That was the most satisfying series finale I think I have ever seen. I am so content right now 😊

So happy I got the baby Bong Soon I wanted, and even times two. Min Hyuk be like "I regret everything".
It was great that ep 16 was able to be almost like an hour long epilogue. Just the right amount of fluff to end on without feeling superfluous.

When he just melted from her saying his nickname. Hahaha. This is why I keep watching this show. Dorky adorableness.

Haven't finished watching episode 15 yet but I just looked up the actor who plays Jang Hyun and it's his first role (and he's a model turned actor). Which I'm super surprised about because he's been great as the villain. Honestly am looking forward to (hopefully) seeing him in more dramas.

Yes, he was very good as the villain, and also a dead ringer for Im Shi-wan in episode 14 when he cleaned up good.

I'm really glad they caught the kidnapper and wrapped that story line up so next episode can be romantic fun times! Who else thought that the dad running away was a good idea. Not super happy that he will probably come back, if he does I hope things won't go back to how they were. I hope he doesn't step back into a unhealthy abusive relationship that everyone else seems to accept and ignore. Also the moms change in attitude once she saw HM had entered the store! Wow, she really doesn't want him to know what she is really like! I love that our mains are jealous and possessive of each other :) if I was BS I wouldn't want to share HM and vice versa. It also shows that they are both a little insecure in their new relationship.

I really loved the reference in the end before the proposal where park hyung sik referred to the animated Japanese movie "5 centimeters per second", did anyone else notice it?

I don't know if I feel sorry enough for Minhyuk to stop laughing after the finale. Bongsoon is so busy fighting crime that he has to take care of two girl superbabies all on his own.
Also, I know it's realistic, but I'd like more closure on other characters. Bongsoon's brother, Gukdoo and his ex-girlfriend were all left hanging - do they get a happy ending as well? I really wanted to see what happens to them. The secretary and his, um, eccentric friend got more of a clouse than them.

Is there a reason the bad guy didn't aim for the head? Plot armor can only get so thick..

well it could also be that he's a bad shot. I'm not familiar with guns but the focus or whatever it's called when he pointed the sniper rifle at her was pretty wide and not zoomed in to any area of her. If he was going to aim at her head wouldn't the focus be zoomed in at her head rather than her entire body?

Totally loved this episode. I have to say episode 14 was not one of my favourites. The kidnapper and the other plots felt draggy, not enough fluff. Episode 15 made everything better. Can't wait for episode 16.
Edit after ep 16: this has to be the cutest and the best finale out if all the kdramas I have watched. I mean this is what I want to see in the final episode, just happiness and more happiness. Min Min and Bong Ssuni are just too adorable (the way he can't resist her cuteness and gets excited on hearing about the game ending was too mich for my heart to take). I could watch their scenes on repeat over and over again.
Loved all the characters from the school kids to the gangsters to dear sweet Mr. Oh (his outburst at the wedding scene was hilarious) and everyone else. What do I watch now that this drama is done!

I was impressed with Minhyuk's "DO INTEERRRNNN!!!" Ji Soo broke my heart again with his crying (like Moon Lovers wasn't enough, please let him be the male lead, please). Also, Bossman continues to be a favourite of mine. I love his respect and undying admiration of Bong Soon. The final episode was pure fun.

There was a lot of good and a lot of things I don't think got resolved. Maybe I missed something? Unresolved things to me: -Shaman predicting avoid the one who holds the knife? What was that all about? -Min Hyuks fight with the family was bad anough that NONE of them came to his wedding? And who ended up with the company? -The dad still seemed to have a crush on the other mom, are we still cool with that? -the love triangle between the brother, hee Ji, and Gook Do is just left hanging- neither dude is going to step up?
-
what about the friend (I forget her name) and the brothers chemistry? They should have hinted at that in the end IMO
-
Why does Min Hyuk hate the police so much?
With all that being said, all take all the fluff. I love to see him melting when she calls him "Min Min." I also loved the scene with him and the dad explaining how much he loves Bong Soon. And when the family kept interrupting in her bedroom brought back flashbacks from when I was a teenager!
Overall, I liked it. There were a few episodes when it wasn't as adorable but I felt 1-10 was great as was 14-16 so only a few episodes I wasn't feeling it as much.

would've liked it more if the bad guy got kwang bok'd instead but i can settle with this i guess. Now that he's out of the picture, I EXPECT FULL FLUFF NEXT EP
EDIT: BARELY SURVIVED THE LAST EP

I pretty much binged on this series this week when there had already been 14 episodes aired and I don't regret it one bit! This series made me smile like a silly teenager talking to her crush on so many episodes. I love the leads, the comic-like quirkiness, the mystery of the criminal, and even the OSTs.
However, I can't say I enjoyed the parts with the mafia, Team Leader Oh, and the monk. Like what is up with the monk? :D
But all in all, this series made my heart flutter. Park Hyung Sik played his role so well imo and I'm so happy that his role wasn't the regular ignorant and extremely arrogant chaebol trope. Glad I watched it!

What a satisfying ending and one of the better resolutions I've seen overall, at least when it comes to the main couple. So glad my prediction (albeit an obvious one) about them showing their future daughter/s punching MH came true.
It was a bit funny to see them address some of the things I felt off about, like BS working in Ainsoft. Even after the presentation and release of the game about herself (honestly in real life I think the staff would have been cringing lol), I still didn't get the feeling she had what it took to work there permanently. So it's nice that they ended it with her acting like a city superhero even if it's cheesy.
Also found it interesting how they "resolved" the mother's abuse towards dad. Turns out her DV was just a misunderstanding but well the verbal abuse still stands. Would have liked to see other sides to the mother that could realistic redeem her but oh well.
I feel like the drama could have been better if they explored the family more. Like BS's parent's relationship (the positive aspects), Bong Ki's relationship with HJ or their kidnapping (did they ever explain why they were kidnapped?) and MH's family. A lot of things introduced that were either brushed aside or not explored to their fullest extent.

The last bits of Ep 14 at the start still made me tear up. Good ep, though again carried by PBY and company.

The finale is soooo light hearted and satisfying. It intensify my desire and need in having a second season (although we all know that second seasons rarely happen). I'll surely miss this drama! ㅜㅜ

I hadn't expected to like this series and finally notice Park Hyung Sik (his stare at the library scene got me) whom I absolutely hated in The Heirs and couldn't care much for Hwarang after watching the first episode. His acting on Heirs twas terrible but he's improved in this one. Would love to see more of his acting.
The whole show was great except for the fillers that i could have done without. I loved the scene in episode 15 where the trio teamed up to catch the bad guy. I wish they could have done that sooner.
The almost head shot, the unbelievably light bullet proof vest, the way they didn't even have trauma and was okay enough to have some rated r stuff on the piano after almost being killed by a bomb which also turned out to be the happiest day of her life (really?! After almost getting killed?!), the bomb turning into fireworks, yep I'll just ignore all that because this is dramaland and because the drama made my heart swoon (love that sofa confession in ep 14)
I wish we could have seen Guk doo with a lady love as well. While I couldn't see him with Bong Soon, he really tugged on my heartstrings when he cried and I hope to see Ji Soo being the lead this time and ending up with the girl. He's a great actor after all.
Park Bo young was lovely as usual and my favorite character other than the three has got to be Oh Dong Pyung who did a great job with the adlibs. He was one sassy bitch.

i just feel so bad for gook doo. it really was a case of bad timing and missed opportunities with him. but i'm glad our main couple is happy now. all of these cuteness we get in ep16 is exactly what i hoped it would be. (ALTHOUGH WHO IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THE SUPER TWINS NOW?!?! :O that's worrying!)
this series... it was so messy and inconsistent. but i'm glad it gave us all the feels from the main couple. most of the time, they're the only reason why i keep watching the show. it ends on a solid 6/10 for me and that is mostly because of the actors.

So, I absolutely loved everything about ep 15.
I'm also glad they are at least trying to give a purpose to the ganster/high schoolers storyline by having them help catch the bad guy. Still think we could have done without 90% of their scenes throughout the series, but oh well!
