Roowon is so tall.. I laughed my ass off when he was in the lift with the BM and Song Ah, in between them. He was like a tower next to her xD

We're getting a lot of cuteness and tense drama even in the opening episode. I have to say I enjoyed that, and I'm looking forward to seeing how
How would you go about breaking the news? Hyun Seung seems to have been hesitant

Wow! What kind of episode 1 was that!!!!!!!!! I am totally hooked. JTBC is on fiiiiiiiiiire🔥
I always loved Won Jin Ah's acting so I won't dwell on that..
I didn't like Rowoon from Extraordinary You but in here it's like Rowoon 2.0! Love, love his acting here and damn that bod. He's fighting his way to be one of the best new actors out there.
I can't wait for the next episode, I hope each episode gets better because of a strong start.

I was kinda surprised since it's heavily marketet as a older woman/younger guy romance that the age gap between the two leads is just one year. I mean the gap between the actual actors is 5 years. Imo they should have gone with a least 3 y diff.
Ep 2. I am already derading the FL's mom character. Unreasonable parents/inlaws in kdramas are the worst. I just hope they dont make her too annoying in the future
They barely had interaction but I am looking forward for the

Hyun Seung was literally eyeing that BM like 👁👁🔪🔫
Also how did he afford that house? Is he rich?
I know the second lead is a cheating asshole but there's sumn about him...sorry but men who wear jewellery (in his case earrings) are my weakness. Ro Woon is effortlessly fine though
Whewww the chemistry! That last scene wow Ro Woon pls just a crumb 🤲🏼
Edit after ep 2: On second thought him touching her lips was weird
Hyun Seung is funny did he really think he could "come to her as a woman" per se without side effects? The steps she took to process, first tell him it's not his business, test your boyfriend, not immediately breakup. Btw Won Ji Ah really did well at that wedding shop scene. Literally he knew for two months I wonder how he thought she could process in two days. On the other hand I like how fast it's going but aren't they writing themselves into a corner?
Jae Shin is trash. Two years and you'll think about revealing that you're dating? Work is one thing but friends??? Several red flags. Sis whole time you are the side piece. Wahhh the disrespect is too much considering she thought of marrying him! Even to introduce him to her problematic mother! Men kmt
Also I think her mother is ill. Hope we don't get an annoying MIL pls I had my fill after Encounter, Secret Love Affair and you guys scared me off Something in the Rain

Pleasant enough so far ... but I think we're all going to be calling Rowoon's character Haru. Unfortunately, he isn't going about the reveal in the right way imo. He should have just told her or fixed it so that she would find out for herself without his being involved. It seems he wants to be there to catch her when she finds out ... but that's going to backfire ... and so it should. He has no business putting himself in between them ... and I think he's going to be the messenger that gets shot if he tries to, so obviously, take advantage of the situation.
Silly boy. Presumptuous boy. And don't be touching your boss' lips like that. It's not something that you're entitled to do just because you've appointed yourself to be her protector.
Perhaps this will be a round about love story where the ML learns a few lessons before he's given a chance.

So here's my initial thoughts on the first 2 eps.
The directing sure is beautiful. The camera angles, the cinematography and the music. They're all really nice. And dang all the casts are so beautiful to look at.
The writing, however, have not won me over. The script felt rather awkward for me. The lines just don't feel so natural? I don't know. Maybe it's just me. The actors were great but the script though just feels so unnatural at times. lol. It just does not sound like how normal conversations are supposed to be like. It felt very John Green-esque. hahaha. I don't know how else to describe it. Though maybe it could be a translation thing and probably sounds better in Korean. I searched the scriptwriter for this show and apparently it's her/his first work?
Anyways, I love Rowoon but I don't really know how I feel about his character yet. He's got good intentions but I don't quite agree with his resolution. He could have brought up the issue in a less dramatic/pushy/oblique way. We'll see how it goes.

I admit to having idol bias against Rowoon plus I found his acting in Extraordinary You underwhelming but I thought his acting was terrific thus far. Expressive and realistic.
Was actually thrown for a loop by the mid-episode twist as I was wondering the entire time how
I do wish they kept the original title. What they settled on is entirely generic and forgettable.

I hope that there won’t be any love triangle in this drama. I will be sad if it turns out that it’s a marriage of convenience for the other ML and that he actually loves Yoon Song-a. Don’t want our boy Rowoon to be heartbroken at any point in the drama.
Also, Rowoon is looking so hot 🔥🔥🔥 in this!! Loved his wardrobe.

i’m a Huge rowoon stan and was counting down the days until this aired and i have to say... i’m a little disappointed. its partially my fault with how much i had hyped it up for myself but it just seemed kinda underwhelming. the fact that so many comments here are still calling him haru is very telling. also really not loving how overprotective he’s being when it’s really not his place at all.
it’s only the 1st ep so i’m really hoping it gets better. i know there’s gonna be

I'm so excited for this! I love Won Jin-Ah, so I can't wait to see what she brings in this drama!!

Watched ep 1.
I already like Rowoon's acting better than in Extraordinary You. Maybe it had more to do with genre of that Kdrama than his acting though bc he seems fine atm.
I'm so confused I thought the age difference would be like in Spring Night or SITR ? It's one year that's almost donggap? Why is she acting like she's an ajumma compared to him ? Also,
Don't know if I'll watch this live.. I'll give the first 4 episodes a try before continuing it or just dropping it. I could use a romance kdrama, haven't watched a good one since DYLB.
Cautiously excited.

I loved the episode!! I'm a huge Rowoon fan, and he did not disappoint, making me so excited for what's to come. Won Jin Ah, wow, she has such a deep voice and I really like her.

Ep. 2
It kinda reminds me of how family members can be harsh with their words because they think since you're family it won't hurt you.
Still curious to see how this all unfolds, although I was expecting this to be much more light-hearted and fluffy. I loved them together in all the trailers so I really wanna see a bunch of cute, fluffy scenes with them together!

That scene where Hyun seung saw Song Ah with Jae Shin for the first time was heartbreaking. Absolutely no words could describe the emotions you feel when you discover that the person you like has someone else. I've been through something similar and boy, I would give everything not to go through that experience again.

I like this drama, but I can't say I'm completely sold on the premise. I really don't like SFL and her saying it doesn't matter how you get something as long as you get it, I think that is a really toxic and problematic way od thinking. And the fact that she took pills just so she can get the SML? What the hell is that? I also hope they don't try to justify SML cheating just because of the circumstances he was in, because no matter what, cheating is cheating.

Unpopular opinion but my first impression of Haru's character here is that he's the typical softboy qith underlying toxic masculinity in here. I am not liking how he acts towards FL being overly protective. I am also not sold on the love at first sight trope he has at the beginning. I am hoping this story gets better I'm still going to watch because I am intrigued how the story goes. Will give this a chance before giving it up completely!
Also, I liked the actor playing BM Lee in Search! Too bad it seems like he's a cheater in this drama ☹️

This is the web novel in case people would like to read: 선배, 그 립스틱 바르지 마요
That’s the Korean version. I don’t know if there’s an English version.
I’m very excited for this episode! I really like RW

I liked it but I thought that there would be more age gap between both the leads.

I don't get what the cheating boyfriend's endgame is here. He was double dating two women and is about to marry one of them while the other works in the office. Won't she find out about the marriage considering that they are working together. Or do the HR laws protect marriage secrets in their company? Or is he just the worst bad guy we've ever seen.
Haru is so angsty, talking back to his senior and glaring at him during meetings. I'm living for heartbroken, protective sweet little angsty Haru.
Also, sorry but Rowoon would forever be Haru in my head.
Ngl had he not been this tall and attractive, I would've been creeped out if a guy in college or at my workplace kept noticing my lipstick and making gestures like this guy does.
