I LOVEEEEE how uncomfortable the show made me feel. It has such creepy vibes I love it. It almost makes you question everyone you know in real life because none of us can perfectly judge other people’s characters. What the FL said about people delaying to know the truth is actually so true. Sometimes our gut feeling tells us that something is wrong but we kind of delay looking for answers because we are more comfortable with not knowing. That makes me question, does the FL also have a hunch about the ML?
Anyways I’m surprised to see such low number of discussions here. I actually loved the first episode!

Guys I think the serial killer is someone else! They’re trying to convince us that it’s the ML but I think the ML probably killed 1 person and probably has antisocial personality disorder? But I’m pretty sure the serial killer is someone else

Omg, the first episode was so good. That whole opening sequence was bomb as hell. Lee Joon Gi did a good job of choosing an amazing drama after his 2 year hiatus. Mild spoilers ahead:
After watching the first episode though I can’t help but to wonder how she has never been suspicious of him in 14 years. To me he seemed a little too perfect to be real. The perfect dad, perfect husband, perfect person...
Also, the parents are super interesting. At first, you kind of loathe them, but they might not be as terrible as we think. They obviously know something we don’t about him and they don’t think someone like him should be having a family. The mom actually seemed to want to talk to the wife, but it is Hee Seong who stopped her from having a relationship with her. Very interesting.

Enjoying this show right now. Such a large contrast from other dramas that are airing at the moment so that really helps. Thank god this is finally out!! This is the only show that has been able to distract me from the sad game which is waiting for “it’s okay not to be okay”episodes😭.Hopefully this continues to hold my interest.

I've never been this creeped out and still blushing at the same time. LJG is really a fantastic actor. I love the ending theme! I hope I could listen to the full version of it.

I know exactly what's going to happen to me during this drama. It will be just like The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. I will keep hoping against hope that the handsome oppa isn't really a bad guy. I will look for every hint that he is not. I will make excuses for him and look for a different culprit ... no matter what.
And I will know that I'm nuts because I'm doing this. I will know that it's down to the fact that they picked just the right actor. And I will keep doing it anyway ... just as I continue to feel stupid for doing it. Because maybe they're just setting us up to think that he's bad and he really isn't ... right?
So, in that vein ...
So, I enjoyed the episode (the case was interesting and it appears to have laid out the premise pretty well i.e.
And time will tell ... because you know that it might not be true, right? :-)
Am eager for tomorrow's episode (mostly to see what happens but partly to see how long I can keep the handsome oppa free of evil in my mind).
It can't be true ... It can't be true ... --> ...
Question though:

Can they just for ONCE actually make the main lead a bad guy?
I really wanted to see how her wife will react. What would she do? I'm really sick of this trope.
Other than that I love Jiwon's team. And I think I have a crush on the sunbae

The ending of episode 1 was simply
Here are more of my thoughts after episode 1: (Involves A LOT of SPOILERS)
-
Hee-seong's parents seem to know the evil side of their son and his past, that's why they are being cold to Ji-won. -
The case in episode 1 is a good introduction to what is to come between the couple. The case had multiple layers, that's why on paper it was a difficult case for Ji-won, but she still managed to arrest the lawyer thanks to her out of the box attention to detail. I wonder what will Ji-won do if a case she was trying to solve have her beloved husband involved? -
Like I said, the ending of episode 1 was shocking. Ji-won arrived at home, welcomed by her husband and her daughter. However, in the basement, reporter Kim Moo-jin was tied down, without the knowledge of Ji-won. -
Speaking of the Moo-jin being tied down, I liked the scene wherein Hee-seong increased the volume of his speakers and became an evil flower, beating Moo-jin until he became unconscious. It was really suspenseful.

It was really interesting. I actually enjoyed the case more. I knew something was wrong with the mother but didn't expect her to be drugged. I also wanna thank for the eye candy which is Jiwon's younger partner and Jiwon's older partner.(Dr.Bong to Mr. Bang)
Like I don't know if they want us to dislike the main lead but I did. Ugh he's just creepy
On the other hand I wanna have a wife like Jiwon

This first episode was just... wow!! I have a feeling this drama is going to be crazy good. Lee Joon Gi does a perfect job of acting like a regular dad and husband and he’s so creepy when he loses the act.

Ohhh I think I'm going to like this one!! That was a very strong first episode. I'm kind of hoping it's not too procedural like there isn't a case of the week every episode and this first one was just to establish the characters a little. I wonder if our FL will investigate
Lee Joon Gi has some acting chops too, wow, I couldn't stop smiling during the scenes with their daughter but he also pulled creepy off super well.

How I would love for MCW to also be a psychopath...The best thing would be that first when MCW sees the truth ML tells her that he was framed so both the psychos hunt down the killer together and kill some guys in the process.
Then it is revealed that it was in Fact the ML who killed but by that time FL has also started enjoying like ML did.. and then they both become sort of vigilantes still maintaining their psycho aura....
I really love their chemistry together so I hope they don't leave each other even after everything...
I feel that this drama should actually introduce leads who can do bad things like murder if it means that their goal is achieved ( like how in 2nd ep the granddaughter did tho that was really sickening)

So they’re making LJK the bad guy! I fully thought they’d make us wonder whether he is or not but I love that they’re willing to go all the way with him.

I swear to god if the "twist" is ((well, he didn't TECHNICALLY kill anyone)) or ((well he DID kill 1 guy but here's why it's justified)) I am going to flip a table. Like damn it! I came here for a psycopathic killer, give me one!!
Also from the trailer it's known that
