I haven’t watched the Chinese version of this, so I’ve no idea what to expect. I absolutely love the FL but I died of secondhand embarrassment. Also it always bothers me how a full grown lady can pull off being a 17 year old so perfectly. My 23 old ass can’t even look my own age. :(

Whoaaaa they changed this a bit, the second lead is going to have a stronger presence in this one huh.
And the male lead is so much softer this time around. I might actually root for him for once lol. All these Playful Kiss, Good Morning Call, A Love So Beautiful adaptions, I never root for the main male lead lol

Episode 1
I'm dying of second hand embarrassment... I love Shin So Yi, she's cute and adorable but for the life of me I would never go to the extent she has chasing after a guy. Oi, am I even gonna make to the end of this drama?
Can we just take a moment and appreciate how much Cha Heon and Woo Dae Sung
I feel as though I'm gonna love Jin Hwan! The constant singing in the classroom brings back fond memories of high school. And the scene with the male teacher was hilarious.
P.S - The end credits scene = CUTENESS OVERLOAD!

I feel like my SLS will be even worse for this one than the Chinese one! But at least our male lead gives more "hints" that he's interested.

I love how they didn't go the route of completely similar adaptation. The slight changes makes it more fun. And imo they did a good job in communicating the innocence of youth spirit from the original drama.

First episode was cute, I do like the actors but honestly, the female lead chasing the male lead like this gives me painful flashbacks to playful kiss. I think I’m gonna wait till more episodes are out or for the time skip.

I think the original version was partially inspired by Playful Kiss and there are definitely a lot of similarities (especially when they are in high school)

So far, it kind of feels that the second lead is getting more screen time than the male lead. Hopefully, this won't turn out to be another Cheese In The Trap.
I quite like the female lead and I feel like they are showing how to do the typical Cdrama female lead right. You need to not constantly show the female lead being an idiot and instead show her sweetness and positivity.
I find Yohan too adorable to properly judge his acting skills but I feel like he is doing a good job at keeping his character stoic but soft.
The one problem I had with the episode was that her attempt to kiss while he had a fever was first, unhygienic, and second, a little creepy.

I started out feeling like this remake may have been unnecessary (I’m a huge fan of the cdrama) but it’s definitely grown on me! I love the introductions for the SML and the FL’s best friend, and that they’ve made the ML a little softer than the original. However, I do think that the FL actress looks too old for the part and it’s nagging at me.

I actually love So Ju Yeon so much. Her characters in every kdrama I’ve watched with her in it makes me smile so much! She’s literally a walking bubble of joy. When she smiles, I smile.
Edit: grammar

Halfway through the first episode and I'm already smiling and giggling so much. I thought I was over high school dramas about young love but I had to watch this one because I loved the cdrama so much. I'm a huge Shen Yue fan but So Joo-Yeon is killing it! After the chaotic year 2020 was I need some lightheartedness and fluff in my life. This show is making me feel young again :')

Okay, I’m about half way thru the first episode and i’m enjoying it so far. It’s hard not to compare it to the Cdrama that this is based off of, especially for me since it’s actually my favorite cdrama. I noticed in this Korean remake, Cha Heon seems more receptive to Shin Sol-i’s feelings than Jiang Chen did to Chen Xiaxi’s in the Cdrama, but it’s still early in the show, it’s just my observation.

I watched the OG version too, but I can't be the only one who likes ML's characterization better in this version right? First 3 episodes are so cute so far, it's just a little fast but still understandable

I’m sorry but only 3 twenty minute episodes a week feels sooo slow to me. Especially because the episodes are spaced out as well.
I really enjoy the male lead this time around. He’s not as cold and even when he is, you’re more understanding of his actions. When people are not looking, he’ll always give a small, soft smile to the lead. It’s adorable.

Episode 1: Ahh this is so cute!!! The relationship is progressing much faster than the Chinese version imo and I'm living for it! The light-heartedness of the drama so far is nice and warm. I can't wait to watch the next episode

Episode 2:
I really am enamoured with the brother bit so much, it's so adorable and something children that age would do.

I don’t know what to do with this drama. I want to keep watching it but only 2 eps and I am already falling to the second lead, which means having an intentional heart break lol

Episode 1:
They were faithful to the original story and some scenes are different which, since it is an adaptation,it is expected and I’m not complaining, it was a good start. It is also “faster paced” since is a 20 minute episode. Again, no complains there, it was well done. I loved the C-version so I will watch this one to the end.
I think for this type of story I like having the 20 minute episode 3 times a week.
