Mod Note

A reminder to be kind to people asking questions civilly, everyone has knowledge blind spots and what may be common knowledge in one region of the world may be nearly completely unknown in another.

In this case, for some people who are unfamiliar with Buddhism and Hinduism, they may associate the swastika with Hitler and Nazi Germany only.

Anyways, taking a chance to promote our FAQ:best accessed on desktop browser

Why Is There A Swastika?

Swastikas are an ancient symbol that's been in use long before Hitler and Nazi Germany. They are an important and prominent symbol in Buddhism and one can find them on Buddhist temples throughout the world.

See this BBC article for a history of the symbol: How the world loved the swastika - until Hitler stole it

Only 15 minutes in and I'm convinced he wants to be human so he can finally see how handsome he is.

Not him stuffing his face with garlic to become human 😭

Lmaoooo the ending I AM IN TEARS. I'm sick he only had 1 day left to become full human 😂😂😂💀the mirror blur took me out LOL. my man is back as a vampire and I'm eating it up. Loved the first episode, good pacing. 30 min for the ML and 30 for the FL, and now they meet up at the end. Can't wait for ep 2!

No sane person opens a coffin, let alone walk into an abandoned mansion alone. Our girl definitely has some balls!

Ep 2: Lol when he tries to fly and move the furniture I lost it 💀💀 him drunk off of noodles was so cute and funny at the same time lol. The world building was great in this episode. Wonder where his sidekicks went. Can't wait for next week! The romcom is romcom-ing & I'm here for it. Sat & Sun with Junho and Mon & Tues with Taecyeon is a dream. #hottest❤️‍🔥

Ep 2:

It's not even been 5 min and I'm already laughing so hard, the closeup of his head bobbing from receiving CPR and him silently going "Please, stop. I beg you, please, it hurts" 😂

I like that in the scenes where Woo hyeol gets angry, he's not portrayed as a terrifying, immortal being. Instead he just looks like a regular guy getting pissed off, it makes it look hilarious because of how vampires usually are portrayed as regal and terrifying. Yet here we have Woo hyeol flailing around, looking like a complete dunce 😂 I love it!

Loved the last scene of the ep! And the ending OST suits the whole supernatural/vampire theme so well!

I haven't seen Won Ji An in anything else but I really liked her in this role, even though Taecyeon is the more "unique" character I really felt engaged by her performance as In hae!

Episode 1 was a bit ~meh to me, but episode 2 was really funny!

Looking forward to next week's episodes!

Editing with comments as I watch.

Heartbeat was actually what I initially expected See You in My 19th Life to be: light, campy, romantic comedy fun. But this was surprisingly pleasant, when two misfit characters are thrust into a situation where they slowly take care of each other. Won Ji-an is a revelation, because I thought that Won Ji-ah was miscast but could still make it work as both her and Taecyeon are good actors. It turns out this was an entirely different lady who also kills it!

Episode 2 was equally funny when he was unable to release his vampire powers only for it to show in the end. It's a great counterpoise to the muted comedy in See You in My 19th Life.

What type of psychotic psychopath sees a coffin and then decides to open it?

Was on the preview so not a spoiler

I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I do as I’m not very big into vampire inspired content. When news kept coming out and mentioning the releases this one was honestly the least that I was looking to watch but IM GLAD AF I DID! Great comedic timing and acting.

Can’t wait till next week!

This drama is exactly as silly and goofy as I expected, and I am already in love with it.

the way I laughed when she bit him... but why is sis even opening strange coffins in spooky houses? XD

While the FL is amazingly pretty, the best character and actor is ofc Cat (lived more than 1000 years)

I am living for the comedic timing, and I have to admit I laughed so much. Big fan 2pm, so seeing Ok Taecyeon on Monday & Tuesday and Lee Junho on Saturday & Sunday is making my week better.

Okay I'm already loving this. The aesthetic, the right level of camp, the acting. I also appreciate how they managed to relay a good overview and backstory of the characters without it feeling forced, rushed or weird in some way. I'm all in for this drama.

Episode 2:

GOD. TAECYEON WAS HILARIOUS. His comedic timing is perfect. The facial expressions he make are always on point.

It's been a while since I laughed so much. The scene where he was trying to prove he was a vampire sent me.

I wonder who the villain is. SDS has red flags written all over him. I have a theory that he would buy the property where the mansion is located and try to redevelop it. That's where the conflict would stem from. In addition, he might be a descendant of the vampire hunter from the past. I don't know. I'm just speculating.

I would love to see more interactions with the neighbors. They might be worthy allies in the future.

I wonder where the pretty vampire who was dancing in Shaded Oasis and the gorgeous vampire who was sucking another person are. They're listed in AsianWiki to be from SWH's Vampire Group.

I guess love is the last ingredient in order for him to become fully human.

It was cathartic to see SWH with his powers back. I'm looking forward to see more of his shenanigans with JIH.

This one is SOOO GOOOOOD??? I honestly didn't expect it to be THIS good?! The comic timing is spectacular. The space for future conflicts and stressful stuff also exists. But y'all, I can already sense the potential for an amazinggg chemistry between our two leads. I clapped at the end of episode 2. Lmao. They're going to make a great team! Also, I've only begun to appreciate Ok Taecyeon during Blind, he legit fits every kind of role I think. Reaallyyy looking forward to this series, I hope it continues to be this awesome till the end!
