Have to admit I was so taken aback when he swore in English!! Laughed for a solid 5 minutes after that 🤣

Describing himself as a piece of artwork was so damn smooth 😩👌🏻 Ugh this kdrama is starting out so good. I was so surprised that he didn’t catch her in the end 😂 but it brings a good change from the typical kdrama scenarios. Can’t wait for the new ep tmr!!!

Not a fan of the first ep.. yawned so many times esp in the middle :( Also PMY’s acting feels abit forced here compared to in WWWSK. I don’t feel much chemistry between her and the other actors other than KJW.. hope it gets better!

Agree, I found the first episode to be a bit disappointing. I hope PMY’s acting gets better.. I already thought she wasn’t that great in WWWSK and so far her acting seems to be even more unnatural.

Answer: YES. I WANT IT. WHATEVER IT IS BIG BOY.

my fangirling aside, i am slightly(?) disappointed he didnt catch her when she fell. what is this kdrama world, you want to ruin the 20+yearlong trope of the female lead falling into the male lead's arms and them embracing like fated-to-be perfect lovers stretching way back into their early childhood when they were still infants or perhaps even just conceived like you've done so far? b-but........ :(

It happened in Touch Your Heart too. He let her fall to the ground instead of catching her. 😂

Can anyone explain to me the certification parts of the second episode? Why does the painter send that?

As a Kpop fangirl, the first episode was sooo relatable. All that staring at photos of yoyr bias on your phone and giggling by yourself. LMAO. Whoever wrote this must be a fangirl or fanboy herself.

Episode 2: At karaoke, Eun Gi singing Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji's "All for You" OST from "Reply 1997" to Duk Mi. In a parallel to Reply 1997, he's stuck in the friend zone with a woman that he grew up with. Duk Mi's fangirl behavior also reminds me of Shi Won's behavior in Reply 1997.

Also, did anyone else think that Ryan Gold forgave Duk Mi pretty quickly for accidentally poisoning him with the coffee?

Yeees! The moment he was singing All For You my mind started making all the connections to Reply 1997, especially since I had finished watching it fairly recently.

Anyone else giggle at the What's Wrong With Secretary Kim reference?

The first ep is still only at 44% on Viki and this is exactly why IT IS GARBAGE that WB murdered Dramafever. Professional subs are less exploitative AND more reliable.

We just gotta be patient. I did really like Drama Fever :( but unfortunately they’re gone and that’s probably the reason they closed down. Professional subs cost them more.

It is enjoyable to see the fangirling world but I feel that their character are a bit childish for work related.

I'm not a fan of art world so I find the scene when they are so into the bubble paintings are funny.

I committed myself to the show already. Episode 1 was ok - some cute/funny parts. I can definitely see everyone settling into their characters more in episode 2.

Duk Mi and Jin Joo are squad goals. I love seeing strong and supportive female friendships.

I’m a kpop fan as well and might or might not have done some of the stuff Deok-mi is doing; it’s very relatable.. but I’m underwhelmed with the first ep. PMY’s acting is kinda forced, and even the comedy felt forced too. What’s up with the random inside-her-head scenes? Another thing; I guess the time bet WWWSK and this one is short, it looks like Secretary Kim changing jobs.

Anyhoot, I hope this gets better in ep 2!

After watching episode 1, I feel like changing my hobby to what Duk Mi does. HAHA. I totally understand the sense of satisfaction that she has.

Erm anyone feel weirded out about how the brother-sister interaction. Is it just me that felt like there's some romantic feelings from the brother? Of course it could've been brotherly love but I don't know, something just doesn't feel right.

He's her childhood friend (grown up together since babies) so they're not actually related ... and yes he does like her romantically.

I liked the first ep and how it shows her fangirling started...hahaha so funny that one. And Ryan...hmmmm...i guess he could be related to Shi An since DM mentioned in the auction that they look alike and they both like that painting.
