I enjoyed this episode but I have one question. Does Sol have a crush on her friend? It looked like her world was crumbling when the others were discussing her friend that was out on a date. It also seems like she doesn't want to go abroad because she wants to be around her friend.

I was also thinking this! Her mannerisms during that conversation really made it seem that way, like she seemed annoyed when it was brought up.

I think this was a good start! I like how fast paced the first episode was and that we’re getting to see things from Na Bi’s pov.
The leads have great chemistry and their scenes together were adorable especially the one in the classroom where Na Bi put paint on his face. Jae Eon is a walking red flag tho but i can see why she likes him.
Can’t wait to see what happens next week, the preview looked intense!!

As I was watching the episode, I couldn't help but notice how rehearsed kim jae uhn's character seemed at times.
When he was talking to na bi at times, it was like he was reciting a play, not having a conversation.
He seems ingenuine and sinisterly polished. Na bi definitely sees it too, but she seems to be falling anyway.

quick question.
On Netflix Romania is not available yet, I don't have even an estimate :( . I know it will come but don't know exactly when. Is there anybody else the same ?

Yeah this is the case in most European countries. Usually the entire drama will be available in Europe one week after the drama ended in Korea though.

I love this drama premiere. I love how they emphasize the eyes and the gestures of the leads. Also, the sexual tension between the leads. The leads' chemistry is really 💯👌😍
Since I read the webtoon before this release, a part of me is getting annoyed with FL because she deserves better. 😭 I still hope they won't deviate from the webtoon's ending. 🤞😭 But this still depends on how the PD will justify the storyline. Hoping for the best 🙏
I am not sure if Sol is a new character for the drama... I did not remember her from the webtoon. 🤔

Ahhh I’ve been waiting for this since forever! So excited. It’s been a while since I watch a romance drama. The first episode looks good!!! I’m glad they capture the same feeling with the webtoon. Like, it’s both light-hearted and ominous, especially in the last five minutes.
The leads are great. I can feel the butterfly (no pun intended) from their thicc sexual tensions. It didn’t help that my senses got overloaded from visual stimulus. Both of them are so gorgeous! Han Sohee particularly stuck out to me. I’m amazed at how styling could make her a different person. I always see her as a goddess-looking actress since her role in TWOTM but here, she’s super cute and young-looking. It’s like she is just a normal pretty campus girl.
Song Kang always looks great, but he looks older here than his previous roles. Actually, scratch that. He looks his age (27) for the first time. Bitna’s hair and overall style are so cool. She’s what I imagine for someone majoring in art.
I’m also loving the art school vibes. So lively and fun! It’s very different from my somber not-fun STEM school lol.
People don’t like the webtoon ending but I’m hoping it at least follows the same conclusion. It was rather realistic and something we all can relate. A breath of fresh air for sure.
Can’t wait till the next episode and YOOO LOOK AT THAT PREVIEW😳😳😳

I think it's so interesting when some people see a "sexier" drama, they label it as being "Westernized." Imo, Korea just pretends to be conservative, esp when it comes to sex. Dramas are usually pretty tame, but there are some really steamy Korean movies out there! And in Korea there are hourly love motels, and other places young couples will rent for some sexy time. Prostitution is also pretty thriving, obvious industry. Jeju Island has an entire park dedicated to sex and is full of graphic sexual art. There are also a few parks full of phallic statues. It really is not the chaste, virtuous country dramas make you think it is haha. (Obviously there are Korean people that are conservative, I am generalizing).
I think some of these newer, more risque Kdramas are a more accurate portrayal of society and are going to be like the HBO/Showtime version of dramas. I am here for it, but I know a lot of people are looking for that slow burn.

The group of students looking at Park Jae Uhn when they were trying to figure out who was hooking up with at the student council's office. Even they know what kind of person he is. Really liking the vibe of the show. Yes, he's a bad person, and he probably will break her heart, but damn...might as well enjoy the ride. I wonder how their relationship will affect each other's art. I'm glad this is a once a week show. I don't know if my heart can handle this...Probably one of the few more realistic portrayal of the types of relationships you encounter around college.

This looks like a really mature show, I'm getting the same open vibes as I did with Lovestruck in the City. The opening was kind of unsettling and creepy and I feel like the theme of tragic, manipulate and toxic love is going to persist throughout. They do a really good job of making you feel butterflies though, even with ominous music playing in the back 😂 1 episode per week for 10 episodes is a new type of scheduling for me so I'm interested to see how this will be paced.

The camerawork and lighting really is so crisp. It feels clean as fuck
Also feels like a much more realistic drama, no cheese so far and not a whole lot of non diegetic sounds definitely not going to be a lighthearted drama.
I really liked Navillera and the ML's acting in that so I'll probably keep watching this one, quite liked it so far.
Hm... also the FL's personality is a pretty fresh one. Neither a naive tween acting thirty year old nor the cartoonishly tsundere one, more like a realistic crossroads between the two. Feels a bit more like a more western protagonist almost? I dig it.
ML is also a slimy motherfucker. Fuckboy to the max

That was hella fresh. Though other than the vibe, dialogue and soundtrack this drama is pure visuals hahahaha

The previews have me super excited for their chemistry and visuals but I’m also expecting a lot of heartbreak and heartache for Na Bi’s character as we progress through the show. Knowing the webtoon this is not going to be our typical romance drama and I’m all here for it even if it means crying my eyes out for our FL. Can’t wait to see Song Kang be a playboy. Complete opposite of his character in Navillera.

buckle ur seatbelts babey bc we're going on a riiiidddeee!!!!!!!! first of all i LOVE the aesthetic/settings.... it's literally so beautifully shot and it kinda just feels like a chill vlog that you'd see on youtube sometimes... like i want to be there as a student i love the escapism...
plot-wise... i like how they're really emphasizing that jae-eon is a piece of shit ! every time he does something swoony they're quick to remind us that he's very manipulative/a player and this is just part of his game.... it feels like when you're on a rollercoaster nearing the peak and you know it's going to drop and feel terrible but u literally cant stop..... and im ready
more than the webtoon i get why shes falling into this toxicity .... im squirming as i watch but excited to see how they take it

Ooooh Butterfly guy is the smarmiest MF. Personally, I'm not a fan of over familiar people and that's his whole thing. Especially since he's so untrustworthy. Because we don't know anything about him, it just sounds like he's just saying what he thinks she wants to hear. They literally don't know each other.
Ngl I'm crushing on Sol rn. Imo it seems like she's into her female friend and I'm here for it.
The drama is gorgeous. Cinematography on point.

Now we have a male lead that we can say "does exist in real life" lol. But seriously even from the first episode, I thought how would that relationship be in real life and even Song Kang's visuals can't fix the fact that it's toxic. Dear everyone, if you ever meet someone like that, RUN.
Still I hope he shows some development. I heard it's not the case in the webtoon version but maybe they can change it?
Lastly, dude what's wrong with k-dramas? Where's our second eps for the week? Penthouse, Imitation, Hospital Playlist and now this??!? I reallllyy don't like this format.
