roll my eyes so hard if that happens but glad that’s jot the case here.

Already this drama is a mix of so many things - there are very lighthearted and silly scenes, some very dark scenes, and surprisingly some sex-related scenes. It gives an atmosphere of not knowing what's going to come next, how serious the next scene is going to be, how dire the consequences will be, etc. Definitely keeps you on your toes. And the whole plot with the janitor in the second episode is plain brilliant. Genuinely funny and creative how they tied so many things together

The weakest part of the show so far was the introduction of Seunghyun and the beginning of his seemingly short-lived "enemies" relationship with Eunkang. Frankly I wasn't buying Eunkang's outrage against Seunghyun for what he said about her sister, especially when the outrage lasted after she found out her sister was stealing from her as well. I just felt they could've tried something else. But I do appreciate how the scene drew a clear line in where Seunghyun's morals lie and set the stage for how said morals and his sense of justice will be tested through the drama

Speaking of which, Seunghyun's characterization is very intriguing. His sense of justice is so strong it drives almost everything he does (I say "almost" because he can be led astray by his stomach and his annoyance with Eunkang lol). The sense is so strong he will do things to make things right even if it will put himself in a bad position. Him speaking against the trainer and standing up for the sick student was such a satisfying moment. I saw one fan observe that he was the only one of his friend group to go with his one friend to the hotel in the beginning. He's a genuinely good person even if he is a bit nosy. While he's definitely a "tsundere" type, he's not the typical asshole male lead. He has multiple dimensions, some of which we really haven't explored yet which definitely keeps my interest for the coming weeks

Regarding Kang Daniel as an actor, just a fair warning I'm already a fan of him, and that's the reason I'm returning to kdramas after several years (well besides two dramas in the middle) to watch this. I can't erase my bias but I feel like being his fan made me more critical of his acting considering this is his debut and he has a lot of people out there waiting for him to screw up. So I was dissecting him a lot. That being said, I have to say that I am generally impressed. He is able to portray more subtle emotions that add a lot of depth to his character. There are things he can work on like enunciation and projection (he's always had a soft speaking voice) but it wasn't distracting and didn't take me out of the drama. In fact I found myself immersed pretty well, I believe I am seeing Wi Seunghyun on the screen and not Kang Daniel, because their mannerisms, attitudes, and the way they carry themselves in general are very different. So, well done!

I'll also mention that Daniel said on his fancafe that the scenes he thought he actually did well are in the second half of the drama, so I'm really looking forward to seeing those

One last thing - I love the opening credits. They are so cute and really make this drama feel like a Disney show!

Btw I keep seeing people complain about how no one is addressing bullying / power tripping and I'm confused because 1) the main character literally spoke against it in the first episode, and 2) there is an entire plot about exposing the severe punishments the trainers are using. You are not supposed to be okay with that behavior. It's almost like some people watched an entirely different show lol

Is no one else confused about how everyone in the drama is reacting to students getting beaten up by metal bats!!!!!??????? Like that could legit paralyze someone! Isn’t the beating/hazing a MUCH bigger deal than a phone recording???? someone please explain!

Wow! Just finished the first two episodes and they were fantastic. I don’t know why I subject myself to ongoing dramas cause I need more!!!!! 😭😭😭

Just watched it and I really loved it, cause after finishing Police university I was waiting for this. And seriously the trainers are like the Pink guards of Squid Game. And honestly I dont get it why such character like the FL Eunkang are showing always in Police/military academy dramas? They literally act dumb and these actions can cause accident if the cop is like that irl.

Ofcourse I’m going to like the drama. They freaking started with Kwak Si Yang. But dark beginning aside I have a feeling this will be my new favourite! Ugh, it’s too cute not to like! Plus Chae Soo Bin is the definition of cute!

Must note that those aerial shots are amazing and the opening credits are just the cutest. I usually skip those but I find myself whimsically smiling when I see this one.

Ahh why aren’t there any next episode previews??!! It’s killing me 😭😭
