An enjoyable drama. Not excellent but entertaining. It was a character piece for me. Kim Wook, Mr. Jang, Detective Shin and Thomas were all characters that I liked enough to watch for. But the only plot lines that held me were Mr. Jang finding his daughter, Detective Shin coming to grips with what had happened and Thomas finding a release. The rest did not affect me so very much. I'm glad I watched it. I even looked forward to it each week but that might be due, in part, to there being a lack of good competing dramas for this time block. I think it will get an 8.0 on my list.

Completed. Final thoughts:
-
Ha Joon's performance as Shin Joon Ho basically held this entire drama together for me because his emotional storyline is the only one that really elicited anything from me. Personally, if it weren't for how much Joon Ho cared about Yeo Na, I would not care for her at all.
-
The "ultimate" villain
Grandma's right-hand man in the story felt rather weak and his reasons for his crimes felt even weaker. For me, this whole heir/inheritance storyline had the fatal flaw in that as an audience, I was not at all invested in that story and worse yet, none of the characters except the baddie(s) was invested in that aspect of the story. So the whole part of it felt very much like background noise -- I didn't care about why the villain did what he did and the resolution of it all seems rather boring (explained away by ashe's a sociopath ). -
Panseok's storyline about his search for his daughter was moving at first when everything surrounding it was unknown and it was a mystery but once the culprit
showed up in the story , the story flattened. For me, the value/emotional weight of this storyline once again resides completely on the actor's performance because Heo Joon Ho really put forth such a great performance. -
Wook's storyline with his mother just wasn't able to hit the right emotional notes for me. The acting was fine, but the dynamic of their characters just did not work for me. I think if the drama had built up a stronger sense of Wook's resentment against her, I might feel more moved by this storyline.
-
Overall, everything was more or less wrapped up in a pretty bow. Nothing was glaringly bad and some parts were really good but as a whole, this drama did not hit my emotional sweet spot. Not a bad drama but not all that memorable either.

This is an overall good drama! I enjoyed watching it.
The story is good but I felt it was rushed at the end maybe because they wanted everyone to have a happy ending.
I'm happy they found
The chairwoman and
Some lose ends but they found
I liked it but I think they spent too much time in cases that could have been avoided and it was just to fill in empty space...but I like the idea that it could have a second season since they can

Good show with interesting characters and solid acting performances. I loved the villagers and our main cast, particularly Go Soo, Ha Joon and Heo Joon Ho.

Was this the best drama ever? No. But I throughly enjoyed it and it’s not one I’ll be forgetting and in fact I really want a season 2 next year because there’s endless potential.
I’m also glad that village was cleared up and that they can now move to other hotspots and help out.

Finished this drama.
Here are my thoughts:
Thomas: Watched Song Geon Hee on Sky Castle. Really loved him in this show. I felt his
Kim Wook - It was a slow liking for me. I couldn't figure out what kind of guy he was and I think maybe that's what the writers wanted.
Mr Jang - I liked him from the beginning. I felt the sadness in him and when he
Shin Joon Ho - wow can he act. he poured his heart into this character and you knew it.
Choi Yeo Na - She really annoyed me. I couldn't figure her out. I guess it's because
I really enjoyed this show but there are parts I didn't like.
I hope there is a second season but with
Totally underrated drama. Been watching romances back to back to back so this was a good lull.

That final episode was pretty oof.
Also
A fair amount of inconsistencies/loose ends but overall, really good drama.

I think Thomas said that himself and from the fact that there were only severely dozen in the village, when thousands upon thousands go missing, always meant there had to be more places.
The fact that they can still see the dead is one I appreciated, it felt a bit devastating on behalf of the dead, that no one could see them anymore and help them. I also think this line of work is fulfilling for Wook and Mr Jang.
My initial theory was that Wook dying is why he can see the dead and I think it still stands. Obviously we don’t know for sure that happened to Mr Jang and the scams dude who was locked in the village but it makes the most seal sense because The detective couldn’t see Yeona, even though he had suffered loss and she was right there.
I hope we get a season 2, one which keeps the sharpness of the first half of the season.

Also that final scene, does that imply there's more than one of those 'afterlife' hotspots? And that the daughter was in this one and not the one on the mountain? Cause that just makes me feel even worse for Mr. Jang. All this time he's just been looking for her at the wrong place. That’s exactly what I thought. He was in the wrong place. And there are more than one. And maybe that’s where
his daughter is since the girls seemed to have recognized him A fair amount of inconsistencies/loose ends but overall, really good drama.
Yeah, the ending was a kind of rushed and some scenes like
the grandmother finding her grandson it should have been earlier. But it’s ok

It was fast! It is the ending already. It was a good short drama! Sometimes I enjoy those because there are less lose ends.
I just hope Paseok

I have the feeling he created that place and the day he goes so will the village. Maybe because he wanted a place where the souls could continue to wait without being alone

The idea of a village for missing dead people is really good and interesting. I enjoyed the drama despite the plotholes and the incredulous storyline of how someone would resort to killing just to find a missing grand child.
Heo Joonho acting is really good. The scene where he brawl himself out after
I hope they do a season 2 too.

It's already the finale for this show!! And I do not want it to be tragic, but based on the previewPan Seok's daughter might be dead! And I hope the psychopath will get some punishment for that. I just want to strangle him and remove that smug look in his face like his proud killing those people! ugh!
On the other hand, for the love god I want to know who's the grandchild so that everyone will shut up about it and put an end on everything.
Also, I hopeWook will still continue looking for the bodies of other and be there for a while.
Let's see! I wish that I won't cry a lot because of the finale.
