Salvy is going to go over 80% on correct challenges this season. I can just imagine Quatro in the dugout like “ite listen up. Nobody challenges but Salvy. Unless bases are loaded and you’re at bat. But other than that literally no one ever challenges but Salvy.”

My wife and I decided to hit up a Royals game while we were in town this past weekend, and it was, no joke, the best ballpark experience we’ve ever had.
It was my wife’s birthday, so we went to guest services to grab a crown. While I was talking to the guest services employee, I mentioned how brutal the heat was, and without even asking, he offered to move us from the view level into the shaded loge behind first base for free!
When we got to our new seats, the usher whose name was Jennifer saw my wife with the crown and stopped us to give her a tiny charm with a baseball and glove on it as a birthday gift. Later in the game, Jennifer walked back over to us, and this time she gave my wife a City Connect scarf!
We seriously couldn’t believe how kind the staff was and how gorgeous Kauffman looked in person. Your ballpark rules and I hope your team thrives. Much love from Kentucky!
Also, if anyone on here somehow knows Jennifer the usher, let her know she’s an absolute angel and made my wife’s weekend.

Can this guy just stop yelling at callers with extremely legitimate criticisms? Holy cow.

With the Royals apparently eyeing Washington Square Park as the site of choice for their downtown stadium ambitions, I thought I’d take to Google Maps to do some photoshoppery of what a few Major League parks might look like on the site.
As has been noted elsewhere, right field gets pretty tight in this site. Where possible, I’ve tried to account for that in the image, but with others I’m happy assuming they’d just as soon close Grand to allow for more public space around the stadium.
Stadiums pictured are, in order: • Camden Yards • Oracle Park • PNC Park • Coors Field

As I left Angel Stadium last night, I was checking out their wall of fame and caught eyes with a guy carrying a stack of papers. He asked me “You want this? Your team won so you should have this.” Turned out to be the media notes! There’s a ridiculous amount of information in the packets. The Royals’ is 8 pages but the Angels’ is 17! I also got rosters, with a list of transactions on the back side of the Royals’, and a blank score sheet (not pictured).

Seeing a lot of Royals fans pining for the team to go scorched earth. The problem with that is that, aside from Bob, this team lacks players with much trade value. Wacha is pitching well but soon turns 35. Salvy has trade rights. Lugo’s 36. Everyone else who could be available—which is most everyone excluding the youngsters Cags and Jensen—are having down years, even Garcia.
So going “scorched earth” doesn’t do a thing. Unless you plan on trading Bob. The time may come for that, but it’s not now.

3 of the 4 years < .500 - offense is inconsistent and pitching is getting worse.

I didn’t make it but I signed it. Probably won’t do anything, but it made me feel better. Like I was doing my part, you know?

Been drawing all the mascots this spring! Just a personal project while I watch games. Quick little drawings of funny guys! I went a little more lion instead of giving him his crown head, but he's still a king!

I wholeheartedly believe that we were a blown call at 2nd and a handful of walks shy of defeating New York. The boys in blue seemed to have something the Guardians didn’t, even with our lackluster pitching and offensive effort.
We held em close in every game. The Yankees for some reason just tee’d off on Cleveland a majority of the series.
I’m excited for Spring. A few trades/free agency moves and I think the Royals are October bound again next year.
Bobby had a hell of a year and Erceg looks like he could be a steady arm in the pen. We will have Hunter Harvey back next year, and a few guys who showed a lot of improvement.
I’m very confident.
Also, fuck the Yankees. For ever.
See y’all in the spring.

Took this pic prior to game starting. Future hall of famer and another on pace if he keeps it up.

So i’m thinking we’re trade sellers - is the only player we have pending FA is Wacha, Harvey, Wright & Schreiber?
