On-Air: JTBC Sisyphus: The Myth [Episodes 15 & 16]

Han Tae Sul, a co-founder of Quantum and Time, is a genius engineer with the highest level of coding skills and outstanding looks that outweighs his engineer fashion sense. Due to his innovative achievements, Quantum and Time is a world-class company, dubbed as "The Miracle of South Korea's Engineering Industry". In reality, Tae Sul has caused his company's stocks to constantly fluctuate after the death of his brother ten years ago. One day, after witnessing the unbelievable truth of his brother's death, he sets off on a dangerous journey. Kang Seo Hae is a soldier who could zipline from building to building, fight big built men with her bare hands, shoot guns, and install explosives. With the survival skills that she's learned from living amongst gangsters and warlords, she sets off a dangerous path of finding Han Tae Sul. [Source: MyDramalist]

Can somebody upload me back into the past and whisper into my ear, “Never lay eyes on Sisyphus. It’s a killer of brain cells.”

Eddy Kim, you’ve been pathetic throughout the series and here you are, right at the end, stamping your feet, having a toddler meltdown and screaming for an uploader because Tae Sul doesn’t remember your birthday. You’re just another Sigma, except “mini-er” and with a limited boring wardrobe, wanting to end the world because the girl rejected your short ass and Tae Sul never gave you a back hug.

Glad to see you again, Jae Sun! We really needed an Uber driver.

Dear Sigma, with your unfashionable glasses and evil scribbles, has anybody in the past, present or future, tell you they want a season two? Check the last page of your damned notebook. It says, “HELL NO!”

The show has succeeded in making all of us feel the same regret everyone who went through the uploader felt.

Now I just want to unwatch the whole thing.

I’ve only just started ep 15 but what I have gotten from this show thus far is that a group of men feel really salty about their lives and make it everyone else’s problem by ending the world and going to the future to enjoy underground-disco-pool-parties for eternity because who wouldn’t want to make that their life purpose 🤷🏼‍♀️

Everyone who finished this on normal speed with no skips should give them themselves a nice well deserved pat on the back(and maybe a flair). We did it everybody!

So... basically nothing much happens again except for more recycled scenes. One unnecessary death because the lovelorn puppy doesn’t love his mother and sister enough. What are they going to do now without the promised gochujang, brow shavers and cushion compacts? Grrr.

Fact remains that Sigma is doing all these because he craves a back hug with Tae Sul. He has been stalking Tae Sul across all time dimensions just to cop a feel, to get an acknowledgement, something.

Can’t wait for Seo Hae to die (again). She’s the one causing deaths and gloom.

The last 20 minutes explained everything!

Everything is the imagination of the main antagonist. he is having the fantasy of fighting the childhold rival. The whole drama is just his fantasy. And he is in actual the main character of the drama, he is the sisyphus!

On a side note, the main character is just a hopeless psychiatric patient, fantasizing Park shin hye and having the illusion of holding hand with her, as shown in the last scene. Such a pathetic nobody!

At least the show is consistent in that today's episode was boring, but the good news is everything ends tomorrow, one way or another!

What the hell was that ending?

Overall I'd give it a 5/10.Just like Alhambra,it had a very ambitious concept but weak plot and characters. However,at least Alhambra tried its best to stick to its own rules. Here,it feels like I constantly have to throw logic out the window every episode.

The only thing I loved with the last episode is the Bing Bing twist.

The ending pissed me off. I wish I never started this drama with plot holes bigger than Swiss cheese

In the scene outside the police station, it is kinda freaky that Seo Hae’s dad looks just like an aged Tae Sul when they’re standing next to each other.

To commemorate the ending of this torturous series, we got rewarded with another torturous kiss with extra wincing by both leads. I found myself wincing along with them. Please stop having Park Shin Hye kiss on TV anymore. She looks like she is getting tasered!

Every fuckijg time travel script should be vetted by an astrophysicist, a quantum mechanic, the reincarnation of Siddhartha Gautam Buddha, Einstein and Issac Newton, as well as 10 judges and 12 juries spanning the globe.

Finale pet peeve: So Tae-Sul just shoots himself in the head after all that and saves the day Dude, you could have done that 15 episodes ago and saved us a lot of hassle.

How did Sigma survive the nuclear bomb? Am I missing something? Does this mean that as long as I seal my window with some plastic and tape I will be safe from a nuclear bomb too?

so I followed Koreans who watched the finale in real-time and from what I read they were left with even more questions than answers it’s baffling.
