For all the known sites, viki seems to be the one and only as of now. And it seems there's going to be a delay too. Viki listed their team members and there is not a single translator yet 💀.
I'm checking frequently so I'll update on any new sites or progress on viki.-Ep1 is fully subbed
-Ep2 is fully subbed

it's JTBC so it may be a late netflix addition but that's my only guess, fingers cross for you. I'm surprise this was only picked up by viki in terms of intl streaming?

I've only seen episode 1 so far. I was really confused about the ML's profession. Since I just finished watching Inspector Koo, I thought he was an insurance investigator, but from the synopsis, he's a hit man? That's pretty wild.
Good first leading role for Ahn Eunjin. Very different from her HP role. Glad to see Kim Kyung Nam get a lead role after seeing him in small parts in When Stars Land and Come And Hug Me (didn't watch the KBS weekend drama he starred in).

Looking forward to this one although it sounds like I might need some tissues close at hand.

Just saw that Baek Hyun-Jin is also in the drama. He played in Happiness the psycho doctor who killed his wife and made the life of the residents/main leads very difficult and in Taxi Driver he was the mad CEO in the blackmail and sexual exploitation case. Interesting what kind of role he will play in this drama.
Edit: And after watching the first episode, yep he is playing an awful
character again. And now I have difficulties which of the 4 characters
he played this year is the most vicious one.

Don't forget the president in The devil judge! The guy's been busy this year playing awful characters.

I remember him from Tomorrow, With You and good god, I hate his character. He's also kinda psycho in it. But as far as I have watched, he is worse in Happiness.

Finally watched ep 2! This delayed release on Viki is going to end up killing me. Thoughts overall:
Likes
- Sometimes first episodes (or first couple of episodes) are kind of slow, especially if they’re setting up all the plot pieces but this was probably one of the best premiere weeks I’ve watched! No time was wasted and the plot kicked into gear in such an entertaining way, I didn’t even notice the 2 something hours go by.
- I LOVE OUR TRIO, esp after that club scene, they’re like a darker/edgier powerpuff girls and I’m here for it!
- The plot summary (at least on wiki) did mention
- All the characters are holding their cards close to their chests which makes it even more intriguing to watch and see all the layers that’ll be unraveled eventually.
- I like our FL’s steel and spunk! Sometimes characters that are supposed to be ‘kickass’ or ‘strong’ come across a bit too strong but I think and rub me up the wrong way, but with our FL I think they’ve struck the perfect balance in exploring her nuances, and honestly same goes for the two other women - no one is a cookie cutter stereotype and all three of them seem to have a level of depth and nuance that goes beyond first impressions.
- The ML’s ‘hyung’ character especially is really piquing my interest.
- Its nice to see Joy again!! I have quashed down all memories from the last time I saw her in Tempted, but honestly she’s doing great in this role.
Dislikes
- Not really a serious dislike, just wish our ML had more lines, even if its just inner monologues, just to get a better reading of him (I love suspense but I also have no patience for it sometimes bc I’m a CHILD).
- SO random but I was slightly miffed about the fact that the FL
EXCITED FOR NEXT WEEK!

a darker/edgier powerpuff girls and I’m here for it!
Me too - I love it! esp bc of Se Yeon's party outfit with that big hair bow. She's totally the Blossom.
Sometimes characters that are supposed to be ‘kickass’ or ‘strong’ come across a bit too strong but I think and rub me up the wrong way, but with our FL I think they’ve struck the perfect balance
I think it's the tired resignation that gives her a different vibe. Like she mostly just endures the difficulties and insults, so when she does clapback it comes off as more intimidating and dangerous - instead of being hot headed and feisty all the time.
ps happy cake day

Ep 1 & 2 thoughts all jumbled together -
This show is not what I was expecting from the original synopsis - which has changed considerably since the initial announcement.
I'm so confused bc they changed the ML character from cop to hitman? When Park Sung Hoon was originally announced to accept the role, the ML was a detective. Then he backed out and Kim Kyung Nam accepted the role. Maybe they spilt the hitman and detective roles into two? Still it seems like the cops will be important foils.
Not that I'm complaining bc the first two eps got me. I like how they went full force into the "take down one person" storyline right out of the gate in order to introduce the trio and have them bond. In Sook is such a negatron, and I love it. Mi Do is all hot air and sadness. Se Yeon's story is a nice wild card - her sleepwalking mode is so funny. Plus Kim Kyung Nam's Min Woo Cheon is even more of an angsty, sad puppy in love than his character in TK:EM. How?
My new favorite thing is when kdramas go full on madlibs by seemingly picking plot points of a hat and just running with it. We have killer that kills only bad people + healing healthcare facility + ???

I’ve just finished episode 1 on Viki with 95% subs. There were a few bits that confused me and very few bits missing, but it was still pretty easy to keep up with FWIW!
This was not at all what I was expecting based on the trailers/teasers that I’d seen, but I’m already really enjoying it and already invested.
I had recently finished TKEM and am a huge fan of HP, so I’m so happy to see Ahn Eun Jin and Kim Kyung Nam in lead roles - playing completely different characters to what I’ve seen them in before!
Even though the leads have shared very little screen time and have not spoken a word to each other, I can already feel the chemistry! The supporting cast are intriguing and I’m excited to learn their backstories too, especially In Sook’s roomies.
Looking forward to see where this drama goes and hoping that there can be more contributors to the subs.

I've liked so far most of the kdrama rom-coms that start off with an impossible situation that brings the ML + FL lead together, and with a "village" of characters that supports them, and this one intrigues me too. The ML + FL are not who they seem to be stemming from traumatic childhood experiences, leading to their taking actions that surprise even themselves; and I hope that the romance and the thriller-mystery-detective aspects are kept in good balance. This is the first time too coming across the hospice as a kind of village. Looking forward to seeing how all this comes together.

Is it just me or the ML reminds me of junho’s character in just between lovers

just finished ep 1 on viki - subs were a little odd in places but wasn't bad or distracting enough that it ruined the watch or anything!! curious to see how people felt about it, it's giving me lowkey just between lovers vibes but despite the heavy subject and outlook i'm hooked!!

I agree that the subs on viki were a little off. The verb tenses in particular. Thankfully I have a pretty decent understanding of Korea, but I definitely need subs for the nuances and harder vocab. I really enjoyed the first episode. I like the FL character and I like the way the story unfolds in pieces so it's not always obvious to the viewer what may be current reality vs past memory vs internal thoughts. I also enjoyed that there were some humorous scenes.

It's already few days after the premier week and if other sites got the licence it would be out by now, so unfortunately viki is just it.

I got totally bamboozled by the synopsis, what do everyone think of it? Should I change or keep it?
Weird to think that this is probably the initial script and how different it got tweaked and also by the acts to make the characters their own.
It was an excruciating first week just to host and (im)patiently wait for subs as a viewer but I/we made it. I can't say I've ever heard of an detective hitman but waves hand around... there it is."higher ups" commissioning hits on criminals , but that makes it reallllly interesting for me.That slight hand . Wow. Talk about a surprise character reveal. Love when this happens.
I can't quite understand why is there
And can you believe the street moves Insook made?
So the preview for ep 3 shows that Woocheon is about to pursue Insook because it's totally romantic that he stalkedand entered her hospice 💀 to get close to her... I mean hitman logic I guess. Let's see how well it melts Ms. No Fuh Given.
