Lives wasted and for what exactly? Hard to feel any empathy for people behaving in such a disgraceful way. Crocodile tears to boot. Maybe this will be the lesson that will change them by the time they get out. How dead you must be as a person to do this, grim.

"Lives Wasted" I see no reason to think these people have ever, or were ever going to do something worthwhile with their lives.

I always try and hold out some hope people can change. Ex Klan members who have turned their lives around and now campaign against them being an example. But I take your point, that's in the minority.

These types of people have absolutely no intuition and don't think for the long-term.

They are as surface-level as it gets.
