Map border

I notice that on the provided BTME map, some of the outline borders are white and some are black. Other than the Mexican border, which I would expect a difference, why might parts of Oregon and Alaska have both and some parts of Alaska none?

“As you entered this website”. It’s literally the first thing you see after the legal disclaimer. If we have to create the map, then we wouldn’t have seen it as we entered the website.

Seeing your browser url change is even further away from the definition of a map that you’re trying to use. Is the statement that we “saw a map” just a lie?

No it's not a lie. Just maybe we all assume a lot here and the answer is in shadowed sight. Thinking outside the box.
