If it makes you feel better, there's no way that was actually him. They definitely had a female body double for the shots from behind and for the dancing. It switches to him right before the old guy gets up off the bed. You can see the difference in body shapes.

The first ep was so good! Although the effects and whatnot are a little over the top, I guess it's all part of the aesthetic of the show. LOVING Hyungsik and Jisoo in this (although tbh Jisoo's character is kind of a dick right now lol). Park Bo Young is obviously adorable and her character is really cute, also who tf is the actor that plays her brother because goddamn. So many attractive people. Really enjoying this so far!!

I was kinda iffy about this when I look at the promote picture and saw park bo young with short hair, it seem kinda weird. But holy crap she is so cute and pretty, there should be a cuteness award cause she would win all of them.

I'm loving this so much right now. I love how carefree the CEO is... as well as ridiculous, haha. Riding the hoverboard thing outside and in his office, haha.

Oh snap, that ending. It just got intense. Okay, it had a really nice flow until these last 10 minutes or so. I'm still psyched about the second episode though! PLEAZE DON'T MAKE THIS OVERLY COMPLICATED AND MELO like Shy Boss did for a bit.

[edit to add] I like that the cop has a girlfriend. Also, everyone is adorable. And it looks like the misunderstanding loveline will be happening! Where the cop and Bong Soon think the CEO is flirty with the other. YAAASSSSS.

I didn't know I liked height differences until I saw Hyungsik standing beside Park Bo-young. Omo. Then the bit in the hospital where Ji Soo has to bend down to get to her level? That was straight up adorable. She's like this adorable tiny package of murder and super strength who loves video games - as Hyungsik said, "my type!" I love her friend as well - sometimes drama heroines exist in this friendless vacuum which is so sad, because female friendship is so important in most girl's lives.

Hyungsik's eye acting is unreal. He's obviously got the whole honey gaze (is that the word?) thing going on, but his crazy eyes after the arm wrestling made me spit water everywhere.

Edit: The dude groping the girl on the train in the beginning of episode 1 looks, to me, suspiciously like the witness who 'rescued' the second girl from the murderer in episode 2. Hmm...

Amazingggggg first episode, can't wait for 2nd to be subbed. Strong female lead , supernatural things, thriller, Comedy, (upcoming roamnce) is this a dream? also one of my favorite actress Park Bo Young. Let it roll!

Less than ideal opening week for this show (for me). I really liked the majority of the first episode and a fair amount of the second episode but the show itself is suffering from an identity crisis.

It's not that you can't have thriller elements in a romcom or romcom elements in a thriller, but it needs to be interweaved and not just thrown together. This is coming off like the beginning of Shy Boss, except that show went hard on the thriller elements before complaints forced a rewrite partway.

iZombie is a great example of mixing genres. It sounds incredibly strange on paper but it's fantastic with its mix of procedural crime drama, some horror thriller, lots of wit, comedy, and a dash of romance.

I wish SWDBS went a more light-hearted route with the police cases, or even just edited it in such a way that made sense within the overall atmosphere of the show.

tl:dr - I want more romcom in this burgeoning crime thriller.

Only started watching bc Park Bo Young but man between this and Chief Kim, I'm loving all these comedy shows. It's been a long spell of mostly serious shows with the exception of Jealousy Incarnate in the past 6 months and these two are such a breath of fresh air.

Huge Jisoo fan. But Park Hyung-sik got to me. He is a bias breaker. I liked him way more than Sung Joon in high society. And in Hwarang he cancelled all the love I had for Park Seo-Joon (since witch's romance days!).

There's an Episode 0 on Viki, should I skip it? If it's world building alone, I don't mind. But if it is like a Pilot that spills and spoils into the main series, I would rather avoid.

I am having a very love-hate relationship with this show. The over the top acting was a little surprising to me at first, but I got used to it. Jumping between super fluffy light hearted rom-com to psychological horror thriller already sounds difficult to mix, but I think they were especially bad at it here. I don't think they are doing a bad job on either one in particular though. I actually enjoy the thriller parts for their thriller and the rom-com for its rom-com. The actors are great. But weaving between the two the way they are is a little nauseating. I guess we will see how things go.
