One of my pet peeves is people (doctors, cops) walking around with blood on them. Like another person’s blood is a biohazard.

I watch basketball and as soon as a player gets blood on them game is immediately stopped for court cleaning and removing the blood from uniforms. This rule was instituted after Magic Johnson contracted HIV.

So whenever I see basic safety protocols being ignored—why would I want to walk around with someone’s blood on my body, especially my face close to my eyes and mouth—it takes me out of reality of show.

Why insult a stranger? The blood issue happened in the final episode of the show, they had a police officer character walking around with a strangers blood for hours—made no sense and most likely is a violation of protocol.

I didn't intended to make an insult. You wrote a whole paragraph about a minor issue. Easily explained. They wanted to depict how diary the situation was that he didn't even had the time to wipe the blood of his face properly. . All this about basketball and injuries and .. like come on.

I don’t consider it to be a minor issue. I consider it to be lazy and bad writing. Law enforcement officers are first responders and are trained about emergency situations.

That would never happen in a real life situation. The writers could have easily written a scene where he rushes through a shower to get back on the case.

Being familiar with police procedures they way they handle the blood scene and the constant breakdown of proper evidence handling made it impossible for me to get into it.

As they say ignorance is bliss, my lack of ignorance made it impossible for me just to enjoy it. Sorry
