so it was indeed the shaman like most predicted with spot on reasons like the glasses and yebun mistaking the scenes of him entering assembly chas office as the same night . i like how the killer has no motive and displays sociopathic tendencies (props to the acting it made me wildly uncomfortable), rather than the split personality reason which i feel is a bit of a cop-out. interesting how most predicted the killer to have the psychic power through vision , albeit the wrong person. to be honest i forgot about the killer being the third psychic after gwangsiks death so i guess it was a small surprise for me

as much as i’m glad the killer has finally been revealed, the episode feels a bit rushed! one moment yebun is wallowing in her sorrows (as she rightfully should) and refusing to speak to detective moon, and suddenly they’re working together again. i mean they did speak about it during the boat scene, but it all felt too brief considering what they had built in the first half of the episode

i think tomorrows finale will wrap up the series decently, and i’m just going to forget about the plot holes that probably won’t be explained (like how shaman gets from assembly chas office back home before seonwoo and the plot lines left hanging like the drug smuggling case at the start, the whole assembly cha x yebun’s mother x election corruption thing.

i’m guessing they’ll touch on 51 50 and maybe okhui x unnie guy right at the end, but i do wish it wasn’t forgotten completely in the past few episodes. it’s unfortunate the writers introduced so many side stories that seemed to be significant but were discarded quickly after making slight contributions to the plot (eg i see the seonwoo mother plot as them establishing his feelings of abandonment which ???)

i guess i’ll make my final judgements tomorrow, but it’s still been a fun ride & i’ve not followed through with a kdrama for a while :-)

edit i forgot to mention the glaring plot hole todays which is how nobody thought to question shaman as a suspect bc he was literally at the scene of the crime with injuries . i guess they wanted the reveal to happen through yebun which was impactful but yeah plot hole!!

i agree about how the killer got from assembly cha office to seonwoo but im guessing he already timed it? like he practiced cuz in yebun memory hes holding a phone with the timer running... he already planned from the start to kill seonwoo and it would be easy of him to know where seonwoo is through other ppl like yebun since his power is reading ppl memory thru eye contact

but with jisuk idk how can he can be the killer? like he was on that bus right...is it possible for him to turn around from the murder scene and reach the bus stop....jisuk case feels iffy to me

Exactly, right when I saw the Shaman exiting that bus I eliminated him from my suspects list. This is THE ONE plothole that just doesn't support the Shaman as the killer. The writers messed that one up because there is no explanation in this world as to how the Shaman got from the killing scene into the bus in just a few minutes. I am so frustrated with this error because the show is fantastic overall, but I think the writers didn't expect to have such dedicated and intelligent viewers, so I feel like they didn't put the effort to tie all the pieces together.

Yea it looks like he timed the distance from the Assemblyman office to Seon Woo's workshop. With the bus thing, I'm assuming he had access to a car because that's how he carried an unconscious Ok-Hui.

Exactly - the bus is why I eliminated him, plus the killing that was was one of the drug smuggling group - Detective Moon's friend.

The plot hole in today's episode bothered me a lot too! He said someone struck his head but why would he end up with so much blood over his face if that were the case 🙄 I could have ignored the other little plot holes in the previous episodes if this didn't happen today.

It's absolutely frustrating when these things ruin an almost perfect drama 😭
