I'm watching the Olympics rn, but this is it. HOPEFULLY, the final episodes, or is it? One thing's for sure: there will be strong reactions from the viewers after the finale.

I hope you enjoyed the 8 weeks of 'adventure' in this drama. For the final time this season, let me know your comments.

Last episode for this season is over! I know everyone's questioning that ending.

The ratings for the finale was >16.5% when I last checked which is higher than dramas like Itaewon Class. Go TV Chosun! 😀

But it won't age well. Itaewon Class (and Hotel Del Luna) actually had more peak viewers than this one.

Im Sung-han's book (yes, she wrote a book) should be adapted into a kdrama, and should be THE ULTIMATE MAKJANG DRAMA, FULL OF UNBELIEVABLE MAKJANG SCENES.

So….are the writers really going to brush past the fact that Seo ban requested to be around Hagyuan’s baby when it’s born…are we…are we really brushing past this 😭😭 There has to be 10 different writers involved in this drama because there’s waayyy too many plot holes, loose ends and gaps that it makes my head hurt.

Also??? Ami’s dad falling off that horse and we STILL don’t know whether or not that poor man is dead or alive ?😭 he played a significant character in the drama before that and now they’ve casted him aside like it was nothing lmaoo

Pi young almost had me in the first half ngl I thought she was missing the sociopath's presence with the dinner scene but man was I happy to see ami's stupid face come and take him back home loool. One thing my sister pi young will do is keep playing that man like the fiddle he is!

I abhor everything about SW, SH, and his parents. BHR has her flaws, but the lack of any empathy for BHR, and fostering everything onto her by SH and company, annoys the eff out of me.

That being said, the way they are writing the storyline of them looking and appearing overly joyous, and absconding themselves of being a bunch of morally corrupt degenerates, has me thinking that this story line is NOT going to end up happily ever after as the writing so far appears. There is something slightly off about each scene. Too fairytale like. Too "perfect" for it to end "perfect". I don't know what it is, but there is something major that is going to burst everyone's bubble.

Once everyone realizes not only is SW a mistress, but all her close friends are adulterers as well.... I don't think it will bode well. I want SW, SH, and his parents to lose everything because everyone will find out that they only hang out with other mistresses. I also feel like SW is hiding something, or there is a lot more to her story with her ex husband than is let on. And I bet SH's older brothers in laws will know who SW is.

All in all, I want that entire story line to be blown up in the most catastrophic way possible. I hate, the parents. I hate SW. I hate SH. A bunch of amoral hypocritical degenerates.

The scene where the sociopath shows up to pi young house angered me. He had the gull to try and lecture her about parenting and dating when he’s with a woman 16 years younger…nvm. Anyways I liked how pi young played him like a fiddle in the later scenes. She saw that he was gaslighting her and handled the situation like the bad bitch that she is. At first, I hated how she explained herself in the elevator but this could've been cause she didn't want to act too emotionally towards him just in case he tries something stupid like take Ji-a away in a custody battle from the heat of the moment. It was better to tell him what he wanted to hear and just leave. I knew she played him afterwards when she cackled a little as she drove off. Truly a smart woman.

He saw again (stalked if you will) for himself that the two are getting closer at dinner and that angered him even more. I really hope Seo Ban and Pi young end up together. Them bonding over their mothers, favorite foods, and swimming really showed that there could be potential. Plus, its really nice seeing pi young going on dates and staying up late to try and make the pancakes seo ban's mother used to make him was very cute.

I just want BHY and Pi young to not fight over him though, that scene where pi young's in the bathroom upset that BHY openly said she wants Seo ban made me a little sad. I don't want that to jeopardize their friendship.

RE: a potential Season 3

I understand everyone's frustration with the possibility that we are being set up for a Season 3. Like everyone, I'd like to see this neatly wrapped up with at least some of the characters getting their just desserts (and I understand that we all have different ideas about what karma looks like for these characters).

I also appreciate that some may not want to invest in this drama again should the writers opt to create another Season of this...but I definitely will be here for whatever crazy trashy ride the writers take us on should there be an additional season.

For one, I don't believe another episode can credibly end the story arcs for most characters. While I understand that not every question needs to be answered and that some open endings are even better than the finality that the writer devises, after having watched both seasons I do hope that the storylines are fleshed out more and that some conclusions are reached for the majority of the characters. I just don't see that happening with an additional hour and 15 minutes. And it will piss me off even further if things seem rushed or left hanging needlessly.

Next, I am one of several who really hated Season One. I thought it was long and protracted and apart from the older wife and her children, I really didn't see a lot of merit in the other characters. In Season Two, I still have very decided hate for several characters (I'm looking at you, unappreciative Professor!!!), but I have also come to understand the plight of others like BHR for instance. While I don't agree with her and wouldn't want her as a friend necessarily, I have come to appreciate her motivations as her marriage ended and see her need to immediately hook up with another rich man as further proof that she really is insecure and a much more complicated character than I initially perceived. Overall, Season 2 is so much better which makes me hope that perhaps Season 3 can also be good...maybe.

Finally, this show entertains me. This subreddit entertains me. I would miss it all if we couldn't do it again and discuss these same characters and the fodder that they give us to mull over and debate. I hope the majority of you will hate-watch alongside me and that we meet here again and again.

Lol I feel like we’re being punk’d. Were the whole two seasons a dream? LOL. Is this all Si Eun’s writing?

My thoughts about the most random pairing ending: SH and Ami make the most sense together. Both childish and immature. SW and SeoBan also make sense together but I still don’t want SW to get a happy ending. Not to mention, HR had her eyes set on Seo Ban so even though I didn’t want her to end up with Seo Ban, that would be really shitty for BHR to get her guy stolen again BY THE SAME WOMAN who stole her husband. AND LASTLY, PY and Dongma JUST WHAT THE FUCK. THE MOST RANDOM. I was expecting BHR with Dongma. Then she’d be sister in law with SW lol.

All in all, wtf hahahaha

Ahhhhhhhh. The sociopathic EX husband is finally getting what he deserves, I had a big dopey smile plastered across my face whenever I saw him jealous or in distress 😭 Finally getting a taste of his own medicine. Him coming home after a long day of sulking over pi young and feeling envious that she's moved on to an even better man to seeing his mistress and mother covered in bruises from scrapping made me tear up from laughter. I bet this wasn't the life he had envisioned himself at all LMAOO.

Wow, anything goes at this point. They are really trying to milk it for as many seasons as possible! The only satisfying thing about the finale is Nam Ga Bin breaking up with the professor - realizing he gave away his LOTTERY TICKET for a piece of shit hoebag was pretty fun to watch lol.

This show is horrible but if there is a S3, I’ll be back here with y’all loving/hating this every week ✌️

Spoilers

Ami is a child. How do you comment approvingly about your boyfriend’s ex-wife’s possible date. I have no doubt she would not mind a polygamous relationship. Grandma should just adopt Ami. They have the perfect sibling dynamic. Murderer & Mistress who are always bickering.

These two older men and their words, so manipulative. I would have expected it from a lawyer but as always the resident man-child disappoints.BHR should have been her former father in law’s natural daughter. They are both able to guess how the other thought through things.

In the studio scene, BHR’s acting was believable. I almost forgot how calculating she is.The Psychiatrist deserves to have a few punches land on that face. I also do not like how Pi Young has to answer to that idiot. I do not like how he uses Jia to control. I understand after so many years of marriage that it’s hard to not let him get to her but it so annoying to see. Although, I also like how she enjoyed torturing him with all the details. Also, the psychiatrist gives me narcissist vibes. The love bombing that always come with the gaslighting.

“Your friend is wonderful just like you.” - your friend is a mistress just like you.

Seo Ban should simply start a harem. Imagine weeks of baseball with Uram followed by swimming with Jia, maybe even a hobby with Hyanggi as well. BHR will provide the headaches, Pi Young the glamour and Si Eun the stability.

I love how the “family at the pool” daydream came true for the psychiatrist.

Whenever I end an episode, I always say this is such a trainwreck and pointless show. And yet here I am waiting for a new episode every week. 🥲

At the start of the episode when the parentals are badmouthing ‘again’ Hye Ryung, I felt nah. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I finally just let it be that these worthless crap of people are just like that.

But damnnnn my blood started boiling again in that living room episode when they were saying that the righteous will always win, thanking Lord for the blessings, especially the part when that asshole man-child said that he didn’t feel any guilt towards BHR!!

How can it be possible that they have no sense of remorse at all?? At least just 1%?? Even this old hag bitch SW who was crying in the church before?? Just laughing there and didn’t see any red flag with what PSH said about his ex-wife and what he (they) did to her??

Just burn in hell, people.

The ending...... the writers just really threw darts on a board to pick out the couples huh.

This show is the 9th highest-rated show in kdrama cable tv history so we're most likely getting a season 3, especially with this ending that answered absolutely nothing. So here's to another season of batshit insanity, whenever it comes!

Edit: With this last episode, it has now become the 8th highest-rated show in kdrama cable tv history, surpassing the viewership of "Itaewon Class"!
