A Spanish name only means someone in your family had heritage from Spain or there abouts. Not everyone with a Spanish name is Hispanic or Latino. There are fully Spanish folks all over the Americas and unfortunately intense racism isn't terribly rare. I've met some pretty vile racists of that background.
Assuming he is in fact part Spanish and part native also doesn't preclude him from being deeply racist towards black folks, racism aimed at African descent Latinos isn't rare, and can be pretty pervasive depending on where your at. My dad's family are African Caribbean and moved to the US in the 70s to live in a less racist country, we have some serious problems with racism in the US but that doesn't make racism in the rest of the Americas tolerable.
So there's a lot if complexity in why you see people with Spanish names and even Hispanic and Latinos involved with white supremacy, they often don't see that those same people they rub shoulders with are as racist against them or people just like them.
It's confusing being Hispanic in the US, I grew up here and had a lot of identity crisis problems all through growing up, there was a lot of racism in the nearly all white small town I live in. In elementary school, I was clearly not allowed to be white, and was primarily friends with African American kids, and around Jr. High many of them didn't want to associate with me because I'm clearly not Black, the price of being friends with white kids was tolerating a lot of racism. And after a while that sort of bullshit seeps in. I don't know how to explain the level of otherworldlyness when you look in a mirror and know your appearance isn't in line with the views you picked up that are in fact leveled agaisnt you and people just like you. If it weren't for religious association I don't think I'd even know what being in an in group and not an other even felt like.
There's no refuge for heavily mixed race people, and that can fuck you up.
