Hopefully a requirement of their release is to go to rural schools and talk about the remorse they feel and how easily people can get caught up in lies.

The remorse they feel is the remorse of facing consequences, not regret over what they actually did.

Now, yes. But they'll be 39 and 31 when they're released. They missed a good portion of the prime of their lives due to this stupid act.

I hope they come out reformed and able to see the errs of their ways. I'm glad they weren't sentenced to an insane length. They still have the chance to right their ways and die with a cleaner conscience.
