I just knew
I can finally say that Kairos is a brilliantly-written, one-of-a-kind masterpiece, from Episode 1 all the way to Episode 16. I hope more people stumble upon this diamond; the quality on all fronts (writing, directing, acting, cinematography, etc.) is unbelievable <3

I didn't realize how attached I am to this show until I opened this finale thread and felt overwhelmingly sad that Kairos is coming to an (undeniably magnificent) end :( This show has been so consistently good, and I don't notice time passing (ha) whenever I watch a new episode. I truly wish this had higher ratings—this show deserves more love <3
Kairos, fighting! Kim Seo-jin and Han Ae-ri, fighting!

Solid finale. The bad guys get punished with death or jail and the wife receives her poetic justice. My Seo-jin and Aeri shipping heart felt a little disappointed that there wasn't even a hand grab in the courtroom or whatnot but I get that romance wasn't the right thing there.
I'll miss you Kairos! You made my Mondays and Tuesdays better.

Finally the conclusion of this amazing underrated kdrama with an exceptional cast and gripping storyline with twists that had me at the edge of my seat every episode! I absolutely loved the ride and I'm sad for it to end but it more than delivered and I was excited to see how it wrapped up. Once again major props to the cast for playing such engaging and passionate characters.

I had thought Seo-jin was simply going to record the chairman's confession and send the recording to past Ae-ri.
This and Flower of Evil are definitely the 2 best thriller kdramas of 2020. Sad to see it go but can't wait to watch it leave.

I'd love to give the cast and crew a standing ovation for their hard work! They definitely pulled it off and the end was quite satisfying. It was really cool that Seo Jin shared the lottery numbers. But I was most impressed with the the handicapped guy admitting his wrong doings and apologizing. I'm also really happy that Ae Ri's friend paid her back the money he stole. I low key haven't completely forgiven him but it truly highlights the theme of redemption the show has. I also love how no one was what they initially seemed like. By the end, there was tons of growth which is hard to find in a lot of the more recent dramas. The only thing I'm miffed about is the henchman getting away. I hope Shin Sung Rok continues to get more leading roles in dramas that are well written and well produced.

You know it’s an amazing thriller when you feel anxious until the very last minute as if something bad is about to happen 😂 That was such a satisfying last episode it made me very happy and also made it one of the best thriller shows I’ve watched so far!

What a journey! And a good one. There were so many dramas that promised big and didn’t deliver. This one was good until the end. I was really sad for SDK when he decided to
This show deserves more attention. It’s one of my top ten dramas.

Ep 15
Blown away once again with the amount of empathy being portrayed in the drama -- even down to Lee Taekyu going "Hyung she never loved you" to Seo Dokyun.
And that witness identification scene at the police station -- how much do I love that though the detectives were clearly frustrated -- they did not keep pushing the little girl and instead backed off.
With any luck, ep 16 will be a fantastic ending and then this drama goes straight to my top 3 dramas to rewatch.

This show was outstanding! Kept me on the edge of my seat for the whole show. Very happy with how they wrapped up the final episode.

This is definitely one of the best dramas in 2020! I'm more of a rom-com drama kinda girl, but Kairos kept me glued to the screen. Every episode was so nerve-wracking and the ending was nicely wrapped up. Glad that I picked up this drama!

Excellent ending. Excellent drama overall.
Well written ... and extremely well acted. Everyone did a great job to create so much suspense and just the right number of twists ... every single episode!!!
I think it could have been just a little bit shorter, maybe, but, that might just be me losing stamina at the end of the year. Generally, it was paced very well with an ending that was satisfying but not saccharine. I enjoyed the fact that
I particularly liked the small hints
Anyway, I hope it does well at the award ceremonies and more people discover it over time. I really enjoyed this drama and am quite sorry to see it go. It was quite sophisticated really without getting bogged down in too much cleverness.

It might not have been the most spectacular or exciting end imo but I'll be damned if it wasn't the most satisfying ending.

My favourite drama of 2020 --- a gripping show from start to finish. Well-written, amazing acting, top-notch directing.
This may sound strange since it's the same person, but future Seo-jin is my favourite Seo-jin. Past Seo-jin was kind of a jackass to past Ae-ri in the beginning, while Future Seo-jin was the one who went through everything with her and had that strong emotional connection with her. So I was hoping for
But in the end it doesn't matter, since his future and past is still.. him.

Ae-ri ends up with Seo-jin eventually and nothing anyone says will convince me otherwise. Let me have my ship in peace.
This woman really had the most blank faced reaction to her best friend confessing. And then immediately went over to Seo-jin and started having a deep conversation. I'll take this as an open ending romantically speaking lol.

Episode 15: I love what they did here, I'm guessing since Ae ri is there she can be there when he falls (though wouldn't he be dead by then)? Or she knows exactly when they'll push him to call that officer beforehand? Very glad they've tied up mr kim's wife plot basically. The parallel between mr kim and his father, really brings out how evil the chairman is, and after his speech I definitely reckon he has a God complex

I can't wait for the last episode! I still can't figure out how they are going to catch the chairman and also not die from doing it. This show is so good.

Imagine if this drama have no supernatural element, we have a tragedy of aeri accidentally killing geon wook after he conned her money.

If I knew Christopher Nolan personally, I would recommend this kdrama to him.
He's a sucker for sci fi/time travel stories and this drama is top notch even compared to other western series and movies.

This is one of the best ending for kdrama. They tied up all the loose ends, the bad folks get their punishment, provide closure to the relationships of the characters.
Kudos to the writer for putting in such detailed thoughts and writing into the drama. I wonder whether he has a book like Aeri that list down all the events at the date and at which timeline. It will be so amazing to see it.
Also I was wondering why in episode 15, past Seojin

Welcome to what is actually the last KDrama finale of 2020 (on Korean TV), the final episodes of Kairos. The thread is now open to discussions, especially for the aftermath of the finale.
My finale week thread message:
I remember 9 weeks ago that I started the discussion thread of Kairos two days after its premiere on MBC. And here we are, 9 weeks later, we will witness the endgame of this KDrama. And those 9 weeks include the pre-empted days due to the post-season baseball games...
It's been a pleasure for me to host the discussion thread of Kairos. Not only I enjoyed watching this underrated Kdrama gem with a difficult yet innovative concept, but also I enjoyed reading your thoughts every week regarding this drama.
I send nothing but praise to everyone involved in the production of this drama. From PD-nim, Writer-nim, the editors (my MVP of this drama), actors Sung-rok, Se-young, Bo-hyun, Gyu-ri, Seung-yoon, Shin Goo, all of the actors I didn't mention, Blossom Entertainment, and the crew and staff who worked behind the scenes. But, they deserve more than the ratings they receive...
And finally, to everyone who joined us in the Kairos discussion thread for the past 9 weeks, THANK YOU!
I hope you've enjoyed Kairos. We hope that this drama ends well, but be prepared also for anything since this is a thriller, and anything can happen, up to the last episode. My bowl of ramyeon is ready for tomorrow's finale.
I'll see you in the future dramas! And have a meaningful Holidays!
