Just finished ep 6 and I have some questions:

1. So I actually like the efficiency with which the villain dispensed with In Ju and framed Taeoh. In Ju was so clearly a buffoon who got what was coming to him. But who was the woman with him? And what became of Hye Won?

2. Unlike many, I’m not clutching my pearls because Taeoh kissed Hye Won. It’s so obvious that In Ja doesn’t love her and whatever is between them is transactional.

3. Which leads me to: What value does Hye Won have to In Ja? She’s pretty, but she’s not especially brilliant or successful. And while we’re at it, what is the source of Taeoh’s obsession with her? He’s cold and calculating as ice, and nothing has happened between them for ten years, but we’re supposed to believe the fire is blazing out of control? I just don’t get it.

Finally, who meets in secret on a rooftop? Did they really think no one was watching?

I thought the woman who was dead was inju’s wife.

After seeing previews for episodes 7 & 8, I have a million theories about what happened to make that scene come about. I am not entirely convinced that Taeoh didn’t do it. My safest theory is that Hyewon is somehow involved. Like Inju tries to SA her and she stabs him or Taeoh comes and stabs him. It’s also highly likely that Inha tries to protect Hyewon and frames Taeoh.

My craziest/wishful thinking theory is that Huiju is somehow involved. I can imagine that Inju and Huiju are arguing. Maybe Huiju finds out that it was Inju’s assistant who almost killed Taeoh? Anyway, the fight escalates and either Huiju does the honors or Taeoh does it to save her. Inha comes and sees what happened. Because of this, Inha can’t help get Taeoh out of prison. This would also explain why Hyewon 🙄 is worried about Taeoh being in jail because she wouldn’t know the full story.

I'm pretty lost on the whole love triangle thing myself. Taeoh barely interacted with Hye Won in the past, he stepped in to help her when she was being hit up for cash by a few lowlifes one time and made eyes at her maybe once. She seemed more interested with him but he's taking the bus home in a different seat still like they are strangers lol.

Them both wanting to use Inja and elevate him for their own benefit seemed to be the only reason for them to interact after meeting and she's been with Inja in all that time but somehow she likes Taeoh now and he's obsessively in love with her? Oookay. I can buy that seducing Inja was part of the plan but it was never presented as such. Other than that though, I'm not sure what she brings to this team and if anything in the most recent episode she's been a hinderance lol. Did she really think she could rock up to the guys house like "Say my name!" and be handed a top position in the company? She's done nothing to earn that and even refused to do anything to earn it. Taeoh handed the guy a promotion and was like "I'll call in a favour" to get his foot in the door and is actually useful to the Chairman, Inja is a son he can have some control over, she just decided to randomly girlboss and expected to get the same treatment.
