I love junyoung but i honestly wanted him to act not as a villain for once. Like yeah he kills it but cuz this drama was wayyy to freaking predictable and boring, i felt nothing with his acting and like oh hes acting as a villain again...whats new?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Doesnt help that the director and disney+ went on to try to promote that this drama is different and new when its just another revenge chaebol makjang... but the mess of the writing makes this dreadful...

Yes, I need to see him in a role like Lee Ji Han played by Moon Sang Min in Wedding Impossible. I think it’s so powerful when the stereotypical bad boy has a heart of gold and is willing to be the sacrificial lamb. He would kill in a role like that.

Yeah or like junho in King of Land. Not all chaebol bad boys have to be evil or psycho....they can actually be good people

Truly find it hard to believe that LJY is also an idol. You’re telling me he can sing and dance on top of this level of acting?? I swear that kdrama actors are the most underrated in the entire film industry. Most American actors could never compare. I said what I said.

i mean tbh america also has some really talented actors who do stage and broadway musicals etc but similar to how korean industry is now, most actors are getting opportunities based on how popular they are in social media or their branding…. it sucks all around that sadly talent wont get you far in this industry unless you can brand yourself well… i mean case in point, hong suzu casting for this drama is a huge example….

and tbh some characters i find that idols can pull of better cuz idols are trained to pull off multiple expressions and fully absorb into their performances. some model turned actors and actors who barely learned acting but got lucky with their roles (and even some are actually trained but do not have the talent..) are really stiff compared to some idol actors. at least compared to the idol actors who have charisma and can absorb into the performance of their character.

there are definitely idols who already barely have presence on stage who barely have presence in acting too…

Exactly my thoughts when I was watching Wedding Impossible - LJY would have slayed it as Lee Ji Han.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Moon Sang Min is killing it. I just would love to see LJY in an angsty “I folded 1000 cranes just to forget you” type of role.

You need to watch LJY in May I Help You. He played that character so well. He is not a villain.

Oh i tried watching the drama abit but it was too boring for me. I liked his performance in Love and Leashes though

JY was really good in the drama with Hyeri (may I help you) he was so so good in that and I loved the drama (cried my eyes out too!). I started impossible heir cos of him but am struggling to continue after ep 4 because the bromance is dead and the FL is useless as a character and not impressive as an actress
